Excellent location to both water and downtown, could not have been better. The Checkin man was lovely and very helpful. Parking was plentiful and convenient. The continental breakfast was decent and the coffee very good. Kincardine itself is a wonderful little town with a lot of historical buildings, lively restaurants and beautiful water front and the hotel is within walking distance of it all.

The kitchen facilities had no utensils, plates, etc. just and microwave, fridge and sink. The balcony runs the entire length of the building divided only by deck chairs so it is not private or secure which doesn’t allow you to leave the doors open at night for the fresh air, I would much prefer some type of fixed division but I guess that would hamper the lake views from some rooms. We upgraded the second night to the 3rd floor King and although the bathroom was huge it had less counter space and shelving than the smaller one making it a lot less functional. The elevator is exceedingly slow and small. The cost was quite high.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and service-minded. The facility has been recently upgraded and has well-appointed, comfortable and spacious rooms. A beautiful, warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The continental breakfast was well intended but underwhelming; the pre-packaged, factory made, and sandwich-bagged baked goods were too reminiscent of COVID era mediocrity. Butter crescents, or perhaps some fresh baked muffins or tea biscuits would have vastly improved the experience. Kudos to the staff though, as they maintained this self-serve breakfast set-up very well.

Wonderful hotel, staff, location and breakfast. Very close to the beaches and all the really good restaurants and shopping.

Soundproofing between rooms could be a lot better, basically at normal talking levels you can hear the adjoining rooms, so when some guests are waking up at 6:30 - 7am on a Saturday or Sunday, you will hear them. And through no fault at all of the hotel when other guests start slamming a banging their room doors at 5:50am on a Sunday morning which continued for 1/2 an hour it becomes incredibly annoying! Next time whoever you were do us a Favour and stay at the Holiday Inn!

Great intown location, close to waterfront. Really nice breakfast... with lots of choices of large variety of food types and many different breads, muffins etc.

Pretty noisy traffic-wise to sit outside as the Main St of Kincardine is under construction, and the street right beside the Inn is the bypass. Could hear motorcycles and noisier vehicles inside room as well. Ground floor drive-up rooms still involve steps to get inside, or to room, or to go for breakfast.

The Inn is located right by the water and is in the downtown district so you can get to most things by foot. The rooms were clean and fairly updated, and included a “kitchen corner “with mini fridge, microwave, bar sink and Keurig. There is also a decent breakfast available in the morning and the beds were super comfortable. The hotel was cozy and charming and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

For a continental breakfast it had a lot to offer. Usually continental breakfasts don’t have too much to choose from. The location was great. Nice to have a microwave. Hotels are getting away from them and I don’t see why they shouldn’t be included when paying a premium price. The freezer with the fridge was an added bonus as we travel with a cooler and 4 frozen water bottles. So we still had 4 frozen water bottles for our cooler on the drive home.

Can’t think of anything!

Perfect location, spacious room, very clean, friendly staff. Kincardine is a very nice town with beautiful water front hiking trails. The downtown is also very interesting with many historical buildings.

The breakfast has very little choices. The lobby and breakfast area are small.

I love the location, the staff, and the comfortable bed

The shower and toilet in room 300 badly need grab bars. Also a place to put your soap and shampoo. It is such a big space a chair would be a nice touch for disabled folks like myself

The choices for breakfast were exceptional. Very good.

I understand everything has gone up in price. As seniors we have a limited pension. If the price had been a little bit less we would have stayed for at least two nights. I’m sure we will be back.
