The structure of the room was perfect for our family vacation, two room suit was just good enough for the family, and the kids loved their room very much. The bed was also very comfortable, and the room had everything inside for a self-catering arrangement. The facility had warned of possible disturbance due to construction work, but I am happy this was not the case as the whole period was very quiet and calm. The EV charging was also a huge bonus!

Maybe we didn't notice that this was a 100% self-catering facility, so we were a little unhappy not to have breakfast. Also, they had unheated pools which was closed because of the winter, and the kids were a little disappointed.

Our hotel room was great with a fireplace, a large tub and balcony with a view of the pool. The kitchenette was stocked with glasses, utensils etc. The lobby/common area was quite large with fireside seating.

No Netflix available on the tv (very outdated tv/apps didn’t work). Had to rent a DVD from the front desk. We requested a late checkout on Tuesday morning and were told it wasn’t possible - this would have really made our morning there more enjoyable. Standard check out time is 10am.

We stayed in 605 first floor. Loved the balcony for relaxing. The bed was so comfortable I need a mattress like this at home lol. The bathroom was large and so clean. The kitchenette so very nice had everything we needed. We will be back again next year.

The only thing I would like is a raised toilet, it was low. No other complaints.

Great location. Attractive setting. Room is lovely and welcoming with nice decor. Large balcony is wonderful. Amenities are great.

I do wish there were a handful of loose tea bags included in the kitchen. Black tea bags are pretty economical and this was the only place I've ever stayed where tea bags weren't included. I also wish the resort had a sign to keep people off of the grass area near the pond that was home to dozens of baby toads. The tiny toads were crossing the walkway by the pool and getting stepped on by guests. Or perhaps signage alerting guests to frog/toad crossing would be a good idea. Or even putting up little garden edging along the pond edge to discourage the toads to travel on the main walkway!

the hotel is very detached from the village. you either have to walk up an unlit road and cut through a parking lot, or walk along the side of a very busy road with no sidewalk to get to blue mountain village. it feels very poorly planned out like the Hilton is an afterthought

The room was nicely laid out and had everything we needed. the view was spectacular. Loved the cottage touches - hammock, Adirondack chairs

bathroom sliding door was super heavy and hard to open 10AM check out with refusal to extend

Beautiful property and great location.

The bed was not comfortable at all. Our room was so warm that we had to sleep with the door open.

Embarc is within walking distance to Blue Mountain. Close enough to enjoy all the activities but far enough to have some quiet time too. Apartments were great - lots of room for family to gather for fun time. Pools + hot tubs were nice + clean. Landscaping added to the atmosphere also.

- Cozy and comfortable decor, with a beautiful view of the lake; - Super friendly and accommodating staff. They allowed us to check in several hours before the official check in hour; - Great heated pool overlooking the river (a must!)

- the property is a bit far away from the ski hill and requires crossing the road. Travellers should be aware of that if this is a ski trip.
