On arrival the staff were very helpful and informative. The online check in is excellent and makes it easier for all parties. My room was very large, which was very airy and comfortable. It had all the essentials. It was very quiet with no outside noise. Breakfast was very good, with a huge selection of produce. The cakes were too good and it was very hard to resist. The hotel is ideally located in de Lapa area with the night life close by.

Although the location is good, it's in a run down area of the city and could be off putting for some people. The bus services are two blocks away and the metro is a 15 minute walk which is a pity as the metro is more reliable than the buses.

Room is quiet ,clean and spacious. Strong Wifi, good shower. Hair dryer, safe deposit, amenities found in the room. Breakfast was excellent. The property location is approx 10 mins ride to the SD airport. Uber charges was BLR$11. The closest Metro station is Carioca which is approx 15 mins walk. Each metro ride is BLR 6.5. Exit B when you return to the property. Exchange money in Lebonon Exchange Turismo in Copacabana. The tour that I booked from hotel is cheaper than online tour booking. Staffs can speak English and helpful especially Lucas. They allowed me to keep my suitcase after check out.

Water boilers could have been better.

The hotel is in the old Centre Lapa district and you get the proper feel of the real Rio. The hotel was very good value for money, the beds comfy and the breakfast was nice as well with good options. What really stood out were the staff though, they were lovely, helpful and cheerful and took very good care of their guests. If you're looking for a hotel that's nice but at a budget price, would definitely recommend.

The hotel was initially very busy so we had a first night on a ground floor room, which was a bit dark but we asked whether we could be changed and got a great room on top floor instead with a lot of light and a nice view - no fuss at all from staff when we asked to change and we only got the initial room due to the hotel being fully booked the night of our arrival.

The staff were excellent with great manner. They had at least member each shift who speak English fluently. Ms. Millerna was excellent and she helped me to book two full day trips and those were really fun. There was another gentleman (sorry I forgot his name who used to work for a cruise company and been to Alaska few times) was very helpful as well. Entire staff were excellent! I recommend and will come back to this hotel if I go back to Rio, Brazil.

Free breakfast was good although can be improved.

The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed featuring a pillow-top mattress. The bathroom was roomy, equipped with a showerhead providing strong water pressure, and the faucet had both hot and cold water.

The hotel reception was often too crowded. Due to its small size, navigating through it to go outside, wait for an Uber or taxi, or access the restaurant area was a hassle.

hotel was great, we stayed for 4 nights over Carnival. breakfast was amazing with lots of selection. clean rooms and quiet (we were 7th floor). they let us check in early as we arrived a few hour early and as it was busy they were happy to let us in the room. staff were lovely.

for me the downside was location, Lapa isn’t the safest and during carnival it became even more unsafe. I have stayed in Ipanema and Copacabana before and this was a completely different experience but we booked late for carnival and had to stay here but as 2 females I wouldn’t stay in Lapa again.

The room is really comfort, thr staff are so friendly and helpful..i travel alone and i needed to do the chack out lately then the official time...and they approve me to do the chack out more late for free cause the hotel was not full...really appreciate it...thanks!

Although the street may not seem very safe the hotel is well placed to visit the center of Rio. There are restaurants and supermarkets near by. The staff was nice and helpful

Had to change rooms because in the first one the air-conditioner made a terrible noise. Had to clean air filters in the second one. After that the air-conditioner worked fine. Breakfast was terrible. There was variety but very low quality. Bed sheets were old

Hotel is secure and in a very good location, close to restaurants and bars, but far enough away from a lot of the noise of Lapa. Room was comfortable and clean. Sufficient for my needs. Breakfast was okay. Nice to have. The also had a fully stocked mini-bar which was nice.
