Absolutely beautiful location. The beds were incredibly comfortable, felt like sleeping on a cloud. bathroom was beautiful lovely and warm with the heat lamps. Heating in the lounge room was superb.

The water pressure in the bathroom was not enough far to weak, uncomfortable when having a shower particularly during winter. The little fridge would freeze our food therefore we had to throw out our food that we bought regularly. Cleaning could’ve been done a bit better. Had to ask for our room to be vacuumed. Not enough toilet rolls provided.

We had a clean well equipped family rooms at Adamsons which was close to shops, cafes and restaurants in Margaret River and an ideal base for exploring Margaret River and its environs.

Our verandah overlooked the car park of the settler village attraction next door and right next to the toilets there so the view was not good. First day we were woken early by the lorry emptying the dumpster in the car park. Next day we were entertained by the lavatory cleaners whist eating breakfast. I was expecting a garden view room as depicted in the advert!

This is an attractive and quaint property which I have stayed at before. The location is superb next to the river with bike hire and woodland walks and a short walk up the road to Margaret River's main shopping street, cafés and restaurants. I had a corner room with two French windows opening onto a wrap around verandah with views over the front garden. The bed was comfortable and warm with an electric blanket if needed and a fan and reverse cycle air conditioning.

I know this is an old property, however I feel that it's a bit tired and in need of a some of tender loving care. The fence and gates could do with a fresh coat of paint and inside my rooms I thought the whole place needed a good steam clean and a fresh coat of paint, it felt grubby. *This is in no way a reflection on the housekeeping staff, it's a matter of building maintenance. A coffee table would have been good, I had to use a chair when I was sitting on the couch, which is a sofa bed and incredibly uncomfortable to sit on.

The position in Margaret river was exceptional, across the road from the best pizzeria I've ever been too! The rooms surrounded a central courtyard with a barbecue that maybe could have been a little noisy if in full use but wasn't a problem whilst we were there. The bed was super comfy and the tea/coffee/bikkys were topped up both days

The light from the microwave was extremely bright in the middle of the night, with no obvious switch to turn off but we just placed the tea towel over it

WOW, didn't expect this lovely property with a veranda overlooking the garden. Very close to the town which has many good shops and restaurants You will need to book dinner wherever you decide to eat. We choose the Settlers Tavern the first night which is nice and reasonable and the Italian right across the street in the building that looks as though it comes out of a disney film, sorry I can't remember the name.

Having to leave after 2 nights, we would have liked more

A great location, although the highway could be a trifle noisy at times. The gardens are beautiful, and the inner courtyard with barbeque and condiments are very useful. Visiting birds to the gardens were just lovely. easy parking off streetl. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

The pillows were not good. We could not get the Aircon to heat, and the TV was tricky to use.

I stayed for four nights and the room had everything I needed ~ crockery and cutlery, a microwave, a toaster, even a stove. The position was great, a short walk up to the main shopping area and right next to Margaret River and walks through the bush. On site parking was helpful.

I was glad I was in a room towards the back, as the traffic noise was softened.

Then room, the design, and the zen garden... were exceptional!

But ...the staff should inform us before booking that the terrace of that room nr 4, is facing a public toilet and parking..very close. That toilet was less than 2 m from our terrace table. If we knew it before booking, we would not take that room. I think the manager of those apartments should talk to Shire to put up some kind of high fence to protect the luxury apartments from public toilets.

It was clean & tidy & quite pleasant.

We were 3 pensioners myself my husband & his sister. We do not consider ourselves old & doddering but that bathroom was a disgrace. It needs modernising asap trying to shower was a joke just getting up to the bath to stand in it unbelievable. Lucky we were only there for a couple of days otherwise we would have packed up & tried to find a better accommodation.

Absolutely love this place, cute chalets with verandas and a lovely little garden with wildlife to enjoy, lots of info available. Cafes, restaurants and pubs all in walking distance. Set in a beautiful little plot near the river, litsif walks available and thi gs to do. There's an amazing Chinese restaurant to go too.

Stay was too short. The local restaurants need to offer more meat options.
