Location in Squamish is terrific - walking distance to most things we needed. Room was very comfy if a little small and provided all the amenities we needed. Staff (especially the maintenance man) were friendly and helpful. We also picked up a good book on the "Take one leave one" shelf!

Check in was a bit complicated - we had to find someone in the drinks shop next door to say we'd arrived. One bedside light didn't work but they fixed it quickly. The fan in the bathroom was totally blocked by dust which could be a fire hazard, but we didn't see the chap to tell him before we left.

The a/c was CRANKED when I arrived, it was amazing coming inside to an ice cold room after spending the day in 30⁰ heat. the rooms are cozy and have amenities that not even proper hotels have. my room had a mini fridge, a coffee maker, a microwave, great wifi, extra seating, wine glasses and ice bucket !?? a TV with channels and a DVD player(there's a mini library on the second floor that you can use for free) and I didn't have to ask for any of it. it just came standard with the room. out of all the places I expected to go above and beyond I did not expect to treated so well at hotel squamish. it makes every other hotel look bad in comparison. I'm more than excited to return !

Super accessible, lots of parking, super easy and friendly check in. Contactless checkout. Excellent for the value. Great view of the mountains and the new buildings around.

The only downfall for us was the super strong smell of the room, harsh chemical fragrance smell, hard to tolerate for those who may be sensitive to smells like we are.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was good within a short walking distance of restaurants -- and the trails around the estuary where I was pleased to do some birdwatching. Also, I was able to get a booking at the last minute after a long tiring journey.

Squamish is a destination, not only recognized for being situated along one of Canada's most scenic routes, the Sea to Sky Highway, and in close proximity to Vancouver and Whistler, but for world-class recreational pursuits. While travelling to Squamish, due to accident in Sky highway, traffic was blocked for 7 hours and we reached at 3:30 am next day instead of 8:30 pm. Due to proper coordination with staff, we found our room key in a secure locker. Very Special Thanks Squamish Staff

We were looking for a place near whistler that wasn't too expensive and found a great option at the Squamish hotel. In terms of facilities it wasn't anything special, but the beds were comfortable and the shower was pretty decent. Coffee was resupplied daily.

It was quite hot in the room. A fan was supplied, but it would've been nicer if there was some kind of insect screen available so the window could be open during the night.

the room is specified clearly in Booking website as NOISY because on top of a terrace. It was winter time and not much noise. We knew exactly what we bought for the price (they have more expensive rooms too). The room had a wonderful mural, great bed, space for our needs, a quite large fridge and microwave. We needed it to go skiing at Whistler because we can no longer afford accommodations there. We will return for sure! We recommend it for people having same needs as we had. Wifi was great too.

The location was great, lots of restaurants and stores in walking distance. The room was very clean and we were pleasantly surprised to find they had added air conditioners to the rooms.

The bed was caved in in the middle, so we rolled into each other all night. It was hard and soft at the same time. Very uncomfortable!

Central location, although it is currently dominated by a construction site across the road that has closed off some access. Decent basic amenities for an overnight stay. Nice mural painting on the wall.

An old-style hotel and the rooms could do with some updating. Mis-matched old furniture and one of the bedside lamps wasn't working. No comfortable chairs. A few loose fittings and the supply of power access points was a bit dodgy.

Everything was great, it's nothing special for the price, but I think that's just Squamish rates. Nice place to stay within walking distance of a couple of good places to eat and the climbing shop AND the best donuts on the west coast at Fox&Oak

It's crazy expensive for what it is, but I think that's Squamish these days.
