1) A beautiful quiet town and location 2) Large spacious rooms and bathroom 3) Most sweetest hosts Anka and Neils. 4) Every morning we were greeted to the most lovely spread of breakfast made by Anka who is one of the most sweetest, happiest and cheerful person I've ever met . She even laundered my clothes and did every little thing for us.. 5) We were allergic the first day due to dust and cobwebs but the host immediately took action and had them cleaned for us.

Nothing to complain as such. Except the property needs maintenance on the outside like balconies, garden, chairs are worn out , too much dust and cobwebs, also would make the stay more complete if the room is well equipped with clean kettles which is very important.

Wonderful couple Niels and Anke are the owners of this beautiful hotel. I was really surprised with hospitality and client oriented approach. Room was very big and comfortable. Mini bar had a good selection of beer and wine. Nespresso machine and wondeful cookies was top. It’s worth writing separately about the magnificent bathroom. It is almost the same size as the main room. Everything is done in vintage style. Looks amazing. If you want to feel like a count or baron, then you definitely need to stay at this hotel. At the backyard there is a beautiful garden with tables and chairs, where you can enjoy nature of Flanders. I recommend to try dinner in their own restaurant. Anke is a professional chief. She cooks like a God. All dishes were superb. For such good price you get Michelin like quality. I am not kidding. And with combination of belgium beers dinner was top of a notch. Thank you Niels and Anke! I will stay there next time during Ronde Van Vlaanderen! Best option in Flanders!

The room was huge and full of orginal pieces. Plus a fridge and good TV. The bed was one of the biggest I've slept in and sooooo comefortable. You are entering a little piece of history that has been renovated carefully. If you are expecting modern and flash this is not for you. But if you admire original buildings with features from a wonderful period of homebuilding that is kept clean and how it originally looked then this place will be a treat for you. Seriously the decorations for the toilet unit were quite incredible. It is just a two min walk to the local conveniences or the local bar 200m up the road on the corner. The breakfast was very freshly squeezed orange juice... fruit eggs, a wide choice of breads and cheese and ham. Superb tasting coffee. The dining/breakfast room itself is so unique. Parking just 20m from the front door. Free overnight etc. Perfectly adequate. Neels ( can't spell it right) was an excellent host of this one off Hotel.

Having to leave and goto work. I could not reserve the parking I found a space outside by luck.

Very large room with a huge bathroom! beautiful and atmospheric decor, possibility of overnight stay with dogs. very nice surroundings and a few good places to eat nearby. Very nice service 😊 I think I could come back here 😊

We were surprised that on the booking website it was stated that breakfast was included in the price, but on site it turned out that this was not true and that we had to pay extra. In the end we did not take breakfast sle due to our tight schedule.

Everyhing hier is just beautiful....If you are looking for a charming, historical, mysterious place that will transport you back in time, this castle-like house will delight you. The staff could not be more kind and helpful! They told us the entire history of the house. The breakfast is so good and is served directly to the table, very elegantly, as if you were a king. Of course we will repeat this beautiful experience.

There was nothing negative, was everything just beautiful.

Nyls and her beautiful wife ( the young host-couple ) are super friendly people . i was forced to book very last-minute a spareroom at Clementine ( because of last-minute cancellation by hotel Torenhof in Sint Martens Latem...) and as we are used to say ... not all bad comes to hurt : i had great time during the afternoon & evening. the B&B is located in a ancient building ... it could appear a bit creepy at first sight... but you will change your mind in a while as soos as you chat with the hosts.

unfortunately mostly restaurants/brasserie in Kruishoutem are closed until thursday ... therefore pay attention if you stay there on mon/tue/wed and you want to have dinner nearby...

Anke and Niels were wonderful hosts -- and great cooks! The room was large and the bathroom was even larger. Dinner was exceptional (do try the Gentse waterzooi and the kaas kroketten), and breakfast was very good. A lovely old house with great details everywhere, with a very pleasant back garden (great for dinner in the summer). Overall a very good stay.

The room was a bit noisy due to being there in the height of summer with the windows open to cool down the room, facing a moderately busy street. Nothing that the hosts could do anything about, however!

Niels and Anke truly went above and beyond to accommodate me and my complicated check-in and check-out process since I was coming in late from Los Angeles. They even set up and iron/ironing board in my room since I was in town for a wedding and new my tuxedo would be crumpled. The room was extremely cozy/charming and immaculately clean plus the breakfast served in the morning is outstanding. Highly recommend this incredible bed and breakfast and would stay here again in a heartbeat! I would rate my stay an 11/10 if I could!

A lovely welcome from Niels and a tour of the house. We had room 4, and it was fantastic. Lovely view and a balcony next to the room, perfect for relaxing with a drink. Mini bar, kettle, coffee machine all in the room. Plus a fan which was very appreciated in this hot weather. Then there's the biggest bath you've ever seen. A lovely goodbye from Niels wife.

That I couldn't stay longer. A fabulous home.

We all loved the spacious room and bathroom of the king suite; who doesn't want to have a Witcher-style bath while on vacation? The bed was so comfortable! Also, their kind and prompt communication was much appreciated. It was raining while we were there, but the garden and yard are beautiful and it would be a very peaceful place for a multi-night stay.

Nothing! We were very pleased. Parking could be better, but we're used to European parking so it was okay and we didn't have to walk too far to the B&B.
