The new owner seems to have done a good job renovating the place and training the staff. The place was clean and staff were very friendly. You can rent kayak for free. Fire every evening and free filtered water.

They asked me to send me the credit card information saperately before I get there although the booking was made here. It was quite uncomfortable.

I loved the location of the resort being right in the middle of the strip of activity during the island's lobster fest. We also really liked the location right on the water with lots of lawn chairs set out on the beach plus the facilities own fire pit which was lite each night we were there. A really nice dock was also a part of facility which was very cool and we each of us spent some time out there admiring the views during the day and the tarpon swimming beneath the dock's lights at night. The facilities pool was also much used and appreciated by our family. Free cold drinking water and hot coffee were also available throughout the day in the office & was much appreciated.

I cut my foot on a drain in the the bathroom. When I let the staff know about it that morning, they apologized profusely and had it repaired/changed out by the end of the day.

great location on the main drag, lovely balconies in the building with the suites, decent pool, amazing views of the water, easy walk to restaurants etc, on the windward side so lovely breezes , full kitchens in the suites, long dock that gets you past the sargasso for swimming or ray sighting, helpful fun staff. they have a nightly fire pit which is a nice touch for bringing travellers together.

I tried booking directly with the hotel but could not get their system to work so ended up paying online for a huge amount for the huge king suit for two nights and then moving to a less expensive unit for two days which was better for us. there are a variety of rooms and prices which was a bit confusing. there is a bar on the top floor that plays ‘bass booming’ music but the staff there are nice staff and will turn it down if asked. Still not really necessary. it is on the main drag but that only means lots of golf carts whizzing by but we got used to that

The hotel was just metres away from the boat dock that took us to the island. The facilities were lovely. The room was spacious and comfortable and quite clean. It's tough to keep the room extremely clean with all the sand around. They also have a swimming pool we enjoyed a lot and they light a bonfire at night for people to gather around the fire. Every member of staff was kind and helpful.

Their restaurant was closed and didn't offer any food service because it was low season.

Excellent location, the pool was clean. There was a dock attached to the property with incredible views (facing East, so great for watching sunrise). I appreciated that there was water available for guests. Pool towels were provided as well. There are lots of great places to eat nearby and the property is near major tour companies and close to the water taxi station.

Unfortunately there were dogs barking very loudly at night on most nights; This is not something that the property could control, but appears to be an issue on the island. I'm a light sleeper but I managed just fine with earplugs.

Everything was wonderful from check-in to check-out with hospitality being efficient and kind. The room was very nice! I appreciated the glassware and towels, the simple decor, and convenience of the room. The rooftop lounge is beautiful and staff were also focused on the customer in a very relaxed way. Thank you for everything from everyone for a great getaway with my son! I plan to stay here again!!

Can't think of anything except the temp of the pool. I would like it warmer.

The staff is amazing, so friendly & super accommodating. The manager & front desk staff are particularly outstanding. It's a beautiful resort with a lovely private beach & they take care & pride in making sure it always looks picture perfect. Location is great as it's just a couple of blocks from restaurants & shops, and right on the beach with stunning views of the Caribbean.

The only thing I didn't like were the beds. I stayed in 2 different rooms because I extended my stay and the 1st had really hard beds, the 2nd upgraded room had slightly softer beds but still not as comfortable as I like. I will say, don't let that stop you, it's a personal preference & I think beds in general just aren't as fluffy & luxurious as I'm used to. Who goes on vacation to stay in bed all day anyway. If you do it right you'll be too exhausted to care what you crash on.

I'm definitely giving this resort 5 stars because everything here is worthy of it! Elegant property! A “ much better” property than anything in Caye Caulker. This resort is such a gorgeous resort, clean everywhere from the lobby to the rooftop restaurant/bar and the rooms... Our room was very clean and spacious. The pool is fantastic! Gotta get out early to claim your spot though! The beach is amazing! Like 5 steps from our door When it's not windy, the water is even more perfect. If the seaweed rolls in the staff ar out there cleaning it all up! Lots of chairs with umbrellas out there as well. Stunning views of the ocean. There were always activities going on, but it was never noisy. This is a perfect resort if you want to hang in the pool or lay on the beach all day and do nothing. Now let me talk about the staff…there is no other way to say this, it is just amazing!!!! Service is just outstanding the staff is always nice friendly and always smiling... Ken, the hotel manager is your guy. He makes sure you are entertained and having fun, always checking on us and making sure we have all we need. You will hear his laughs and voice every day mingling with guests all of them have known him for years and they return because of the service he was able to provide them with. Heidi front desk agent upon check-in was a PLEASURE! So professional and pleasant and eager to assist with anything we needed. In conclusion, this hotel is a 10/10 and has everything you will ever need. I had done extensive research on all the hotels and resorts for our trip and I stuck with my gut and I am very glad I did. I have new favorite hotel and I will most definitely become a regular here. There are way too many good things to say about this hotel, but all I can say is JUST BOOK IT. We made memories of a lifetime and I just returned back home and already cannot wait to return soon in the future.

It was a large room with 2 full size beds. We requested rooms on the 1st floor and they kindly met our request. It is in the middle of everything. I felt safe there even walking at night. The staff were wonderful and helpful. Big shout out to Ken, Hiedy, and LeRoy and the maid. They were friendly and fun to talk with. The price with bookings.com were under $100. The maid keep the room very clean especially with all the sand we dragged in from our shoes. Also, Nauti time a snorkel shop is on the premises.

It would have been an added plus if there were refrigerators/freezers in the room. We could only find 1 electrical outlet in the bedroom and 1 in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was GREAT.

Location is near everything, but far enough away from the party zone near the Split. The pool is clean and well maintained - I swam everyday in the pool. Other guests were pleasant and kind, many families with children, solo travelers, groups of friends, and couples. Easy walk to Juicy for smoothies and coffee everyday! Staff are exceptional.

The only thing I didn’t like (this did not bother my husband) is the scent used in cleaning and laundering. I’m somewhat sensitive to artificial fragrances. Next time we stay there (because we do plan on staying there when we return to Caye Caulker) I will request that cleaning and laundering is scent-free.
