Ambient oasis in the heart of Siem Reap. Our little apartment felt like home. We loved the decor, the saltwater pool, the staff were a delight, everything felt very personal and we felt like we could stay here for a month or two if time allowed. Restaurant, coffee, and food all great too. Absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again when returning to Siem Reap

Had a cold shower the whole time. I got them to look at it day 1 ... they said I wasn't turning the handle properly, day 2 same thing, day 3 we had to all stand at the shower to see that it wasnt going hot. They then tried but couldn't fix it, so a full 5 days cold showers. We didn't mind too much because it was hot outside anyway, but there was no offer to compensate or change room which I think would've been the right thing to do.

The Rambutan Resort is a lovely beautiful oasis down a very quiet road in downtown Siem Reap opposite the Night Market and a short walk to Pub Street (if you really want to go there!). It’s surrounded by some lovely restaurants and bars too. Our room was amazing - choose the deluxe room with the rooftop terrace if you can! I definitely recommend this as the terrace is huge and a great place to rest. The shower and bathtub is a bonus! Our door was one step away from the pool … we couldn’t fault our room location at all, but it’s not a big hotel so any room would have been in a great location. The onsite restaurant is wonderful - we had our best meal in Cambodia here - and the bar serves a wide range of drinks and cocktails at really good prices. The staff are great and we felt welcomed and comfortable straight away. It is a quiet hotel, but this is a perfect base for relaxation after busy days touring the local area.

Rambutan Resort is a little oasis in the middle of Siem Reap. The city is still recovering from the pandemic, but at Rambutan, you can’t tell. The service is exceptional, the facilities are well-cared for, and the food was very good. We particularly liked coming home from a long day to lounge at the bar or by the beautiful pool with a cocktail. The restaurant, bar, and pool are all grouped together in a cozy courtyard between the buildings. We will definitely return next time we find ourselves in Siem Reap. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Overall, a great Hotel with very nice and passionate staff that will help you any way possible. The pool is nice and it's great to have a Restaurant that provides a wonderful Breakfast and Coffees. It's also in a nice quiet location that is easy to walk to the more active part of town.

It would be nice to have a Smart TV that allows for international Apps like Youtube, Netflix... or at least an international News English speaking news station on the TV. Without, the TV provides no value to English speaking visitors.

I had an excellent surprise in Rambutan Resort : it is perfectly located in the center of Siem Reap, yet in a very quiet street. The staff was amazingly nice and helpful. The restaurant offers a large choice of delicious meals and drinks, as well as many options for breakfast. There are two swimming pools with few people around it and I had an excellent massage. The staff can arrange a tour and it is very easy and comfortable ; I took a tuk tuk and a guide to visit Angkor and as I went early in the morning, they prepared a small breakfast box for me (if you plan on visiting Angkor at sunrise, just know you won't be alone there... I don't think it is worth standing there for a whole hour, waiting for the sun to come up, surrounded by hundreds of people ; you should go during lunch time). The hotel and the room were very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There is a special attention to sustainability, which is welcome.

The bedroom is divided in two floors by a very steep and dangerous staircase. It is not fit for elderly people. The swimming pool area at the Villa is a little neglected, it could be better (though it's OK but compared to the Resort area, there is a noticeable difference).

We stayed in a deluxe suite with terrace, which had a stone tub on the shaded and quite private patio, and included a complementary breakfast. Our room was very clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable.. The hotel had a lovely pool area surrounded by lush greenery, with an open-air bar/restaurant poolside, which served great food and cocktails at pretty reasonable prices. The hotel was also conveniently located for all the sights we wanted to see and, with the exception of the airport was never more than a $4 USD tuktuk ride from anything. The best part about this hotel, however, is it's staff. They are friendly, exceptionally polite, and will do whatever they possibly can to accommodate you - early check-in, extra pillows, room service, arranging taxis and tuktuks, whatever you need. For example, one morning when we had a 4:30am tour pickup, the staff arranged for us to have the complementary breakfast boxed up to take with us. We loved our stay at Rambutan and would highly recommend it.

I travel a lot and somehow i can say, that this is the best resort i’ve ever stayed. It is all about the special vibe created by the hotel staff. the service is really exceptional, people just so nice, positive and fun! i cannot even say it was a 5stars service, it was even better - time around really caring people! keep going! and of course, hotel decoration, style, rooms view are also perfect! food in the restaurant is very tasty!!! one of the best Curry we tried in South Eastern Asia :) i wish you all the best, thanks for the time!

may be water in the pool might be a bit cleaner. but it is minor comparing to the positive experience overall

I would definitely recommend a stay at this lovely hotel. It's very well situated and has a tranquil feel while still being right near the centre. It's the perfect place to get some rest after long days exploring around Angkor. The rooms are beautiful and decorated with care. The restaurant is really good as well, so instead of exploring the centre I couldn't resist but to dine here two days in a row. The breakfast options are varied and tasty. Staff are great and super friendly and accommodating. The hotel also provided a take out breakfast for when I went on a very early sunrise tour to Angkor Wat.

Location, atmosphere, pool, staff, food, drinks, spa. Basically everything except for mosquitos!

The stairs to rooftop terrace are a bit steep for me so I would choose another room type when we go back to Siem Reap. This is not hotel’s fault but my only regret is not to have used mosquito repellent until the day before we checked out. After I got 50+ bites, I finally bought it from nearby supermarket.

Wonderful hotel! Located in a quiet alley in a nice neighborhood, just south of the Siem Reap River, a five minute stroll from the busy center (Psar Chaa). Our room was truly beautiful! Very comfortable and spacious, with a pleasantly cool sitting area and cozy balcony on the first floor (looking down at the swimming pool and the lush garden) and a huge bedroom and attractive bathroom on the second. Everything was in very good condition and finished into the last detail. Really everything (in the entire hotel) has been carefully thought about, when it comes to interior and design. A perfect balance that radiates peace and simplicity. Rambutan Resort & Hotel is a lovely, small-scale accommodation, spread over two adjacent addresses - ‘resort’ vs. ‘hotel’ - each with its own swimming pool, restaurant and reception (but with the same staff). We stayed in the slightly smaller 'hotel' and we were certainly happy with that: just slightly quieter and more intimate than the 'resort'. A delicious and plentiful breakfast was included in our room rate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We 100% enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again next time.

The only downside (which the hotel cannot help) was that at night - when everything else was quiet - you could hear the low bass tunes from one of the bars in Psar Chaa until after 03:00 am… For hotel guests (like us) earplugs help a lot, but I think this must be terrible for the Cambodian people around.
