We had a clean well equipped family rooms at Adamsons which was close to shops, cafes and restaurants in Margaret River and an ideal base for exploring Margaret River and its environs.

Our verandah overlooked the car park of the settler village attraction next door and right next to the toilets there so the view was not good. First day we were woken early by the lorry emptying the dumpster in the car park. Next day we were entertained by the lavatory cleaners whist eating breakfast. I was expecting a garden view room as depicted in the advert!

This is an attractive and quaint property which I have stayed at before. The location is superb next to the river with bike hire and woodland walks and a short walk up the road to Margaret River's main shopping street, cafés and restaurants. I had a corner room with two French windows opening onto a wrap around verandah with views over the front garden. The bed was comfortable and warm with an electric blanket if needed and a fan and reverse cycle air conditioning.

I know this is an old property, however I feel that it's a bit tired and in need of a some of tender loving care. The fence and gates could do with a fresh coat of paint and inside my rooms I thought the whole place needed a good steam clean and a fresh coat of paint, it felt grubby. *This is in no way a reflection on the housekeeping staff, it's a matter of building maintenance. A coffee table would have been good, I had to use a chair when I was sitting on the couch, which is a sofa bed and incredibly uncomfortable to sit on.

Then room, the design, and the zen garden... were exceptional!

But ...the staff should inform us before booking that the terrace of that room nr 4, is facing a public toilet and parking..very close. That toilet was less than 2 m from our terrace table. If we knew it before booking, we would not take that room. I think the manager of those apartments should talk to Shire to put up some kind of high fence to protect the luxury apartments from public toilets.

Location is great, short walk into town, didn’t need to get in the car at all. Gardens & ambience lovely. I particularly liked the French doors out to the verandahs.

Our unit was right on the busy corner, so lots of traffic noise & from people leaving restaurants over the road. I’m sure a unit further along would have been great. I found the sofa was very low & uncomfortable to sit & watch but hubby thought it was ok.

Very spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Good size bathroom and the kitchen was well stocked with plates and utensils. Living area had comfortable couches to sit on.

Cause the apartment we stayed in is upstairs, it is warmer and it did require Airconditioning in the bedrooms or at the very least ceiling fans. The airconditioner in the living area wasn't enough to cool the 2 rooms.

The location is very convenient, within walking distance to the shops and close to the walking trails along the river. While it is located next to the Main Road, the room was quiet. There was a communal BBQ facility on site and it had all the utensils and condiments for BBQ. The kitchen was very well equipped and we managed to make a simple dinner as the restaurants were either full or closed by the time we arrived.

The building is a little old, and made from timber. It was a windy night and we could hear the creaking sound.

The accommodation was as expected, room was comfortable with excellent heating as required. plenty of coffee and tea sachets on hand. Microwave and utensils on hand should you want to eat in. Perfectly located for a short walk into Margaret river and two quality Italian style restaurants opposite. All units are ground level with a balcony with table and chairs to relax and enjoy the view. A locally purchased bottle of Margaret river wine and cheese definitely complimented that!! My room overlooked the Historical old settlement.

Nothing really, although I had an early morning departure and when I left it was very dark and there was no lighting in the car park at that hour. That made it a tad difficult to navigate with luggage. I had not noticed that coming back to the unit at night so perhaps the car park lighting is on a timer or similar.

The location is adjacent to several eating places and a short walk to the main retail strip. The small private verandah or balcony was a nice spot to sip a glass of wine and watch the birds in the trees and the ducks roaming the garden. Lovely.

Nothing really. The venue is nothing to look at from the outside, but the room was spacious and well-appointed. Very deceptive. In other words, don't judge a book by its cover.

Lovely little apartment. Kids loved the corner bath. Very close to town. Loved walking to the bakery each morning for croissants. Very short walk to the Rotary playground with river walks and the weekly park run. Amazing food at Pizzica across the road.

Kitchenette is incredibly small and so is the fridge. Struggled trying to make anything food wise so would recommend planning to eat out 😊

The location was perfect 🤩 Close to the river and beautiful walks and close to the town and Wineries and the beautiful beaches. Great if you want to be in the heart of Margaret River.

Our two bed apartment was great. A little tired in the bathroom and not great for people who might have trouble climbing into the bath where the shower was. My 85 year old mother struggled- the fridge was a bit old - but we loved the seating area and it was very comfortable.
