The rooftop hot tub was absolutely fabulous. We booked it for sunset and we weren't disappointed 😁 There's no elevator, so pack light. Staff was very kind and assisted me with my bags. Also, nespresso (coffee) machines in the room #amazing Beautiful showers (multi head sprayers) and heated bathroom floors and towel racks...❤

No parking at the hotel, there's 2 or 3 (pay) street parking spaces. free hotel parking is 5ish blocks away, I elected to park in the pay parking structure next to the Hume hotel 2 (blocks away) as its very secure. (I feel anyway) No elevator...although staff are happy to assist you.

The service from Ben, and his staff was outstanding. We asked for help and advice and they were most accommodating. The location was great so close to town. Parking was allocated for 8 out of 11 rooms which was good for us, as we arrived early.

Saturday night is nightclub night, so earplugs were necessary. There is a general common lounge area which, on our night, was noisy due to patrons having a party. We were in room 11, which is small, as the web page advises and has a tiny window, more of a skylight. The bathroom has a good window with views of the mountains.

The bathroom was fantastic and we loved all the updates and character brick walls. The rooftop hot tub was so nice after a busy day exploring the city. The manager and staff were amazing, so welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Being right on Baker Street we were able to walk and find anything we needed and the beach is a short drive away! The bed was super comfy as well!

Rooms are a bit small but the large common area and all the character more than make up for it!

location was great, nice roof top patio, nice common area on the 2nd floor for the guests to enjoy instead of sitting in your room. Bed was comfy

Room was very small. The bed was by the door - the there is very clearance from the door and the bed. Only one person can come in or get out. You have to close the door and move away for the second person to enter or exit the room. Could be dangerous during an emergency event.

The location is key. Within walking distance to all the trendy downtown stores and restaurants. The room was modern with a touch of original brick building. The bathroom had heated floors and towel racks, great shower and awesome shampoo and conditioner, invigorating! The bed was comfortable, good tv, room coffee and spacious

The curtain was off the track at the one end and was too tall to fix, so quite bright in room, there needs to be a separate mirror not in the bathroom so someone else could do hair/makeup while shower/ toilet occupied. The hotel has no breakfast at all. The desk clerk was very unhelpful and indifferent. Could not find anyone to check out. No parking. Meter parking on street

This hotel has beautiful facilities and a great location. The rooms are well appointed, and the rooftop is fantastic with great seating, picnic tables, a hot tub and mats and space for yoga. It was a great place for a family gathering. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The place is super pet friendly. All round it was a wonderful stay and place for a family gathering.

The bed in the junior suite seemed to vibrate a little, I think because of the laundry room next door? Also, one of our rooms had food still in the fridge and the duvet cover looked a bit dirty.

Great little boutique hotel at the edge of the CBD. Clean, quiet, quiet AC, comfy beds, good wifi. They're "european" sized rooms overall (fine with us) but the bath is nicely "american" sized (yeah!). In exchange for room space, there's a central common guest lounge with comfy armchairs (the rooms are around the outside) and a bonus fantastic rooftop patio with lots of seating and views of the town / lake / surrounding vista. Plethora of both dinner and breakfast options within 3-4 blocks (do walk, its a cute town).

As it explicitly states, there is no elevator. But its only 1 floor up and the staircase is nice and wide so it's not really a problem (just be aware). The only real downside is that there is only street parking (metered, coins only), though lots of it, which kicks in at 9am (until 5 pm) so make sure to plug the meter when you head out for breakfast.

The rooms are very nicely decorated; spacious; well laid out, clean and quiet. The bed and pillows were so very comfortable, and the room felt more like an upscale apartment than a hotel suite. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe at this property and the staff was pleasant and prompt to respond to my requests. I look forward to returning to this lovely boutique hotel!

As with about 95% of all accommodations in Nelson, parking is an issue. However, this hotel is on the quieter end of Baker Street therefore you are more likely to find easier access to parking. However, it was not that much of an inconvenience.

Great location and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is quite small so it was quite quiet and we saw few other guests. There were a number of restaurants attached to the hotel so a quick bite was very accessible.

The room was a little smaller than a standard hotel room and it did not have a closet. Bathroom was pretty clean, but the shower definitely needed some deep cleaning.

Location was great Roof top hot tub and sauna were lovely.. Bed was comfy Room was nice and very clean Super view

Young man at the front desk upon check in was clearly ready for tourist season to be over. He was not helpful at all or interested in any of the questions my husband asked him, border line rude. The young woman in the morning was delightful!!!!!! Totally redeemed grumpy guts. No parking anywhere and some guy across the street yelling at some people for being in his parking lot for a minute
