I was there at the beginning of April 2023. The hosts were very nice and polite. The room was clean. It even has a terrace and a view towards mountains! The parking is nearby. The restaurant is in the same building, the dinner was amazing. The included breakfast was great: there were different types of meat, cheese, eggs, juices, coffee. It's located not far from autostrade to get lost, but far enough not to hear noises from the road.

There were no issues at all! One thing, which was strange to me: in the room at the entrance there is a motion sensor, which turns on the lights. Maybe I didn't find the switch for this sensor, but it was turning on the lights when I was moving at the bed, so I had to cover it to prevent the activation.

Lovely 'hotel' to stay super close to downtown Salzburg and many nearby locations in Germany. It is a heritage hotel originating in the 13th century. Nice period rooms, good breakfast, and close to many interesting locations.

Nothing! Not fair to complain about lack of AC in Europe, especially in the mountains - so not a negative :-) To the owner: thank you for pronouncing my name correctly ;-)

A lovely village guest house, very, very friendly host with great advise on what to visit and what to avoid. Staff in the restaurant were lovely and breakfast was very copious and varied. The restaurant was also amazing.

The pillow could have been a little fatter but that’s a personal preference. Otherwise nothing bad !

This place is located on the foot of a very steep mountain which is impressive to see. The restaurant on the premises serves good Austrian meals and the breakfast is also good. I remember asking for some apple juice and they brought a whole bottle for us. The owner is nice but doesn't say much.

The staff doesn't reply to messages sent through Booking.com which is just annoying. The breakfast is served across the street from the hotel which wouldn't be a problem if there were a crossing. Be careful crossing the road as the visibility of oncoming traffic is poor.

Rooms are very pleasant, cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Eggs are prepared freshly on request. Beds are great too. You get a view of the mountains from the balcony. Staff are extremely friendly and courteous Parking is free

Bathroom has some wear and tear. Taps were not perfectly working.

Comfy room, great breakfast, tasty dinner in restaurant. Friendly staff and very helpful cleaning lady that rushed to the car park to bring us clothes we forgot in the wardrobe.

The bathroom needs a bit more cleaning - quite a bit of mould and dust. The room we had is above the kitchen so smells of fried oil mean you prefer not to open the windows.

We arrived late and the host was very helpful when we called the hotel. The room was fine, clean and silent. The breakfast was "standard" German/Austrian but the choices were many taking the number of rooms into account. The Gasthof has a nice atmosphere. There was good parking lot behind the hotel. Real value for money. I'll be back.

We were extremely happy with the room, the location, availability of the parking space, and a convenience of a restaurant with an extremely delicious food and very accommodating and caring personnel.

Clean and genuine Austrian guesthouse. Staff very friendly and breakfast above average. Be there early….

No air in the room. Could not see any air vent or air conditioning in the room therefore very hot and bad air quality. We were four people in summertime so…
