Good breakfast, lots of options. Nice and spacious room, friendly and helpful front desk. Great location for easy access to the town and the nearby lakes and mountains. Sauna and wellness area was great, good options for different temperature saunas and a silent room with day beds for relaxation. Filtered water stations throughout the hotel as well.

Automatic light in the room near the bed where the sensor could not be turned off, causing the light to go off in the middle of the night if we turned too much. The hotel and room was animal-friendly (which is great!) but the room was not very clean due to this (animal hair on floor and bedsheets, decent amount of dust, stained robes).

A neo-classical building with inner gardens, inside the city of Mondsee. Spacious, clean rooms with views, high quality equipment and also parking in case you arrive by car. Fits very nice with the gorgeous Austrian scenery of the lakes and its people. Excellent and high quality breakfast. Staff always smiling and ready to assist. Great people.

There are a couple of restaurants inside but none of them is in parity with the rest of the hotel qualities despite the willing personel running them. They are either overpriced or of lower quality and despite the package they offer (different cuisine, garden, live music etc) in the end you leave with a question mark on your choice.

What a lovely place to stay. Hotel upgraded and doubled the size of our room to two floor Executive Suite. Very friendly and helpfull stuff. Good bed, spacious room, big bathroom, two separated toilets, minibar, coffee machine and a beautiful view to the garden. Good breakfast, good food and friendly waiterer in restaurant. Perfect location in city center near the lake Mondsee between Salzburg and Hallstatt. Schloss hotel, basilika, museum, restaurants, spa and carage, all in the same building.

Perfect spot to see Mondsee and local community. Great hotel. Super friendly and breakfast was amazing! Clean and easy walking distance to the see. Plus free bikes for a day trip to see the see. The spa was a bonus!

We had a very nice room with a loft which we never used. The only disappointment was a very small window with light. Thank goodness the sun was out and we didn't stay indoors.

A hotel with the charming atmosphere of an old monastery. A magical place, enhanced by the time before Christmas and the Christmas markets right next to the hotel. Great maisonette room, perfectly equipped. Amazingly quiet place. Excellent hotel restaurant Benedictus with very helpful and accommodating staff. Excellent breakfast. A huge advantage is the underground parking lot with direct access to the hotel. Extremely nice staff, thank you all for a wonderful stay. The first hotel to which we give 10 in all parameters.

The hotel exudes history. You feel that you are taken back a couple of centuries. The staff were extremely helpful and are prepared to go that extra mile to assist. I appreciated the complementary bottle of wine in my room for my birthday. Room was very spacious comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. The hotel restaurant was also very good.

I just would have liked to have a kettle in the room as my wife likes to have coffee as soon as she wakes up in the morning. If we asked, probably the staff would have accommodated.

The Spa was fantastic, recently refurbished it was so relaxing and made our stay! The breakfast had a wide range of food and was in a relaxed atmosphere. The grounds were lovely and well maintained, car parking underground too. Reception and Breakfast staff very helpful!

Junior suite rooms have small windows (and ours didn’t open because of an electrical fault) but it wasn’t a problem as a lower window did. The bar (well publicised!) was shut for 3 of our 5 nights and we were pointed to the restaurant. sadly the waiting staff there were a bit grumpy so we only went once.

The hotel staff was very nice. They accepted the issue we had with the room (see below) and compensated us with a free dinner (including wine.)

We got a room under the roof with a single very small window. The room itself had two levels, so we didn't use the upper level at all. Without the upper level, the room is much smaller than advertised. This should be clarified on booking.com. However, we got an excellent free dinner as compensation.

Built in an old monastery? Beautiful building with very spacious grounds. Because it was an older structure, the rooms were spacious. We got upgraded to a suite. Extremely spacious and was cool even in this hot summer. Very comfortable bed and cool despite not having air conditioning ( most hotels by the way). Being in the town centre, you’re in the middle of everything. The large and long hallways added to the whole atmosphere. Simply charming

While comfortable, the large rooms did feel a little sparse. Not something I dislike, just not usual.

Wonderful staff. Very nice rooms, with great mix of old building and modern interior. Quite a nice breakfast in a slightly cramped space. The variety is huge, you get everything you want for the day. We used the place as base for mountain hiking, quite a few nice tours available straight from the hotel. The hotel has very well maintained bikes you can just take for the day. Very easy to get to the nice spots on Mondsee and Attersee.

Not much to improve, we had a perfect stay! Thank you!
