The service was excellent, beyond my expectation, from the staff receiving us at the main entrance to the concierge at the 15th floor reception hall. The room is value for money as it is a serviced apartment. It is centrally located, surrounded by major malls, amenities, food, and subway. I can blend with the locals as I explore the Tianhe neighborhood. This is my accommodation of choice when I come back to visit Guangzhou again.

I did not have anything I don't like at this moment. My stay was short. I will share more the next time I come to visit Guangzhou.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is convenient. Room is clean and comfy. All the amenities needed can be found and that includes a functional kitchen and washing machine. Plenty of sockets for charging your electronic devices, a few even have built-in international adaptor so that's a nice touch.

Nothing, Fridge has a bit of condensation on the top but it was fully functional. The kitchen was missing basic pots and pans (but I really don't care as I wasn't planning to cook). Keep up with the great job!

Most pleasant stay ever in China, it was obvious that the hotel designs were foreign and the training was international, totally exceeded all my expectations I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, it's spacious, has all the amenities imaginable, the bathroom uses Kohler and Grohe, never seen that in China. In the restaurant, when the staff was picking up my husband's finished plate at breakfast, I said to the lady that I'm done also, she actually said, "allow me come over to take your plate" instead of picking it up across the table. I know it sounds like nothing, but it is the littlest things that count, I don't think anyone in Asia cares about this.

Everything was nice, the girls in the lobby very helpfull and kind. The room is quite comfortable and large in size. Comfortable beds and bathroom. The kitchen is complete. Breakfast is ok!

I would like the room to have better lighting, as at night there are places that are not lit, especially if you are traveling for work. it would be much better if the room had a full floor without carpet. as there was dust due to this. carpet is only in the room but it would be perfect if there is not there too, carpets are a poor choice now for hotels of this size

The hotel room is very spacious and there is a kitchen but there was no pan, upon request. The swimming pool is indoor covered while the Sun beds are outdoor, I like this setup a lot as it was really humid and hot.

I remember during my stay I did put ´DND’ light on, one day when I returned to my room, there was HSKP done in my room and my suitcase was closed and the stuff in my suitcase was upside down.

Dear Oakwood I rarely write to tell someone about my appreciation but an exception is made here due to impressively professional and pleasant service from Mr Jim Wa and Ms Hayley to me in my stay People like Jim and Ms Hayley have truly made my Stay a more than wonderful experience and my sincere thanks are more than words can describe. I hope you recognize Jim and Hayley is the reason that Oakwood hotel has achieved better service ranking than others.

- absolutely awersowe stuff. Helpful, kind and with good command of English, particularly at the from desk - good quality of appliances at the studio (kettle, washing machine, iron)

- internet is slow and unstable. - variety of choice of food for breakfast shall be enriched - the creaking bathroom door is rather unbecoming of a hotel of this kind. Sure, it's a small thing, but it gives the feeling that someone is not taking care of the object properly.

Location was top, in city center with lots of food and shopping malls, we went to canton fair which is half hour by bus, but because of traffic jam it mostly costs more then an hour.

The pricing on the hotel restaurant was very high, a beer cost more then 100 RMB, and a warm meal more then 800 RMB, I would advise everyone to eat outside the hotel.

Location is great. The rooms are very clean. The lobby is up on the 15th floor. Everything worked out the way we had expected. Booked a queen bed room and got upgraded to a two room suit, fully equipped kitchen. That was a surprise. Rooms are slightly old but clean enough. We like it how they are ECO friendly by not providing too many toiletries.

The size of the room was excellent and included a laundry set up which is very convenient when travelling. Staff were very helpful.

The departure time for the shuttle bus from the Hotel to the Canton fair left at 9am…the fair opened at 9am so you arrived after it started which was not ideal.
