Here to pick up my car from the industrial port, shipped from the USA, I never expected this bright, breezy, newly renovated, spotlessly clean, family-run hotel that is everything we once enjoyed from the good old days of 3-star pensions. Friendly (and effortlessly multi-lingual) check-in; flexible and understanding about the uncertainties of the arrivals/offloading/customs clearance process. The morning breakfast buffet is typical of small hotels all over Europe, with a broad selection of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, fresh fruit and veg, bacon and eggs -- and even gravlachs! The 24/7 self-service coffee/espresso/hot chocolate and tea selection was a godsend. Just a minute walk from the strand, with miles of walking paths through the nature reserves and along the promenade; fast, easy tram/rail connections from/to Bruges and all along the seafront; laundromat, shop, and takeaways right next door: the sound of wind and surf from my wide-open windows; comfortable chairs inside and out to settle into with a good book; what's not to love?

All the little details were taken care of. Like the possibility to use the microwave (baby bottle) or the free tea and coffee. There was also the possibility to use a football or beach sport accessories that they have at the hotel to bring to the nearby beach (10 min. walk), free of charge. The staff were also very friendly and helped us when needed! Free parking across the street.

Nothing to be honest.

Everything was perfect. Our room was very clean including the floor. I always walk with my white socks on ( to check how clean 😁) and you can see how clean the room was. The bathroom is very clean and the size is perfect. I love the idea of the bathroom and the toilet. Very friendly staffs and accomodating. Most of all, the parking is free just across the street. I would love to stay the same hotel when we go back to Bruges in summer.

Because of the various reviews i had low expectations of this hotel. Luckily the place did prove me wrong. So for the money i would say its a hidden gem. The room wasn’t anything extra but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, newish telly. Decent bathroom with bathub and double sink. The location also really good the beach is 2 minutes walk and easy to park because of the huge free public carpark in fromt of the hotel.

I was charged somewhere in the region of €25 for a deluxe room.Well there was nothing deluxe about the room, just an ordinary one with a relative small bathroom and a lamp post right by the window flooding the room with light.Breakfast was good but coffee machine stopped working and was given some sort of bad instant coffee instead,by some very unfriendly lady. On top of that there were no tv programs cos of the satellite receiver apparently broke down.

Just meters from the beach. Easy to park car. Clean an comfortable room. Very good breakfast for small money. Great staff, especially Hotel Manager :) Nachtwinkel just next doors.If I could remember anything...

If I only could remember anything...

Staff were so helpful. Our phones wouldn't work and one chap let us use his to order food. Another changed some euros. They also let us keep our tandem bike inside over night. Really lovely. Thanks

Smells of smoke a tiny bit in lobby area

The breakfast was great, the beds absolutely comfortable, the staff nice and helpful. It's very close to the beach as well. What I also really liked, but that's my specific taste, was the view from the room on the harbour/industrial area of Zeebrugge. Those harbour lights and sounds by night, I really enjoyed it. Oh, and the bathtub, great!!

Google Maps and other navigation apps have trouble finding this address. That could have been stated better and clearer before arrival, as they said on the phone it happened more often. So, for the people reading this: it's not further down the road in some kind of factory building, it's really close to the beach, just behind the Palace Hotel at the boulevard!

The staff at the Monaco ZEEBRUGGE hotel were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel manager was incredibly sharp and helpful with helping adjust to new schedules and booking a last minute flight for me. That's customer service! Thanks again! All the best, Saby

Thomas and the other person in the reception were great.The room was clean and comfortable. For us the location of the hotel was good because from there everything is around .It is a few steps from the beach. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Certainly we shell come again. .
