Location was very convenient. Breakfast was wonderful with a lot of western food items. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool after coming tired from the rice terraces. The room was quite spacious with comfortable bed. I will recommend the hotel to everyone especially for family with kids.

Great location. All main sights are just around the hotel. Standard for mariott class of service which is good. We were during off season, so it was quiet and nice.

It's difficult to give a review when a hotel is in the middle of renovation. But I would like to comment on the service. Even though Guilin is essentially a city focused on tourism the staff exceeded my expectations when it came to efficiency, friendliness, and attitude. Front desk, concierge, breakfast and café and pool staff, they were all offered excellent service!
The breakfast didn't offer a whole lot of vegetarian options and it was the same everyday. The pool is weird. 90% of the pool is 2.9 meters deep and 10% is 1.4 meters deep. This means EVERYONE swims in and around the small 1.4m area and the rest of the pool is empty. Not sure what they can do about that but that was my only complaint as we stayed during a very hot summer and needed to cool off every day but couldn't really enjoy it as it was too crowded in that one area.

The location was really good, it was very convenient to walk along the river, go the elephant trunk hill, reach the PCR testing hospital, also, the walking street with local food and shops is two steps from the hotel. Breakfast was also good

It’s a rather standard hotel, welcoming big groups. The room was fine, without special interest. The swimming pool is very deep and nice, but absolutely no shade, except few umbrellas. Breakfast was ok. We were having a late check out, which was very nice because of late departure of our plane
Check in and check out. There is a lot of customers /groups. It took 30 minutes to check in and even more to checkout. Not enough reception counters open and rather messy.

The location is absolutely spot on. It is near to most attractions. Loving it
For me and my friends, the down side is that it didn’t have cooling air condition. They told us because it is winter season, it only has heating system and Guilin during our stay was not cold enough to use the heater.

Location is fine, it's walking distance to the main attractions.
The light in the wardrobe was on all night, no way to turn it off. It being next to the bed was annoying.
