The atmosphere and decoration was really nice and homie. You can see that the hotel has been open just for few months! The bed was soooo clean, room had a safety locker, hairdryer and fridge. The only thing I was missing was the iron for clothes. All of the staff was mostly really friendly and helpfull (of course in a bulgarian way) and points for a 24/7 reception! Special mention to the lady at the reception (maybe the hotel manager?), she was so friendly everytime and spoke really good english! Location of the hotel is perfect. You can just walk anywhere in the centrum, I didnt use taxi at all during the one week visit.

The owner (I guess) who was working at the reception didnt talk any english. He was rude, ignorant and really unfriendly. Im just wondering why the heck he is running the customer servicant job if he is onviously not able to do that well with the tourists. Also the water coming from the toilet was everytime like brown coloured at the first. It took like 10 seconds to clear up so I highly recommend not to drink the tab water. ”Restaurant” at the hotel was also a disappointment. Good place for a drink or two but the food was not that good (three different breakfast plates and few different toast&crisps-dishes).

My sister and I had an amazing time in Central Club (Club Central 🤠) The employees were really hospitable and made our time in the hotel really nice, with special thanks to Michael, the owner of the breakfast area :) The spa was relaxing and nice, with good service of drinks. There’s also a possibility to order shisha. The hotel is very close to all the “hotspots” in the city! Cleaners cleaned our room every day. Overall, can recommend this hotel and also the piña coladas! 😃😃😃😃

Room smelled a bit like cigarettes

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Central Club Sofia! The room we stayed in was very comfortable, offering all the amenities we needed for a relaxing visit. The facilities were excellent, with everything well-maintained and functioning perfectly. Cleanliness was good overall, though I would rate it 4 out of 5 as there was some room for improvement. However, it didn’t detract from the quality of our stay. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Sofia’s city center. Everything we needed, from shops to restaurants and major attractions, was just a short walk away.

The hotel was in the perfect location. Close to the Metro, supermarkets, beautiful buildings, restaurants etc. We used the spa which was included in the room price and it was lovely. Reception staff were extremely helpful. We loved our room on the 6th floor. We could hear the trams early in the morning but we loved that too. We had prebooked tickets to the Museum of Illusions only to find out it was right nextdoor to our hotel. Reception recommended a fabulous restaurant only 600m up the road. The food was typical Bulgarian food, the restaurant was unusual. We loved it so much we went back again the next night!! Can't recommend the hotel and Sofia enough. Great experience.

Absolutely nothing!!!

The hotel is located a short walk away from the main tourist centre and was well placed to get around on foot. Everything in the hotel seemed slightly dated but I think that was part of the charm and look it is going for. The room was complete with a small fridge and air con and staff were friendly and helpful. There was a bar, restaurant and spa downstairs which appeared well priced, but we did not explore any of these whilst staying.

There was parking avaialble though this was at an extra charge which we did not realise when booking. Staff were helpful in booking this though and granting access (as it is located behind the building behind a barrier).

Both the room and the spa were better than expected! My partner didn’t like the old school decor that much but I thought it was charming the way it was, it reminded me a bit of the movie the Grand Budapest Hotel :-) Nice that there’s a bar in the hotel too!

We could’ve used a few more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and swimsuits after the spa but that’s a minor detail. The spa could’ve done with some scented candles for an extra, aromatherapy touch. There view from the room wasn’t that special but the room was nice enough so we didn’t mind. The tv remote wasn’t working but we were staying for just one night so we didn’t mind that much.

I would really recommend this hotel. Like many things in Sophia it is excellent value for money. Where else could you stay at a hotel right in the heart of the city for this price? The decoration was nice and quirky - kind of "Bulgarian glamorous", which makes you feel as if you are in a classic movie! The spa is a nice bonus and the staff were nice. Right near everything you would want to visit. I totally recommend it.

I liked nearly everything. Perhaps in summer when you leave the windows open there is a little noise from the passing trams but that was not really a big issue.

We really enjoyed ur stay here especially using the relaxing spa facilities at the hotel which were kept very clean & nice. The staff were welcoming & attentive making it easy to order food or book a lovely massage. The hotel, including the bedroom and bathroom, were kept very clean each day. Nice shower & warm rooms.

The beds were slightly uncomfortable because instead of a double bed it was two singles pushed together. Also, the bedding wasn't big enough to cover you when sleeping. It would've been nice if slippers/robes used for the spa were repalced each day so they were not were damp when using them again the next day.

Room was excellent with hot tub. Spa facilities were really nice and a great free add on to the booking. Perfect location for city centre

Lobby, entrance and the one lift look pretty outdated (room was the polar opposite to this) Also the hotel tried to cancel our booking on the morning of arrival because we hadn’t confirmed our arrival time. Seemed pretty unnecessary and they lied about having chased us a number of times (they’d messaged once that morning). I’ve never had a hotel try to cancel because of that before and was quite annoying when we had no idea what time we’d get there - caused unnecessary stress trying to sort and figure out in transit.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the center of the city, close to all attractions. photos of the hotel are true. the hotel has a swimming pool and sauna - you can use it for free. The hotel staff is friendly and will always help you.

I can not find such a minus that is worth paying attention to.
