We did not make it for the breakfast so I can't comment on that. Location was good. There was a small fridge, hair dryer, and toiletries, in case you didn't bring any. I liked the fact that there was a tub and not just a shower. My daughter liked that there was a TV. We both liked the fact that there was a pool and hot tub but we arrived late and didn't get a chance to enjoy them. There was parking in the back which made it very convenient to access our room.

The breakfast cost extra (they include it at some hotels). The walls are pretty thin because we could hear voices from other hotel rooms and/or in the hallway early in the morning, which woke me up.

Aside from the great location, the fridge and microwave in rooms and a 24h self-serve laundry were important amenities. The pool and hot tub were open but the restaurant was closed. The pool is in a sort of covered courtyard with rooms with sliding glass doors opening on it. I stayed in an outside room and a as glad of the direct sunlight. It was nice to know that this Sandman location has unionized staff who work under a collective agreement negotiated between their union and Sandman's Management. They might cost just a little bit more it their quality of service and friendliness were excellent.

The key cards didn't work well, sometimes even when freshly coded. Front desk had a trainee (with a trainee name tag) on duty when I checked in and for the subsequent three nights who had a bit of difficulty... No major issues, and all inquiries received due consideration from staff my

When booking any hotel, you should be notified in advance, by hotel management if there are major renovations happening at that property, during your stay! When I check-in, I was told my "usual" room on the 3rd floor was "not available", due to the external windows being replaced. Thus, I feel I was "inconvenienced" by having to accept a room on their 2nd floor (i.e. and having to listen to "overnight" traffic noise from a nearby highway).

Customer service clerk was amazing . She was working under very stressful conditions with many people trying to book in for the night after unexpected highway closure . She remained polite , welcoming and professional.She did an exceptional job at dealing with some very disgruntled traveller's.

Great location to get around , staff very friendly, pool and hot tub look amazing, lots of ppl enjoying them . Even though I did get the time to enjoy them myself Extended my over nite to 2nites

Ac could be updated barely keeps the room from being a roaster oven. Had a fan to help circulate the air . Tv doesnt seem to be working tho you wouldnt hear it over tge fan & ac :)

Room was big and clean comfy and lots of place to store in. Pool is beautiful and warm temperature so as the hot tub huge and so relaxing.

We had a small miss step in our room when the power broke down dew to air conditioning and microwave. Aside from that everything when well.

Staff seemed cranky or overworked—not cheery like most places. Check-in/check-out needs to be streamlined—the longest, slowest hotel I have been to in years! Breakfast should be included in price, considering the meager offerings. Again, a weakness.

The building and room was well kept and very nice looking. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Staff were very friendly and pleasant.

Wish I had more time to explore more amenities like the pool and breakfast. Afterwards, I noticed that I didn't get my deposit back even though I prepaid for the room, not sure what happened there. Hoping this can get fixed soon.

Very comfy bed and great bathroom. Cutlery and plates were also much appreciated.

It wasn’t totally clean on the beds and floors, and there were huge AC noises and vibrations from other rooms and outside our room, very difficult to sleep with that, unfortunately.

I liked the hot tub and pool.

The continental breakfast should be included with hotel stay. I've never been charged for breakfast before it's a rip off.
