I have asked for early check in ,lady on receptions said that can’t be done and check in is at 14.00.Did not appear to make any effort to try .When come back later on seamed she could not even remember I was there earlier.

The pillows were too hard and uncomfortable.

Our stay in Sofia Place Hotel was overall nice. The location is amazing, a few meters away from Vitosha street and NDK. The staff was very nice, especially EVA who is a very kind person. She makes you feel welcome instantly. Also she can speak english well so communication with her was very easy and intuitive. In the room you find most things you need: tea, coffee, water (for free) and more. Overall, Sofia Place Hotel is a good deal.

The first night we arrived tired so the sound of yhe elevator opening and closing was a bit irritating but we barely heard it after that. Also we asked for extra blankets as we cannot sleep in the heating and our request was granted. So no problem.

I liked my room very much! It was bigger than expected and it felt as if I were in my own small apartment. My favorite part was probably the balcony. It had a nice view of the Vitosha mountain. The bathroom was very big too. The shower cabinet was one of the biggest I've ever seen! The room was clean and the mini bar was supplied daily. I like that there was a detailed explanation on what's free and and what's not, as well as the prices of all the items. The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is very close to Vitosha Boulevard, NDK, Vasil Levski Boulevard, Vasil Levski Stadium and the Saint Nedelya Temple. Breakfast is not available in the hotel, but it is in close proximity of many cafes and restaurants. My room was equipped with a kettle, two regular glasses, two smaller cups, two teaspoons and two wine glasses, which was very convenient. The pillow in my room was the best pillow I ever slept on! It was perfect! My back and neck weren't sore at all! The internet was great as well. I would definitely come back to this hotel again if I ever visit Sofia in the future.The staff is friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable here.

The second half of all the coat hangers in the room was broken off. The lid of the kettle was broken apart from the kettle, so I had to physically remove the lid in order to pour water into the kettle and into my mug, or else it would fall off. I'm not sure if it was due to poor isolation or very noisy neighbors, but I could hear the neighbors from the room next door. This didn't interrupt my sleep whatsoever. I wish there was a small sponge and detergent I could've used to clean the mugs and cups I drank water and tea from. I also wish the room had one more towel.

The perfect location in the heart of Sofia, and just a walking distance to all sights, shops, restaurants and the pedestrian Vitosha Street. At the same time, the hotel is located on a quiet side street, so nice and peaceful. Specious, comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. Having a balcony under the stars (our room was on the 5-th floor), with a nice view of the city skyline and even the Vitosha mountain was a bonus. Very nice and helpful staff, all of them. It was our second stay, and we'll stay there again when we are back to Sofia, for sure.

No breakfast is offered at the hotel, but there are a lot of places around to go for breakfast or brunch.

Location is amazing, extremely central, right next to Vitosha Boulevard, but also very close to Sredets and having everything around (restaurants, shops, cafés, groceries, metro station, bus stops, etc.). Room was great, very comfortable, spacious, kitchen well equipped. Bathroom was clean and good (although it can use an upgrade). Staff was incredible, very friendly and helpful.

The only thing that could use a little improvement is the bathroom. It was still good and all clean. But if it might be improved in the future, it can improve even more the quality of an already great stay.

The location is perfect, very central and close to a few underground stops for different lines too. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and clean. Overall good value for money and I have stayed there a few times already.

The furniture is outdated and old but is still okay for the money you pay. One thing that could easily be improved though is investing in new towels for example. The ones we had were very old, worn out and some of them even had holes. Not a disaster but at the same time an easy fix.

The room was very spacious, much bigger than any other standard hotel room I've been in. We had a tap and kettle to make hot drinks, a TV, a fairly nice bathroom, and a fridge for the minibar. We found everything we want to go to within a 30 minute walk. It's really easy to get there from the airport - a 30 minute metro journey (which costs about 90p) and a ten minute walk.

The air con didn't really get cold so the room was really hot a lot of the time. It doesn't help that it only runs when you're in the room and your key is in the slot, so you come back after a day out and it's boiling. Similarly the fridge didn't get particularly cold. These were fairly minor issues though.

Excellent location, comfy beds, huge room and wonderful shower. Friendly staff at the front desk everytime.

The aircon unit in my room didn’t work which made the room unbearably hot in 34 degree temperature. I mentioned it to the front desk and asked if they had a fan which they did not. They said they’d called to have someone inspect it as a few rooms had broken aircon units. The aircon in my family members (separate) room worked fine so I guess it was just unlucky for me that mine didn’t but it did impact my ability to sleep well =(

Great location, 2 minutes walk to centre, restaurants and shops nearby. Pleasant staff. We checked in at 2am with no issues as they had 24hr reception. Towels and all soaps/shampoo provided. WIFI had great connectivity. When we were leaving, we were also able to leave our bags after we checked out. 100% would easily stay again!!

Very minor, but the hairdryer is one of the ones that are stuck to the wall. It works for about 2 mins then runs out of charge (and then needs to be hung back again for a minute before you can reuse). Not major, but be mindful, drying hair can take up to 5-10mins longer than usual
