We were cycling the P'tit Train du Nord and Oberge Inn was right off the rail trail. The Inn is tucked in a nice setting in the woods right next to the river. It was quiet and peaceful. They provide an excellent shelter in which to store your bike and there are restaurants close enough to walk to. A full kitchen is available, so we took advantage of it in the morning, as we wanted to get biking early. We brought what we needed to make breakfast, ate and were on a way right at daylight.

The Oberge is a breath of fresh air!! An oasis on a charming property along the river. Booking was easy and communication regarding check-in and other questions I had were all addressed promptly. The owner Guy is so hospitable, helpful and kind. I felt so at home here. The Continental Breakfast was excellent. I had the loft/apartment which had it's own kitchenette. It's based on double occupancy so as a solo guest, it was over my budget but the only option left so I grabbed it. The bed & pillows were sooooo comfortable (better than mine at home 😄) I felt safe and met other guests at the communal breakfast. Will definitely come back!

I have no negative feedback. My only suggestion is that the frying pans in the kitchenette be updated as the 2 larger ones were very old.

The location is ideal, like a little corner of paradise, peaceful in nature. The garden is lovely and with sun, it's super chill to have a bite there with the sound of the river flowing. The house is spacious and the bedroom had everything needed. The common areas are also comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The hosts are lovely! We would definitely come back here the next time we travel in the region.

It was such a cute cozy place. Open and bright. Mix of Modern and traditional aesthetic. I loved how it seems like a small inn but inside is huge. The rooms are a good size. I got a queen with an extra single bed for a family member and there was still walking space. We had a window looking out onto the beautiful snow covered backyard with a Juliette balcony. At night and in the morning I could watch the deers walking around right from my window. All the guest were friendly and our host were expectational! Always checking in and informing us and answering questions. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning! Lots of options to eat and drink. It was amazing having breakfast in the large dining room/kitchen listening to calm music while gazing out the large windows, along with the other guest. Location was fantastic as well. Such a nice village, safe area to walk, visit stores, restaurants and parks. Planning to stay again!

Wifi could have had a stronger connection when in our suite but in the main room and dining room no issues.

Location. Close to the river (I wish I had taken a bathing suits), short walk/bike ride to town and the restaurants. The games in the grounds and the evening fire were very welcome and enjoyable. The staff was very helpful and made very good recommendations per our request.

The bed was the only thing we didn’t like. The mattress sagged and was very uncomfortable.

Beautifully situated near the river and surrounded by trees...very quiet and peaceful. Lovely and homely inside. Spotlessly clean, the whole place. Room was cozy and pretty with a nice view and Guy upgraded me to have an ensuite instead of a shared bathroom which was very kind. Gen was very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent with a nice choice of food. Having the kitchen to share was very helpful too. I would love to come here again and would recommend it to my friends and family. There is NOTHING to dislike🥰

This is a B&B, not a motel. Location was picturesque. Building, sleeping room and separate washrooms were immaculate and completely modern. The owner, who acts sometimes as the caretaker, was pleasant and considerate as were the other caretakers. No hot food but varied breads, fruits, cheeses and some cereal in the French style. The night we were there he provided a bonfire. Swimming and kayaking in the river are possible.

Ladder to bunk bed best for small feet, not those of an adult. The lower bed was a double, too small for toss-and-turners like me and my wife. Plenty of headroom in both the upper and lower bed and comfortable mattresses. Room called a Budget Double.

Our room imcuded a nice equiped keatchen yet Coffee was available only on the mutual corridot. People with heavy luggage might have to carry it upsatairs by themselves.

We stayed for two nights at L'Oberge Inn for a mini getaway to ski the P'tit Train du Nord and hang out in the beautiful, quaint town of Val-David. The Inn was very easy to find, easy to do a contactless check-in with the owners texting us the passcodes ahead of time, and it was very clean and comfortable. The shared bathrooms were very clean and the breakfast in the morning was exceptional. Highly recommend the Oberge Inn!!

Everything is so well thought out, beautiful, and clean. They were very accommodating and let us use the property after check-out, since our bus did not come until later. Only a 9 minute walk from the bus for those travelling without a car.
