So a little quirky this one. No one on reception when you arrive but you are given an access code to get in to the foyer. The same access code then releases your room key from a panel. It all worked fine. My room was clean if a little dated but perfectly matched the price I paid. I took breakfast the following morning which was staffed and the breakfast room was immaculate. You could have eaten from the floor ! All in all an ideal stopover on my way home. I would definitely use this hotel again as it was nice and quiet and only an 8 minute walk from the train station through a pedestrianised zone.

The room could do with brightening up a little. Get the guy who did the restaurant !!

The owner was friendly and helpful. Self check-in worked properly although the referring mail arrived too late. This may not be owners fault but mails for this cases it should be sent from Booking.com at least one day in advance to make sure the information can be accessed early enough and to avoid additional phone calls. WiFi worked well even on the end of the upper most floor. My (single) room was very small, having not too much luggage is better. No problem for just a weekend. Public parking is free on weekends. The hotel's location is in waking distance to the main places like the minster or the town hall square. That's great.

Helped us out when we arrived a day later then expected. Contact by message and phone was good and they were very helpfull. Very nice location in walking distance of the train station city centre and restaurants. Nice building and the family room is very nice. Bathroom is a little small though but great for a stay for 1 or 2 days while passing though. About an hour drive to Vienna. Check in and entering the hotel goes by code, probably only in the morning there is somebody present at reception.

As it is in the centre, no (free) parking in front of the door, they do have two parking spots where you can load and unload for max. 20 min.

The room was just enough in size for 2 people. The bathroom and bed sheets were clean, The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, in the main street of the town. A lot of shops and the train station was also in 10 min. walk.

Unfortunately we had problems with the check-in. Booking.com didn't send the adequate email with the pass-code, we had to call in and ask for help. Luckily afterward we got the code and afterwards everything went smooth.

Check in was easy and without any issue. Breakfast was very good and there was a huge variety of any sort of food. The rooms were quite simple, but that is to be expected for the money. For me as a smoker it was very unique to have my own ashtray in the room.

Nothing comes to my mind, it is no hilton, but for the money it is a very nice place:)

Location is good (center), fully remote hotel, no personal contact. No complications. Room was actually bigger what I reserved but I did not complaint. :D

Elevator was out of order during the weekend. I had to use the stairs to top floor, it was quite challenging. :)

So, there was no AC(in the booking.com page says that there is). Also, the room had very old furniture and they didn't even have a fridge! It isn't worth even 10 EUR. Anyway, I'm giving 5 stars in order to encourage them to do better. I hope they read these comments!

Good breakfast, we had what we needed. The room was a bit outdated but comfortable and clean. The location was great, in the town centre. Lots of road works, but was on a Sunday so was quiet.

Smoking rooms were cheaper than non-smoking rooms (should be the other way around, isn´t it...?) Rooms were relatively warm, even when the radiator was turned off. Maybe the isolation of the (long) heating pipes would help (and save energy...)

Self-checkin was very useful and I got a comprehensive guide in advance and easily followed the steps. The room had all that is needed for a good night sleep and it was quiet as well. The room was clean, freshly washed towels, shower gel and soap was given as well, it had usable free WiFi, television and fridge.

The furniture was a bit old-fashioned but that is fair enough and did not bother me. I could not figure out how could I make the fridge work.
