This place is basically a very large one-bedroom apartment right across from Harrison Lake in the main downtown area of Harrison Hot Springs. There is a separate bedroom, a bed in the main area, a sofa bed, dining room and full kitchen. It is surprisingly spacious and fairly well-kept. You could sleep up to six here. It was also quiet and private. My son and I could take public transit from Vancouver all the way here. There are a number of restaurants nearby.
The bathroom door was difficult to close, and transportation away from the area is difficult without a car on a Sunday or holiday Monday outside of peak season. We took a cab to Chilliwack, then a public bus.

Our recent stay at the Harrison Spa Motel was very enjoyable. The location is excellent, providing convenient access to the surrounding area. Within the motel, you'll find the Basecamp Burger Joint and the Picnic Cafe that serves tasty ice cream. As guests, you can enjoy a 15% discount at both the burger place and the cafe, which was a nice bonus. As soon as we arrived, Leki warmly welcomed us, and he, along with the girl at the check-in office, ensured we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Parking was available inside the vicinity for a minimal fee, adding to the convenience. Overall, our experience at Harrison Spa Motel was pleasant, and we recommend it for a comfortable and welcoming stay.
A bit on the expensive side for a motel stay, possibly due to the summer weekend rates.

clean room I used to be a housekeeper for vacation homes so I know what I am looking at when I enter a room... the mattress looked fairly new ,sheet clean and crisp with a tight properly made triple sheet bedding, We had a queen with a bunk which was a great idea for family's traveling with kids. bathroom was clean I checked .. and the towels were hung nice and in great condition with no stains coffee maker microwave and fridge were all there and only used the coffee maker .. usual hotel sounds but the parking is a bit tight ... but we got it in .
parking was tight

The location of the hotel in the resort town of Harrison Hot Springs at the base of Lake Harrison, is beautiful. The lake and surrounding area is amazing. Although the hotel itself is very dated, my room was very clean. At the adjacent Basecamp restaurant/cafe, the food and staff were both excellent. A 15% discount is available to Hotel guests.
Parking was limited and crowded. At times over my 5 day stay, when there were larger cars and trucks parked, it was very difficult to drive in and out of the very narrow driveway and parking spaces.

The staff made sure to call us and give us details, as we were checking in late. The Christmas light up right outside was beautiful. It was nice having 3 beds in 1 room instead of the regular 2 big beds, kids were happy to have their own bed. Walkable to restaurants.
Instead of a phone call from staff for check-in information an email would have been better as we were in and out of service.

Great location right on the water. The motel is a bit dated but very clean. It was perfect for a weekend in Harrison hot springs. You get 15% off food at the base camp cafe below which is fantastic (great food and staff!). Good value for money although not cheap. It had everything we needed. Bunk beds for the kids, bed was comfy. Coffee maker, tv, small bathroom, mosquito nets on windows! There were signs to be quiet between 9pm-9am which is helpful.
Smells from cafe below are strong. We kept the front window closed and only opened back window. Which was fine in May. In full summer it might have bothered me more.

Location is fabulous. The beach is across the street. A quick walk to Harrison Village, and restaurants. "Base Camp" food is excellent, (attached to the motel, and offers %15 discount to guests) . Rooms are always clean, and bathrooms sparkling. Cable TV with Roku (a nice surprise).
NOTE: The rooms located in the front half of the motel are roomier. The back half rooms are smaller, but very comfortable.

I loved that it was right across from the lake. It's in the middle of everything. A restaurant is attached to it that gave superb tasty meals and plentiful!! Also cause we were staying at motel 15% off the food. Great value all around!!! They also have a grassed area with a new bbq and a gas fireplace and lots of chairs and a 3 picnic tables! A great feature!!
Rooms and complex were super clean but the building itself needs some updating. But I think they are doing bit by bit from what I saw! But still very comfortable and secure!!

Clean, comfy, and compact. The location could not be better: directly across from the lake. The is incredible value for money. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable. If you intend you spend your time outside, this is the perfect location. There is a little picnic table and seating area outside when the weather is good. We’ll be back.
It is a motel. It is dated. You should not expect a 5 star hotel.

Close your beach
They were cutting down trees in parking area and my car was covered in wood chips and sawdust. It was horrible. The office had my car description and plate never asked me to move my car. No one seemed to care. Also early noise from the saw woke us up. Then I got a phone call saying I never turned in my key. When I left it on the office counter. Very annoying
