The room

The resturant menu. Specially there was a separate menu for people who booked half board option. Felt like discriminated. The dinner buffet was skipped without any proper justification and the food option was very limited. No proper transport service. The hotel is very far from copacabana beach.

Excellent breakfast and very friendly, attentions and helpful staff. Quiet rooms, with good acoustic insulation. The lunch buffet is very good, and good value for money. So is dinner. Excellent location - very close to the beach (10 minutes walking. Note that Barra is a 20 minute drive from Rio’s more touristic south zone). Hotel parking is good value for money.

Overall the room was clean, except for the bathroom: it had not been cleaned very well before our arrival. The bathroom was also quite used and could do with some renovation and better cleaning. You could hear the neighboring bathroom through the air vent.

Great value hotel in good location. Breakfast included, with local items included. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good value restaurant and close to other options in area. Short walk to beach, 25 min walk to Metro or short taxi. Allowing easy access to all beaches/attractions. Taxi to large Barra Shopping Mall cheap and whole area felt safe and friendly. Large supermarket 5 min walk for water etc. Recommended.

The hotel was very good located, walking distance to the beach, shopping area, restaurant. Breakfast delicious and restaurant very good. Very clean hotel . Very dog friendly hotel! Special thanks to Jordania, Martin and Laura who were exceptional friendly and made for the job. We will visit Rio again and stay with you guys again. it’s a great hotel with a great location

The pool (the pool is the first picture that appears in the advertising) was closed but they didn’t say anything in Booking.com. Just when I got to the check in desk.

The hotel staff is very friendly and willing to help. They promptly provided toiletries I had forgotten at home. The breakfast was impressive with a full table with many options, including gluten-free and vegan ones. I appreciated the view and the infrastructure of the hotel. It was a good cost-benefit considering everything.

The location at Barra is not really accessible for tourism, it is very far from the city center, the airport, or any other place aside from Barra itself. But since I had work commitments in the neighborhood it was a solid option.

The staff were wonderful. From check in , bar, restaurant, housekeeping. Everyone was always friendly and helpful. It's' a lovely area, great shopping centres close by. The beach is walking distance and has nice kiosk's for drinks and food. We rented bicycles from the hotel as well.

Our room was only ready at 17h00. The next two days same thing. Rooms made up around 17h00 only. The bath towels had small holes, but very clean. Not one single English TV channel.

The breakfast is really Nice, the staff, they can be nice if you ask or need any thing.

I had to ask all the time to Clean the room, it seems that they don’t see the dirt, I found it super humid place, about the food, if you order anything, make sure they understand what you want, as they seems not to listen you, not many restaurants around!

Best value among the higher end hotels around Rio. If its in your price range, youll get your moneys worth. I paid around 1400$ for a month approximately. Internet and wifi is around 70-100 mb/s inside the rooms depending on which room. Worked well for video conferencing to Europe. Better prices and more modern facilities than the hotels on the ocean front in Barra da Tijuca (which seem to be from the 90s). This hotel is more modern and better overall standard. Definately better than similar hotels at Ipanema and Copacabana, where you would have to pay 50% more for the same standard. I stayed in total 1 month and worked from there. Friendly staff, good service.

I really cant complain much. The beach is a 5 minute walk, so its nearby, but not on the ocean front.

It was good !! Good location, and facilities, staffs were very helpful, good restaurant and very good service and food.

I don’t know about the others, but my room wasn’t very clean, I found just beside my bed a bra . And for sure the bathroom needs a very very good cleaning , some bleach and a brush would help a lot .
