Initially we had decided to stay for two nights but decided to take an extra night. The hotel is located in the centre of Rio in a safe street with access to shops and restaurants. The hotel is very clean and modern. The room is very comfortable and the bathroom is very well equipped. Breakfast opens early, at 6.30am, which is good if you want to get your day off to an early start. The staff are attentive and competent. We had a problem with the air conditioning and a technician intervened immediately and was able to fix the problem. I would recommend this hotel.

We stay quite often in the Rio Petit hotel when travelling to Rio: it offers a good location (close to metro and a short car ride to both South Zone and Downtown Rio) at a very decent price. Staff is very friendly and breakfast was of good quality.

Not as such an issue, as we already knew the place, but bedroom is not big, same going for the bathroom. That said, both were still quite clean. The bed could be a bit more comfortable and the aircon control was not working (was replaced y a very friendly staff member upon request).

Very comfy room, room is on the small size if you have huge luggage they won’t have enough space for you to open your luggage. Staff is very nice and kind. Good breakfast and very clean hotel.

One of the housemaid came to our room without knocking. After we checked in - the staff may need to inform the housemaid on the occupied room.

The room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was fair enough but not great. Eggs was cold, juice was hot. In general it was good.

I have requested additional pillows and towels and had to do it more than once and make a complaint in order to be attended. The receptionist was not not that polite with me.

This hotel is in a great location if you’re going to rio and hitting up some tourist spots it’s close to everything. There’s the subway right around the corner if you don’t want to Uber everywhere. Tons of places to eat around the hotel, supermarkets if you want to save, pharmacies. Very affordable and very comfortable for the price. We have recommended the hotel to our friends and family and one of our friends already booked herself a room in April from all the raving about this place that we did.

The pool area was filthy, someone really needed to clean up the area. I didn’t go in the pool as I was disgusted by how dirty the pool was.

excellent reception staff who kept our luggage and tried hard to get us into a room as early as possible after our 7.30 arrival. very good breakfast selection.

only complaint is the space between the end of the bed and the wall with the TV is very tight making the room feel a little small

On a couple of occasions we had to wait to sit down for breakfast because none of the tables had been cleared by the staff.

It is a beautiful hotel, well located, with great facilities and very quiet. The breakfast is very complete with fruits, breads, cheeses and cakes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is small but perfect for a couple or if you are traveling alone.
