The room was nicely equipped with a microwave, larger fridge, coffee maker with tea/coffee. The room was a good size and was extremely clean. I liked the idea of the pool, sauna and hot tub but didn’t have time to use them as I was there for the Alice Munro Writers Festival and quite busy.

I couldn’t receive CNN or CNBC on the cable service, not a big problem but something which is often offered. The desk chair was worn out and sagging in the seat. The fridge was extremely loud as it ran (getting louder with every minute it ran until finally a big click then it turned off - this every 45 minutes. It kept me awake and woke me up in the night. The smoke detector above the bed had a little green light which dimly lit the area - and disturbed me as I tried to go to sleep and there was no way to cover it up. (I was able to cover up the red microwave light and the blue TV box light). I wish I’d brought a sleep mask and ear plugs which would have solved these problems.

The new renovations and upgrades since our last visit

Since it was slower and less occupied maybe space out the few rooms at least one apart. The ignorant people beside us were in and out of their room all through the night smoking and smoking pot the smell filtered through our door or window and they slammed the door every single entry or exit. We complained to staff. It was a horrible night's sleep because of them.

I really appreciated how the staff waited up for us to get there, long after the front desk was closed. That was not expected, but it was appreciated. The room was a nice size and the bathroom was very nice and modern. I like that.

There was no breakfast at this Motel. That would have been nice though. The room was clean for the most part, just the floors were dirty...how did I know, my son put on brand new white socks before we left the room for the day, and before he could even put on his shoes for us to leave, his socks were brown from walking on the floor in the room. Not impressed. The TV was not working the first night we got there...something with the cable HTMI cord. We got it fixed by night two, because we were out all day.

The room was lovely and clean. The bathroom was also clean and beautifully renovated. Excellent value for money. Good location. The room came with a fridge, microwave, and coffee machine.

All was fine. As a suggestion , the exterior of the motel could do with a face-lift - however, realize that there is a cost associated with doing this. The room was lovely 😍

We have stayed at this property a few times,and they never disappoint.The rooms are always nice and clean.The beds are comfortable and it is quiet for a good nights sleep.The pool is nice and refreshing.When in Goderich this is the place to stay,and is close to everything.

Very comfortable, quiet room!!! It was a pleasant surprise with the bathroom!!! The decor, cleanliness and ohhh what a wonderful shower. The receptionist was friendly, helpful and chatty!!!! The indoor pool was large, clean and soooo warm!!!

Breakfast was not available and very limited restaurant choices nearby or in Goderich

We stayed over night so we did not use the pool or have breakfast at the motel. Staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable and quiet. It was off season and cool during the day so we did not go to any bench.

Pool was not opened late enough for us, it closed at 8pm.

We have stayed a few times,and the place is always nice and clean,the staff are polite and the place is quiet at night.The rooms are quite comfortable and well taken care of.This is the place to stay when in Goderich.The indoor pool is also a big plus.

Location Very low traffic .

The air conditioning was very noisy for a small room.There was hardly anywhere to hang clothing,no breakfast,very little cleaning as short staffed

This is the place we stay at in Goderich,and it is always clean and comfortable.The property is close to everything,the beach is nice and clean with a wonderful boardwalk.Also the staff at the hotel are very nice people.
