very comfortable room and location

The check out process was terrible. There was a HUGE line to check out. They made everyone wait in this line to check out even if there balance was zero. They had to check each room when someone checked out to see if there were mini-bar expenses which meant going into each room to manually evaluate -- obviously hugely inefficient. We used nothing, so I waited 35 minutes in line to be told I have a ZERO balance as I already knew. If the hotel has our credit card info on file. This is not how mini-bars work in other countries.

We had a realy good stay at this hotel. Room had a good size and was.very clean, pool area very nice, breakfast was amazing with a great variety of food. The whole personel was very helpful, frendy and we had absolutly no problems with comunicating in english. Location of the hotel is also a big plus, as the area is safe, subway/bus stop is just a few step away, shopes and restaurants within walking distance. Would definatly recomend and stay again 😊

Perhaps some of the furniture (e.g. closet) could use a little update as it had a 90' flair and an electric socket by the bed would be usefull (to charge your phone at night)

Breakfast has a nice range of fresh fruits and local specialities. The location of the hotel is close to the beach which is nice. The room was clean and had everything you need.

As a vegetarian, I would have enjoyed some larger portions of e.g. Greek joghurt or some vegetarian cold cuts at breakfast. The surroundings of the hotel are bit unsafe for foreigners and I did not feel super safe all the time. The fridge in my room was not working.

Centrally located in Catete/Flamengo. With a subway station right across the street. Staff also spoke English, so that helped. The room was sizeable and had enough space. A small bar with a bartender who can make a good caipirinha. There was some good breakfast options and lots of juice.

I was there for a work conference and there were some catering issues that weren't just about the hotel.

convenient location in Flamenco. lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. A beach 5 minutes walk away. The room was large and clean, the washroom was roomy. Nice view from the restaurant on the roof. The restaurant on the main floor was also roomy and offered a buffet breakfast with lots of fresh fruits and either a la card or buffet dinner. Overall, good impression and good value for money.

there are 3 elevators that are always busy and limited capacity. TV offered only one channel in English (CNN). More English channels would be beneficial. Staff is very accommodating, but very limited English, particularly in restaurant

Breakfast was very good. Open until 10:30 am. The staff was great. Had a international flight in the evening. They allowed me to stay until 2pm. with no extra charge

Only bad thing was the bed sheets. Was not sure they were clean. There was a lot of oil stains on them . In the light of day, they were hard to see but in the evening they were easy to see. Slept on a large towel that was in the bathroom.

This is my second visit to this hotel. As before, I found it clean, well equipped and in a great location close to the beach and metro. Nice bustling neighbourhood, easy access to the other areas of Zona Sul and Centro. About 40 mins from the international airport. Great breakfast, friendly staff.

The location is excellent. The hotel has a nice rooftop terrace with great views. It also has a pool and gym.

The gym is a bit small, but definitely enough for a few days stay. I was a bit disappointed that the hotel did not offer airport pickups/prebooked taxis from the airport. I also missed a kettle in the room.

Very well located - next to a subway station and minutes from the local airport, within a historical residential area. If you have an appointment at the US consulate in Rio early morning, like I did, this is the place to stay! Very quiet, well-lit spacious room. The staff was very courteous and breakfast was excelent. I will definetely come back.

Internet signal is VERY BAD. I had to use my carrier signal all the time.

Safe place and location. Everything is 20 mins by car. Friendly staff and helpful. Clean and would do for 2-3 days. Its better than most hotels in rio.

I was surprised by the age of the building. On pictures the hotel seems new. Modern Lobby. The room is a bit old because the building is old. Despite that I would.recommend it because its problems are less than other hotels in rio.s
