The staff was very professional, kind and helpful. We loved how quiet, serene the property was, no blaring music. Can walk to restaurants-liked Mi & B's deli and Blue Sail, convenience store-Chippy's and very pretty Bon Vivant for coffee & cocktails, breakfast at News Cafe. Loved the hammocks and having the umbrellas on the lagoon. The property looks like the pictures on the internet-our room seemed to be newly painted, which was nice. We liked having the balcony to sit out on. Can take #10 bus for $1.50 into Nassau. Concierge can help you with excursions. Locals were all very nice and helpful.
Could use a couple of new tennis rackets.

The staff were exceptionally polite, helpful and kind. Small touches like water bottles on arrival, free shuttle services to the supermarket and tennis court use were great extra touches. The pastel colours of the buildings and the’look’ of the place was smart, Bahamian and welcoming.
Possibly slightly better cutlery and cooking equipment in the room kitchen. (Maybe a couple of wooden/ mixing spoons, a small chopping knife) And a small pot of washing up liquid would have been helpful to clean our dishes with.

The resort is beautifully laid out with the pastel coloured villas set around the lagoons and waterways. From the room you step onto a private outdoor space with a table and two chairs then immediately onto the white sands. The rooms all have access and look over the water. There are lounges, hammocks and a little bar near the pool. A short walk you have a choice of some local restaurants and a super place to eat brunch at Mi&B’s which overlooks Sandyport and private homes. Sandy port is an excellent place to stop overnight or for a few days to relax if you wish to avoid the tourist section and hordes of cruise ships. The reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was large, clean and had all the amenities , but we mostly loved the aspect of walking straight out onto the private sandy beach. I highly recommend.

The entire staff is super friendly, polite and welcoming. The resort is peaceful and clean and had a variety of different areas for us to lounge around. There are a few restaurants to enjoy in the plaza area walking distance away along with a store for most anything small you might need before making it to the grocery store. The little bar for snacks and drinks was perfect and breakfast on the property was also great! The room we stayed in was large, clean and had a nice view of the lagoon from the balcony.
The rooms could stand a little updating. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but we still slept great.

Very nice resort, loved the small lagoon inside the resort and all the hammocks, access to a really nice beach. Staff is super nice and helpful. Many restaurants on site (most of them with an amazing view on the turquoise water) and also a really nice café (best cappuccinos/cortados on the island!). Best location on the island, not too far from the airport, quiet area away from the crowded touristy part of the island filled with people from the many cruise ships but easy access to public bus if one wishes to get around.

The beach was beautiful and quite in January we like this, less people better attention, room was ok, the pillows too high, I got sore neck, very clean and lots of towels excellent, the shower needs to be cleaned better, plus there is not handle into the shower in case an older person falls, my husband had hard time going into the shower, he was afraid to fall . The plastic chairs outside the balcony needs cleaning. Other wise most of the utilities were ok. We had some family with two boys that were very rude in the pool, they were fighting and using profanity language, very rude. Sandyport beach was on the other side of the rd, however the resort beach was perfect for us, private benches, hamacks, . Had everything in the resort, not need to go to another beach .
Shower. The jacucci was perfect for me, however my husband could not go in. But I enjoyed Going to the. Poo Deck restaurant a bit too far away from my husband he could not walk fast and had hard time going there, we did went there twice walking and second time taxi. Too expensive for a short 4 minutes ride. The food there was delicious the first time, but the second time celebrating my birthday the food was not good, the bar in the resort was away too expensive for a drink, they charge me $17 dollars for a drink in a plastic cup. We paid $14 at other places. For the same drink

the nicest thing about this resort is that it's quiet and unassuming. No crowds, which we particularly enjoyed! The staff were friendly and Lady Sarah, the concierge, was super helpful with advice and booking off-site activities.
the nearby restaurants are somewhat ho-hum. Decent, but not exceptional food or drinks. The best dinner we had was in nearby "The Poop Deck" (no idea why it's named that way), and the coffee shop & bar across the street, Bon Vivants, was also great. The pool bar at the property was almost an afterthought, and the restaurant that served breakfast was okay.

The room was wonderful for us and our teenage daughter - slider opened out to a little sitting area right on the beach! We had a king bed suite with a kitchenette, 2 bathrooms and a sofa bed. Breakfast was delicious - we had avocado toast with poached eggs and french toast, fruit, etc. The beach shack made us yummy conch fritters and frozen drinks! All the staff at the were friendly and helpful - a special shout-out to Pam and Lady Sarah for their hospitality!
Sofa bed needs to be replaced. The springs at the bottom were all detached and the mattress was falling through the frame. This is not Sandyport's fault but just an fyi that we did not rent a car because they drive on the left and it was difficult to get any where without using a taxi, (and the prices for taxis varied every time). We tried to take the bus one day but it never came.

The location was wonderful near a gas station with store called "chippy's", wine tasting shop and other shopping boutiques. The resort was more intimate than the larger resorts and felt more private and exclusive. The lagoon and private beach was wonderful to wake up to every morning. The three pools with water slides were perfect for the kids. The pool side bar called the "Conch shack" had great food, drinks and friendly bartender staff and chef. There were several restaurants close by and walking distance from the beautiful cable beach. I will stay here every time I visit the Nassau.

We liked the set up of the resort. There were multiple areas to hang out so guests were spread out and you felt like you had an area to yourself. You can hang out at the lagoon, beach, pool or even off the resort as there is plenty of stuff around. The ocean beach is public but rarely did anyone from the public go to the beach, mostly guests from the resort.
You are in Nassau so the surrounding area is a bit busy. This could be a pro (access to restaurants, other beaches, grocery store) but if looking for a more secluded vacation maybe check outside Nassau.
