Relatively affordable lodging option within a short bus ride of Stanley Park and the downtown area, as well as North Shore attractions such as Capilano Suspension Bridge, Lynn Canyon Park and Grouse Mountain. There is also a large shopping mall (Park Royal) nearby that could be reached with a healthy 20-minute walk on one of the many walking paths that run along the Capilano River.

Because of COVID-19, breakfasts had to delivered to guest rooms instead of being served in the dining room. The hotel did its best under the circumstances, but we found cheese/pizza sticks and grocery store cookies to be odd choices, to say the least. Fortunately, there was also generally a fruit (apple or banana), a mini-muffin and a croissant in our bags.

The breakfast room is great. Relative good assortment of breakfast food. NICE !

The very early TRAFFIC NOISE !!! I know you can't help that. We had a couple of phone calls in the middle of the night, NO answer ??? Upsetting !! The breakfast HOUR could be extended a little later. Not everybody is on "business" travel or early appointments. We were on medical travel, however my surgery date was moved to a later date. Hence the only one night stay.

Affordable accommodation with comfortable beds. Staff kindly agreed to store our main cases when we t to Vancouver Island for 2 nights, as we were returning to stay a further 2 nights at Vancouver North Hotel.

Carpet needed cleaning. Rest of room clean. Breakfast was in shelter at back. Right by main road, so ask for room away from road if your a light sleeper.

Location was very convenient to the attractions we wanted to visit. To have a microwave and a mini refrigerator in the room was a plus. It would be nice if the ice machine was accessible earlier than 10am or later than 10pm. The place is dated but for the price and location, you can not go wrong. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast to go was an awesome treat to have on the road.

The place looks dated maybe new paint and fix the stairs going to second floor would be good - more for aesthetic than safety.

This is a great place to stay. On the outside it might look a bit old-fashioned and some of the furniture in the room is, as well. But the hotel is undergoing renovations so that‘s not really a problem. I only stayed for one night and didn‘t experience any negative impact from renovations. The room was very spacious and provided sufficient storage, a fridge and also a microwave. The bathroom was very nice as well. A major bonus (and really something I look for in any accommodation): It was extremely clean!! The bed, the bathroom, the surfaces in the room… These guys make sure that everything is cleaned properly. I loved it! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Due to Covid 19 precautions they limit contact to guests as much as possible. But if you have any questions they‘re ready to help you out. At the moment, breakfast is limited to a grab-and-go package which was delivered right to my door. It consisted of many different little things, like croissants, cookies, juice, fruit,… It was sufficient for me on my one night stay. I would definitely stay here again!

The A/C was located in the bedroom and whenever it turned on, it could be relatively loud. Not really something I would rate as negative since it’s a precaution: But the grab-and-go breakfast was very basic. Should I stay here again I‘d be looking forward to their usual (real) breakfast buffet. I had a room on the ground floor which means: You have to make sure to close the curtains almost at all times since there are people walking by.

Good location with a variety of different ethnic restaurants within walking distance. Clean. Friendly front desk.

No breakfast buffet due to Covid restrictions. Bagged breakfast VERY POOR. Same pastries,cookies, mini muffins, Rice Krispie squares, juice,banana&bottled water every day. No protein included! I am registered dietitian. Addition of Yogurt, hard boiled egg or cheese w cereal or granola & sm milk would have been an easy inclusion.

The usual free breakfast offered ham and cheese and croissants, which other places we have stayed do not. We also liked the pillows!, The motel is nowhere near English Bay Beach. The motel was closest to to Ambleside Beach in West Vancouver which we did visit. Check your maps.

Its a nice location not far from downtown. Easy access on the bus if you are commuting, and if you are goin back to the hotel the bus stop is infront of it.

The furniture is a little bit dusty and you can hear the cars passing by.

Located in a peaceful area at North Vancouver and near to some tourist attraction in North Vancouver (Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse mountain). Easy to travel by bus since the bus stop very close to Hotel. Breakfast was okay. From some room there is partial mountain view.

100% as described. Great for one night stay on our way to Whistler. Staff friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast. Very convenient parking.

A lot of dust on the microwave. Mattresses soft and every movement is felt.
