I loved the location—it is just two blocks from the lake and one block from the town area. The staff was helpful and easy to talk with. With had two issues where we had to call for help and the help came immediately to solve the problem. This is a quaint older property so don't expect brand new Hilton or even a Marriot. It is comfortable and obviously the owners are trying to upgrade as they can. I would stay there again.

The internet is ridiculously slow and sometimes nonexistent, and this mainly affects the TV. They just got a new TV system; however, it might have been better to leave the smart TV alone and let people use their own Netflix, Apple TV, and Amazon accounts. That being said, we were not there for the TV, but we did want to watch TV at night while we relaxed before going to bed.

Rather like this place. Have stayed here before and would do so again. The overall appearance of the place seems a little worn / neglected, but the rooms themselves are clean, comfortable and functional. Just love the town of Waterton which, despite some tattered edges, is a joy to behold.

Could use some more signage to help provide better directions to each individual room. The exterior of the property could benefit from some tidying up but winters are long and hard here so that understandably takes a toll on the place.

The Room was very well kept, Beds were incredibly soft with probably the whitest sheets I've ever come across. Very Quiet place and most relaxing sleep we ever had. Bathroom was well equipped, towels and soaps with all other main conveniences. Hot water on demand was incredible, with a good balance of cold when needed on the hot days. If room needs turning over and fresh towels etc. Just leave the maid service sign on the door. Location was a step away from all the amenities, and a 2 minute walk to the lake. The Food at Vinny's was very good, Tried 6 overall dishes and appetizers and enjoyed all of them. Thanks for a great 4 days

The service at Vinny's Restaurant and Bar was pretty awesome overall, But one girl kept wandering off and we waited about 15 minutes to pay after she collected the dishes one night.

I was expecting the lodge to be a bit overpriced for what we paid, but was pleasantly surprised at how nice the accommodations were. The room looked like it had been recently remodeled, and I was very pleased with our stay. Great water pressure for the shower, comfortable beds, plenty of towels and a nice little balcony. The restaurant was actually a good value for the money, too, and since we were guests of the lodge, we also got 10% off our meals.

The recreation center, pool & sauna were all closed because they were being redone.

Stayed in the First Nations House cabin. The room was lovely, very cosy and warm. We had a king bed which was super comfy. Big bathroom with lots of space. Location was right in the centre of town, just a short walk to get coffee/dinner/the water. Definitely would stay again!

Jacuzzi bath tub jets didn't work, unfortunately. Also didn't realize there was AC until the morning, got a little warm in the room overnight.

Room was clean- the sloping roof & rather small size gave a slight cramped feel though Walking to a very nice pizza / breakfast place just outside Walking to the lake

Strangely bag of garbage and mop etc in the middle of the corridor at the entrance to our unit - remained till we left next morning

The room was small in space but it was all we really needed. The bed was very comfortable, the jetted tub was awesome, and the shower was a great size. We loved the view and location and would stay in this “house” again.

The hallway and stairs were quite dirty, as were the floors in the room. We didn’t have any soap and when we asked for some, the cleaning staff said they would have to go check stock but never got back to us. The property needs some upgrading on some of the houses, but ours was good. Maybe some instructions on how to work the fire place and tv system would be helpful.

We upgraded to a King size room the second night which was extra special for our family with a jacuzzi tub. Location is excellent. Front desk staff were pleasant. I felt so bad for the service staff as they were constantly running to keep up. The impact of not having enough staff was evident but they didn't miss a beat. This location is a 2 minute walk from the info centre and spray/play park.

I signed an agreement that if you loose a room key, you pay $25. I never lose room keys!! However, when we were leaving I had some pizza boxes in my hand to through in the dumpster and a room key slipped out of my hand and went in with the boxes. I could see where it went, just couldn't reach it and dumpster wasn't full. I went immediately to the front desk and the customer service rep went out with me so I could show her where the key was. She said she'd ask maintenance to look for it so would charge me the $25 and reimburse once they found it. Well, I got charged the $25. That was a little frustrating to end the trip on that note.

Convenient location, lots of space, great facilities for hikers including a fridge, and staff with interesting hiking recommendations. There is an onsite restaurant that is reasonably priced and serves good hearty food. The bathroom was new and large with both a bath and stand alone shower.

The room and communal areas were a little dark and would benefit from a refresh.
