Clean and convenient. I like being able to park right in front of the room. Not much to look at from the outside but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The Pub attached to the motel has good food, excellent staff and a great beer selection.

This property charges a separate $300 damage deposit in check in. They say the deposit will be returned after check out. This separate charge was not disclosed when you book the reservation. This should be disclosed up front. This type of charge in my opinion gives the motel the appearance that a lot of “rif raf” stays there so they must charge a damage deposit to protect themselves. Makes the motel feel “cheap and sleazy”. It was not but it makes it feel that way when you get coerced to provide a $300 damage deposit.

The location was good, but a little way off the TransCanada Highway; however, it was easy to get back to the highway. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was a good size and had space for both of us to put our large suitcases on a flat surface. Both the room and bathroom were clean and the bed was a little firm, but comfortable. The food at the on-site restaurant (Cannon's Cross Pub) was very good; the staff were friendly. Our room faced the street, but it was quiet; perhaps having the street partially blocked off helped (due to construction in the area).

The location was a little difficult to get to because of all of the construction going on in the area; however, Google maps did get us there without a hitch. We had problems with figuring out the right settings for the window air-conditioning unit (we finally got it). We had to fiddle with the curtains so that we could close them but still have the a/c cooling the room. As another reviewer mentioned: there is a large ($300) security deposit that is held on your credit card, but it is released once they establish that no damage was done to the room.

You can tell the building is old, but the room was clearly recently renovated. It was clean and well laid out and functional. I had one minor problem with the toilet that I handled myself, but given the wonderful staff I'm sure if I'd asked they'd have taken care of it for me. The location may not be super central, but what I liked about it is it's right on a road that turns into Main Street Fredericton without any turns, which was great for someone who has only been to the city once before almost 20 years ago. I just came out of the parking lot, turned right and kept driving until I got to what I needed. Grocery stores, Drug stores, fast food, gas, dollar store, etc.

The only complaint is that the vending machine nor the pub on the property didn't have Mountain Dew. Ha ha! But seriously I was perfectly happy with my stay.

The room I stayed at was quite clean; the staff were very welcoming and helpful. There was air conditioning (something apparently not that common in New Brunswick). It is far from the city centre, which has some advantages. For those who like waling or cycling, the trail bridge that links to the downtown is close by.

The air conditioning was window-mounted. This meant that the window was partially open (although blocked) and could hear traffic at night. On the other hand, there is limited traffic during the night. It is far from the city centre, which has some disadvantages. It is worth noting that the pedestrian/cycling bridge that links to the downtown is close by.

I loved how clean my room was. The sheets and towels were very white, and someone came in to tidy during the day while I was out. I wish I had time to check out the pub cause it seemed lively.

There was no Do Not Disturb sign to hang on the doorknob so I didn't know when the help would come in. Otherwise, I loved my stay.

This is a nice clean and comfortable place to stay. Nothing fancy, perfectly acceptable. It's on the other side of the river from downtown Fredericton, but it's an easy drive to get there. There wasn't much immediately around the motel, but there's a pub onsite - we got there late, didn't feel like going out, and had a nice meal and a drink at the pub. It seemed pretty quiet at the pub, and there was no problem with noise during the night.

There isn't a coffeemaker in the room, so you have to go to the office to get coffee in the morning.

Cheap, friendly services, clean

You get what you paid for. Everything was clean but we found some small orange spot on the sheet, maybe rust from washer. We sleept in our sheet so we didn't mind but without my sheet I don't know if I'd trusted them. Bring your own sheet. Also it's an exit motel, so really noisy. Hopefully this town is pretty much dead at night so you get some sleep. Overall it is a good motel for the price, just know what you're getting into! Services was super friendly and easy going.

The Fort Nashwaak was just down the road from the arena the hockey games were being played and the restaurants nearby were on the way also. If you are looking for a nice place for good value this is the place to stay. The staff were interested in customer service and seemed to love their jobs. Bravo to you all and keep up the great work.I will be back.

There is nothing I could say because everything I needed was there.

The workers that I met were all very friendly and helpful. They were more then willing to help out with any issues and make sure things were resolved quickly.

We found our bed a bit harder then we liked. We were more then willing to put up with that for the price we paid.

difficult to find with road detour. Was at the corner of the detour but signage was not clear from the road where you have to turn to pass by the side of it. Took a long time to find it. Appreciated late hour service for check in. The accomodations were modest but that was all I wanted.
