Great service from Anna at reception, lovely personality and welcoming. We needed a kettle and she arranged for one. Good breakfast. Refreshing iced tea and fresh cookies available in lobby every day which my teens loved! Gym had limited machines and unfortunately no weights. Room was decent size and clean. Pool was used by teens but is probably more suited to younger kids. Good view of three sisters mountains from room window, albeit a little obscured with the lobby roof. Great restaurant options nearby (walking distance) including halal shawarma and indian place. Good amenities nearby such as petrol station, supermarket etc.

Pool could be bigger. More breakfast options. More healthy options available at breakfast such as egg whites, omelette, boiled eggs, or even halal options if possible.

Great Location. Close to everything. Waterslide was a big hit with our kid. Free charging our electric car overnight was a bonus. The staff is very nice.

Breakfast was appreciated, however they could change it a day so that guests staying 1+ day can eat something different. We ate the same breakfast for 3 continuous days. A washer already had "Out of Order" on it and one of the dryer ate up a cycle's quarters, started the cycle, but did not dry clothes, ultimately we had to re do the cycle twice in the dryer next to it. The clothes still didn't dry so we had to air dry them all over our room ultimately. Can get their appliances repaired.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a good selection

The breakfast buffet and dining area was poorly organized and too small for the size of the hotel. This meant that the line was easily 10-20 minutes to select the food you wanted. The hotel also seemed somewhat worn and lacked some maintenance. one of the ice machines was not working, one of the washing machines was also out of order, the carpets on the stairs were patched with docktap, the exercise bike could not be used as the saddle was loose and could not be tightened

The hotel is quite nice. It's located on the verge of Canmore, but you can walk to the center by foot or 5 min. drive. I liked the room - it was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. And bathroom was spacious as well. The breakfast was good - enough of everything.

My only complain would be about the breakfast room - it's too small for all the travelers who stayed in the hotel. You need to add chairs at least as there is not a lot of room for additional tables.

Spacious room, plenty of table and luggage space. Air-con worked well. Shower/bathtub were great. Pool and water slide were nice. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

The main problem with this hotel is the design. There is only one elevator, which is not sufficient for the size of the hotel, especially during breakfast and checkout times. And the stairs are inconveniently located at the far ends of the building. The breakfast buffet was also terrible, having a limited selection of poor quality food. After the first day, we only used it for juice. But given that most hotels in the area do not include breakfast, I would not consider this a negative. Overall, this was still our favorite hotel we stayed during our 10 days in Canada.

The pool was so warm and the facilities were very clean. They always made sure there were fresh towels. The Sauna worked perfectly. The room was clean and laid out nicely. I absolutely loved seeing Rocky Mountain Soap products in the bathroom. Supporting local and being more sustainable is my love language.

My own teeny frustration was with the breakfast situation. You couldn’t take even a cup of coffee up to your room all food and beverage had to be consumed in the breakfast room but most mornings there were not enough tables or space for entire families with babies. We were downstairs shortly after 7 and got the last table, I ended up feeling bad and we left so that another family could have our table.

It was a spacious and comfortable room, they accomodated us with a pet friendly and ground floor room so we could have our little dog with us. The only thing that should be done in the room we were in is to have a bath handle re installed for easier ability to get out of the bathtub, I have a bad knee and found it a struggle to get out of tub without a hand grip on tub surround. I noticed that there use to be one, it needs to be replaced to help anyone else with disabilities. Breakfast being included was great, which was the biggest reason why I selected this hotel, there was good selection and hot choices, it's nice to have a decent breakfast as many hotels in the past offer cold hard boiled eggs and toast or cereal. Staff were very good friendly and welcoming. Front entrance offered hot chocolate and cookies which was very awesome and good to. It was our first time being in Canmore, we really enjoyed the town, the sights and the friendly people, lots of stores, restaurants and good food. We will definitely be back to visit this great place. Anyone with kids will LOVE the waterside and pool. This is definitely a great place for families 🥰

The safety bar for bathroom tub needs to be installed.

Great price paid for what we get in Canmore area. Clean & large room with microwave & fridge, A/C & fireplace all functions well. Good size bright bathroom with lots of counter space! Natural body wash, shampoo, & lotion provided . Water pressure is excellent. Love the clean pool area & slides! Appreciate the free breakfast with hot food & attentive servers! Front desk people are friendly & helpful.

Beware of the slow elevator, you’ll need more than normal time to get up & down.

We have stayed there a few times its kind of our go to place.We always enjoy the pool & waterside!! The continental breakfast is amazing!! We always look for one included in our accommodations. We love the area & scenery in Canmore. We really like having the fireplace in the room and love the floors. No carpet is great!!

We did not like the location of our room at all. It was freezing. We understand the air has to be circulated BUT the cold air from the vent outside our door blew right through into our room. This also kept the heater running constantly. I actually stuffed paper in the door & put towels on the floor. Perhaps some work on the door area would help with this. I was told we can have a note put in our file asking not to be put in any end of hall rooms again. Don't think the Keriug coffee machine worked either.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pocaterra Hotel! It's a simple yet charming hotel in a great location just outside of Canmore. The breakfast was sensational, and the pool with waterslide was a huge hit with our kids - it was the perfect way to end each day with some fun! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend Pocaterra Hotel to families or anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the Canadian Rockies.
