The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The location is good for downtown events. The people at this hotel make it worth the stay. They are very genuine and will try to accommodate all needs. They put our whole family on the same floor - was so nice! Great value for the price.

Parking costs extra and the lot was full, so difficult to keep a spot. The towels aren’t the fluffiest. That’s something I would suggest to management to improve. Also, the outside windows needed to be cleaned so we could have had a better view of the lovely river valley.

Property is getting in age, some areas of bathrooms, walls etc. may need refurbishing, but overall comfort of room was good. Both main elevators were under maintenance during our stay and we had to use the back elevator, would have had a better experience.

Exceptional customer service where nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast service by Tiki was some of the best we've received anywhere. It's Alaska - expect a bit rough and ready. That's just where you are in the world. Great space in the bedroom with well-sectioned-off spaces providing quiet spaces and a homey feel unusual in a hotel. All room amenities you would expect in a hotel and for this price. Had a great stay and would recommend.

Location was perfect. Our event was at the Convention Centre which is right next door. There was a mix up with our room (king) but they gave us a different room (2 queens) with a good view and breakfast.

We didn't get the room we booked. They didn't let us know when we checked in. Would have preferred heads up rather than getting to the room and calling down to get things figured out. Parking is expensive and interesting.

A little bit outdated inside, a touch up might be useful. But I love the comfy bed, spacious rooms, great view of the North Saskatchewan river, right at the heart of Edmonton, City view, everything is right in the short walking distance, little Casablanca small restaurant right there. The view from the Hotel restaurant is a awesome with big windows and the partio is sooooo romantic.

Parking fees is extremely high ($30+.... per night?) Like any other downtown hotel, you may run into street people ( homeless) just outside the hotel :( The restaurant doesn't have the deal the advertised on this site 9 ( $18.00 for lunch/breakfast etc....) This is a misrepresentation :( and misleading

Thermostat works really well. The receptionists were nice. They were able to accommodate my requests. Location was convenient. We didn’t have any issue with parking cause there are about three parking spaces outside. The view from our room is beautiful. If you’ve heard about the 100 Street Funicular it’ll take you five mins walk to get there and can see it from your room if you’re getting one with the city view.

I have this habit of taking off the sheets and fold it before leaving the room, and saw a bunch of black hairs under the sheets. I have a blonde hair so Im positive that wasn’t mine. I know I should check it before sleeping on it but I was too tired to do it. Im just hoping they did change and wash them.

Check in was so quick and friendly! I asked for early check in they upgraded me to a room with a beautiful view and two queen beds instead of my booked king room. Which was fine by me 😀 Most definitely will book with Marriot in the future!!!

The ceiling by the door has a ventilation fan I assume which was a bit loud but I am a super light sleeper.

Our room location was incredible. Beautiful room with entire wall of windows overlooking the river. Absolutely lovely and a wonderful location that was essentially a 15 minute drive from everything, and there were excellent dining options within a couple blocks for all meals.

We stayed in this room for four nights and our room was not cleaned/serviced once during our stay. We actually had to ask after the third night for more toilet paper and clean towels. Very disappointing.

Room was comfortable and fairly close to our venue, so we were able to walk. Breakfast was good and staff wonderful- both at check in/out and in restaurant

I thought $40 for parking was way too steep. We wanted to book supper for the 6 of us on arrival night but patio was closed.

No place to park to check in. Paid expensive tower parking next door. Check in and they tell me parking is cheaper through the hotel. Umm….I’m supposed to park in the street, check in, and then get a parking pass? Maybe tower shouldn’t make you pay until after check in instead of before.
