The hotel was spotless, there was cleaning staff and maintenance around at all times, they did failing cleaning of our room (we were there for 5 days). The staff was so incredibly kind and they could always be found around wiping banisters, vacuuming, everything was really well cared for and service was wonderful. The breakfast was probably the best Continental I've ever had a full bacon, eggs, hash browns with fresh veggies and fruit, yogurt and oatmeal, french toast or pancakes the list goes on. Again the staff was attentive and kind. Everything was hot fresh and full even at peak hours when the dining room was filled to capacity. Overall it was a fantastic hotel with super comfy beds, great pillows (I'm so picky about pillows that I brought my own and didn't need it) in a clean environment. The open concept is very very cool, but gets a little bit of noise transfer in the morning when everyone is heading down for breakfast so I was woken up between 730 -830 every day BC I could hear a quiet dim of dishes chiming in the dining hall. Not bad compared to some hotels where you can hear everything from the rooms around you. We will definitely keep this hotel in mind for future stays to Calgary.

The pool is very small, a little cold and the hot tub is teeny tiny only allowing 4-6 people depending on the 2 posted signs. So I wouldn't rent this hotel based on that alone, but it was nice to have after some of our outings.

The breakfast was great! They did a wonderful job of keeping the dishes stocked through the morning and offering plenty of variety and high quality ingredients. The staff was courteous and efficient whisking away dirty dishes and replenishing all the offerings. We ate dinner several times in the restaurant/ bar. The food there was good as well, good variety, nice touches like quality salads with fresh greens, 5 toppings and house made dressing. The service was also very courteous and efficient.

At night it was not as quiet as I would have liked but it was tolerable. There was a low rumble of traffic and vehicles idling (it was the front of the building). The area did not have much within walking distance except the University, a Denny’s, and a strip mall with a couple of restaurants. The greatest convenience was that there is a C train station a 5 minute walk from the hotel so you can get downtown easily for $3.60 per 90 minutes or buying a day pass for $11.25.

The rooms are big and clean with nice room service. The location of the hotel is also very strategic and close to everything. Breakfast buffet was an added bonus with really big quantities and a nice variety of food for a small added fee, so definitely good value for the money.

The pool was too small, smaller than what it looks in the picture. Also the receptionist was not friendly at all and very inflexible with the check in and check out times, not very hospitable!

Breakfasts included: very good

shower: weird design. The controls for the shower were difficult to access. Usually, there are 2 sliding doors. The shower controls are on the left side of the bathtub, and the left "door" was immobile and therefore not "sliding". So we had to reach the controls only from the right sliding door, which made it difficult. This resulted in us getting hit with either cold or hot water when trying to turn on the shower! I remarked to my wife that this was likely designed by a man, not a woman ! LOL

We loved our stay at this hotel! After a terrible experience at another hotel on our first night in the city, we moved to this hotel and have been so happy for the remainder of our stay. The staff have been so helpful, the room was clean and very spacious, and the restaurant for breakfast and the lounge are both really good! We also loved the design of the hotel, it was cool how it was all an open courtyard, as compared to the traditional hallways with rooms on either side. The open side window of the elevator was so cool too! We will for sure stay here again and have recommended already to others!!

Staff was very professional, prompt, friendly, and courteous! I forgot some items but live over 8 hours away by car. The staff was kind I’m enough to inform me of the left behind items by phone and helped arable them to be delivered back to me.

More of a personal preference (and I don’t bring it to the hotels attention so it’s entirely possible this could have been fixed) but the pillows were, for me, a little of the soft side.

Very clean and comfortable spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Location is great. Extremely positive experience overall.

The pool in the atrium is extremely loud - although it does shut down at 9pm. No sleeping in - it’s open again in the morning and the yelling echoes. However, it’s just people having fun in the pool. Popped in the ear plugs when it got to be a bit much. I’d still come back as my experience here was 95% positive.

Spaceous room, view on Calgary's skyline. Swimming pool and hot tub in the middle of the hotel was nice, and great use of floor space. Great (complimentary) breakfast with fresh pancakes, scrambled eggs with toppings, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Clean. Bed comfortable. Climate control good. Located on walking distance from (restaurants) Banff Trail metro line.

Minor variation at breakfast, but was surely sufficient to enjoy for some days. The door was not fully soundproof, with some corridor sounds coming into the room during daytime.

Nice breakfast and polite staff. The room is comfortable and clean. The location is quite near the BandfTrail station of C-Train, about 20 mins to get to the city center, very convenient!

The door of rooms cannot block the noise. Our room is in front of the stairs, and there were some residents staying at the stairs and chatting or talking to the phone at the midnight, and we can clearly hear what they said, which is quite annoying.

The property was easy to get to and in a good location. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our first room when we entered smelled like smoke and they moved us right away.

Our room wasn’t very clean. My son dropped something on the floor and when he reached for it under the bed he came up with garbage from under the bed. And some of the garbage was a condom wrapper.
