Location is great- off a quiet street in Louise area of Brussels and very easy to walk into centre through the nicer parts of the city. South of the hotel is very close to the beautiful Art Nouveau architecture of the city. Staff were great and the communal areas were very nice. It has an outdoor area with an old airstream in the corner. It is a lovely 'design hotel' and is an alternative choice for design lovers in the city with a lower to mid budget. Room was clean. Great bathroom and shower but no separate toiletries, just the same soap dispenser in shower. Bed was comfortable. Great location as 20 mins by metro to the main train station for Eurostar or other trains to the rest of Belgium.
I think for the price it is a little expensive in my opinion. Whilst the room had quirky furniture the design on my room (carpet etc) felt a bit cheap. Facilities are pretty basic for the price. Lighting is not considered. It was fine for me but my room had steep steps from the front door down into the room that might be inconvenient for many. I went in October and the room and hotel generally was very warm with no way to turn the heating down.

Reception staff were quite personable and helpful. Chic decor. Excellent location for restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Feasible walk to train station. Fairly quiet neighborhood. Excellent housekeeping service. Adjacent wine bar.
Bathroom somewhat cramped. No elevator.

It was my third time in the hotel and I continue to think it is the best combination of a good location, a cozy environment, nice staff and a good breakfast. Room on the fourth floor had also good light.
The only improvement needed would be to have eggs in the breakfast but otherwise it's in a very nice room.

The hotel design is very nice, there is a good restaurant in the same street, the breakfast was quite descent, the staff are proficient and friendly, easy to find from the metro, a nice 40 minute walk to the main square, the Old Masters museum is 15 minutes away by foot, there is a kettle and tea in the room.
WI-FI did not work properly! And I had specifically enquired about it before coming. It was not strong enough to participate in an online conference. The room was right under the roof and I had to use the electric heater to keep the temperature warm (it was December). I liked the hotel but not the room. Also, be careful, you have to boil the eggs yourself at breakfast in a special machine -- I did not know how to use it properly and burned my hand with hot steam(((

The staff are super friendly and flexible. The bar has what you need, good draft beer and a good selection of other drinks. The breakfast is simple but good. The rooms are nice, comfortable bed and a good TV. Overall a really good stay. I have to travel to Brussels quite a bit and will be staying again.
If I have to find something that could be better, the shower seemed a little clogged, the water didn't drain as fast as you would expect, but it didn't really bother me. And I would appreciate it if the bar was open a bit longer, but for understandable reasons they close at 22:00

The interior design is lovely, friendly and attentive staff, wonderful continental buffet breakfast, clean rooms with working kettle plus tea/ coffee, as well as Nuxe shower and hand gel, which was a nice touch. Thank you so much for your hospitality - we will be back! I think Vintage Hotel if perfect for both leisure and business, we really enjoyed our stay (the day and night staff really made it a great experience - many thanks to them).
To be able to control the central heating... the room was hot! However, most people would probably appreciate this in cold rainy Brussels :) I found the room rate a little on the high side, however we were staying over Christmas/ NY which is a busy time and Brussels in general is an expensive European city, so I guess the rate reflects this.

The bathroom was quite the largest one we've had in an 'ordinary' hotel. Having a proper bath as well as a separate shower made our stay much more comfortable. Comfortable bed. We liked the way it was set back from the street. The decor was soothing. Breakfast selection was good. The location was excellent: lots of choice of eating places and close to a metro station - but it was still quiet.
The room was definitely on the small side for two people and there was scope for a more creative look at storage, eg another shelf and some hooks.

It was very clean and nicely decorated and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The location was good 25min walk from the Christmas markets but there were places to eat nearby.
The only mirror in the room was in the bathroom and we really could of used one in the bedroom too as it meant that both of us needed the bathroom to get ready for hair and makeup and showers. The pillows were not comfortable but the bed was. I booked a standard room and a superior room but the only real difference was the bathroom. It was much smaller and only had a small shower on the standard and had a bath with shower in the superior room. It was a shame we couldn't stay in reception area or the dining area after 10pm as there were rooms there and as we were a group we just wanted to chat once we were back (not for long). Overall I would recommend this hotel.

November 2024
I booked this hotel for a business trip with 14 colleagues, and stayed two more nights for a weekend leisure afterwards. The location is excellent, close to everything, walking distance away from most of the attractions, and easy to get there by public transportation. The hotel itself, although situated in a fancy and hippy area (local people said "all the cool people will go"), is in a relatively quiet street. The breakfast is good value for money, although there are many good cafés nearby, if you travel with a group, it would be an easy option.
The rooms in on the first floor are too close to the lobby, one can hear everything from the lobby, and also the interiors are too outdated, especially the shower cabin is too small.

Functional for 2 adults and 2 teens. Location was good, about 20 min walk to Grand Place. Restaurants near by. Parking across street (48 Euro of 3 nights). "Early 2024" discount made it a good price. Size of room was good. Breakfast was 10 Euro/person and not bad, even if basic. Allowed to check in 1 hour early. Staff was pleasant.
"Vintage" included dust...rooms could have been cleaner. Bed in second bedroom (Room 25) was hard and pillows very thick. No headboard. While "vintage" is the theme, and a good one, the rooms could use some more attention to detail. For example, there's really no good reason that one has to unplug the TV in order to plug in two phone chargers.
