The staff were nice and helpful. We booked tickets and a tuktuk to the circus through them and they kindly gave us smaller notes for our money. We were offered a free tuktuk from the bus station to the hotel which we appreciated. The tuktuk driver then asked if we wanted a tour that afternoon but we delayed to the following day and did a full day tour which was excellent. Great AC and spacious room.

The fridge didn’t work, there was no water provided, and the room didn’t feel well cleaned. The bin was emptied but not changed so smelt a bit. The room was a bit dusty and had the previous stay’s half drunk water bottle in the fridge and toothpaste lid in the bathroom. The hotel messaged asking if there was anything they could do during our stay so I’m sure they would have rectified these if asked but would be good to be cleaned prior to arrival.

The hotel is a bit aged but it is cosy and everything was working as expected. The location is next to the market and the river. The owners are really friendly and help you organize tours and transfers for a fair price. Right around the corner is a very delicious restaurant and opposite of the hotel is a coffey shop. Unfortunately, the rooftop restaurant was not reopened since it's closure due to Covid. However, you can still get a nice view from the rooftop. They also have TukTuks that pick you up from the bus station for free.

My room was on the third floor, without a lift. It was fine for me, but for people with limited mobility, this might not be the right hotel.

Nice hotel, the staff offered us rice cakes everyday, which we appreciated a lot! They have many services, for transportation and activities. We booked our bus with the hotel for example. The location is good, just near the central market. The room was big and the AC powerful. Comfortable bed.

Nothing truly disturbed us, but better shutters on the window would have been appreciated. Finally, the staff could not speak very well English. It was fine for us though, as I could speak basic Khmer.

The bus station collection was effective. Reasonable charge for daily tuk-tuk (sits 4 adults facing one another comfortably) sightseeing tour at USD25/day, morning around the city and suburb, afternoon a 40 minutes one way drive to the Killing Cave and Bat Cave sites on way to the famous gem stone producing city "Palin". Hotel location is ideal just off the noise to central market, quiet at night. Walking distance to historical colonial quarter by the river (better looking than the muddy Siem Reap streamlet!). Few minutes stroll to the central market where abundant food and drinks available. Breakfast is especially welcoming at noodle stalls where one pays Riel10,000(USD2.50) for 2 full bowls of noodles + assorted meat! Nearby the hotel this Corner Restuarant + cafe offers good valued and variety of dishes whole day`, starting with USD2/soup noodle...USD3.50/fried noodle w/ cashew nuts & meat. Evening comes with various BBQ of seafood, meat, roast chicken, street food stalls open, attracting lots of local customers. A Thai supermarket at the far end but prices are much higher esp. on imported beer. Hotel is efficiently run by the family members, offering many tourist services like bus tickets. As departing guests, the owner would bide us farewell and much of our surprise, presented us a local Khmer scarf as gifts! It'd improve I'm sure as the post-COVID 19 be over soon, it could extend more useful information and services to other attractions, like the cultural part on east river, Khmer acrobat performances by its local training school (where the origin comes from). On the other hand, proper long distance coach services to be introduced later by local operators, affording more space and comfort for tourists. At this moment, only 15-seater minivan: Toyota Hi Ace running between Battambamg and Phnom Penh.

Can't think of yet! You paid what you get, but in return, more than you deserve!!!

Great location. Lovely staff.. A family affair. Had a few issues with the room but they apologised and tried their best to resolve. Received a free scarf upon departure which was really sweet.

It is an old colonial building and is in need of a little TLC. No lift but not an issue for me only 3 floors. Rooms are a bit hit n’ miss. My room had a faulty air con unit( but a great fan which almost compensated. Bathroom had the shower located beyond the toilet and it leaked. I moved to another room ( no issue at all ) and all was perfect. The family will help with any issues and arrange trips out. I would stay again.

Super family run hotel, where everyone is friendly and helpful and with reasonable knowledge of English. They helped me sort out a tuktuk at short notice and they understood more than I did that it would be better for me to have an English speaking driver and so went to great trouble to get me one. Sam was fabulous so don’t hesitate to ask for him, highly recommend the countryside tour with sticky rice, rice paper, rice whiskey etc. My room was traditionally furnished with Cambodian wood furniture which I loved and it was very reasonably priced. The bed and pillows were very comfy, and the aircon efficient, plus there was a kettle for my teabags. The location is fab, with the Art Deco central market within view and then just beyond that to the riverside area, plus it’s close to some great restaurants - Coconut Lyly was my favourite (do the cooking class!), also Jaan Bai and Khmer Delight were pleasing. I was so touched when the family waved me off and gave me a krama scarf to thank me for staying!

super cheap and worth the money, the windows were a bit dusty with a couple of holes in the cracks which we closed up with a bit of tissue but cannot complain at the price, beds were comfy and staff were friendly and can help with tours and buses. a tuk tuk driver called Dara was great he took us round the town including bat cave and bamboo train and all drinks and some food for $25 per person he was great highly recommend - just message him on WhatsApp on +855 15 776 769 and book a day with him he will take you everywhere and was great

Centrally located and beautiful, spacious room with French colonial style furniture and architecture. The price was great rate and we thought it a bargain. We loved the balcony although there was no seating. Tge shower was hot and the mattress was very comfortable. we had a great night sleep. Although a little dated we loved it as all part of its charm and character. Reception staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. They organised our transfer and tours. We would highly recommend and stay here again.

Nothing.

Location near the market, local shops, even a KFC, Starbucks and a CP fresh supermarket, and not far from the river. The owners spoke good English. Staff were flexible and went out of their way to be helpful and guide us as needed. Good view and breeze from the roof floor (restaurant not opened yet) [Hotel has been closed for 2 years due to pandemic]. There is a good massage shop next door with blind massage therapists. English-speaking TukTuk drivers were around to help us get here and there. We also used the PassApp for booking TukTuks.

The hotel is recovering from the pandemic and seems to be be getting back into action, and they are slowly opening more rooms. There seemed to be a shortage of staff. I found dust under the beds, on top of the wardrobe and in some of the drawers. It was not obvious, it was out of sight, and I didn't notice it for a couple of days. I informed the management and they were sincerely apologetic and will definitely attend to it. It seemed to be a problem with the untrained, new, or lack of cleaning staff. I'm sure it is OK now... This would not stop me from staying there in the future.

Fab old style hotel, great location near the centre of town and market. Lovely helpful, friendly, and informative staff - they helped with all our questions as well as moped hire direct and domestic bus tickets. Hot water shower, good size room, comfy bed, fridge, TV, A/C and a very reasonable price. Would recommend and happily stay again!

Nothing really. Great view from the rooftop terrace but unfortunately the hot tub wasn't operating due to low guest numbers after COVID. Please support lovely traditional family run hotels like this!
