Fantastic rooms with good facilities. The beds were very comfy, the bathrooms were spotlessly clean and I liked the double sinks. The sitting room was useful as we went with a group and could all sit together. Pat on Reception was helpful and polite. He allowed us to check in a bit early which was really kind. Fantastic restaurant on site, delicious food and superb waiting staff (especially Mandy).
The balconies faced over the car park or the main road so did not sit out. Air con was efficient but noisy.

The room and the washrooms were very clean. I was not expecting our loft suit would have a half washroom in addition to a full bathroom. It was a pleasant surprise as we were visiting with in-laws. The loft suit provided a bit of privacy although we were staying in one room. loved it.
I would like to have access to the loft suits from the front road instead of walking all the way to the back side. Also there was no pathway that led to the back side of the hotel from the front.

This property is gorgeous, clean and centrally located. The room was spacious and more than accommodating for our group of 4. The balcony was a nice, sweet touch and extension of the living space. The front desk host, Pat, was very helpful and answered all of our questions about staying in Waterton. I would absolutely stay here again!
It was a bit pricey but we traveled in peak season so I completely understand the pricing. It was worth it!

Location - right in middle of town, restaurants, stores, lake all within 1-3 minute walk. Room (romantic suite) - Like-new, fully renovated (nice look/feel). Perfectly clean. King bed comfortable. Were able to control temperature / keep it cool given that it was hot while we were there. Small balcony is nice extra. Bathroom (water pressure and hot water good - all we ask for ... better than most hotels we experienced during our trip). Staff - Didn't have much interaction, but front desk person was really friendly/helpful with restaurant recommendations. Again, it was really clean, so kudos to housekeeping! Definitely exceeded our expectations given poor historical reviews. PS - LOVED THIS LITTLE TOWN -- people really friendly, good restaurants/food, and loved our hike of the truly epic Cathew-Alderson route! Not nearly the crowds of Glacier Nat'l, Banff/Lake Louise.
Fireplace (even with just pilot light on) and what felt like heated floors is perfect in winter, but it required us to run the A/C on high (or crack door to our balcony), so we were totally comfortable/cool, but not exactly energy efficient. Hotel has clearly renovated/upgraded from its past, but outside "motel" entrance to rooms, cheaply constructed stairwells/outdoor flooring suggest Bldg was cheaply constructed originally, but that really was a small thing given how many positives (above). Plus most hotels in Waterton are older, cheaper and/or don't have A/C which was a must for us. Closed restuarant/no breakfast was no problem with us given some great restuarants/coffee shops within 1-3 min walk.

WOW what a room - seriously beautiful (newly remodeled) and also spacious, the photos speak for themselves. We had a fireplace, soaking tub, balcony, two sinks – one inside the bathroom and one out, refrigerator… Everything we could possibly need. Would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. We also stayed at the Prince of Wales the following night and were highly disappointed and wish we had booked two nights at Waterton Glacier Suites!
Property looks a bit underwhelming from the outside, but the room more than makes up for it. Wish the balcony had more of a view, we had a sliver view of the water and Prince of Wales.

Great location right in town. Waterton was great for beautiful winter scenery. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was windy and snowy.
We fought to find a comfortable temperature between the loft and main floor. Steps and parking area did have some ice. On-site restaurant was not kid-friendly and expensive.

We loved the King Suite at Waterton Glacier Resort. The rooms have been fully renovated and are comfortable and have a lovely asthetic. They are spacious suites and the fireplace in both the bedroom and living room is a very nice touch. It was rainy overnight and it was lovely to sit by the fire and enjoy the sounds of the rain.
Long after we had turned off the fireplace, the room was still quite warm. We couldn't seem to figure out how to regulate the temperature, however, I'm sure if we had of asked at the front desk they could have remedied the problem for us.

The rooms are absolutely beautiful! Very recently updated and very clean! Location is great with walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in town. A/C is a bit noisy. Was disappointed the restaurant onsite wasn’t open yet as it looks equally as beautiful.
Just wish on-site restaurant was open

The suite setup worked perfectly for our little family. The area between the living room and the bedroom made it possible for us to put the baby to sleep in his crib in the living room and still have enough separation to keep the tv and the lights on in the bedroom.
The air conditioning was either way too cold or just a fan. The middle options didn’t seem to work. It was not much of a problem since we were in the middle of a heat wave so too cold felt kinda nice.

We were bumped up to the Romantic Suite, to celebrate an overnight birthday stay. The room was more than we expected, with a soaker tub, fireplace, and a king size bed. Management and staff were courteous and accommodating.
We didn't like the fact that we only had time to spend one night. Next time, we plan to stay longer!
