the location was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. breakfast was also great with a pretty large selection. the number 1 asset to this stay was really the location, the hotel is walking distance to both a large underground food court with tons of options and line 7 of the metro. it really made all the back and forth to the hotel light years easier and made looking for places to eat much easier.

there was a persistent damp smell in the rooms and a foul odor coming from the sink drain. it seemed like corners in the bathroom were left to collect dust and dirt and it felt like an apartment someone hadn’t cleaned at times. bed area and couch area were much better in this respect.

The room: The mezzanine bedroom design creates a light, spacious feel with a compact plan; loved the large shower, the compact but serviceable kitchen. Very polite and attentive staff for breakfast. Wonderful service from staff who explained everything clearly. Room daily serviced by polite/ capable staff. Well positioned hotel, great cooling air conditioning for hot, humid weather and provision of umbrella for sun. Great bed, large and very comfortable. Metro/ underground food mall entry 2 minutes from the hotel entry across the road. Great metro system with signage in English. As foreigners we were unable to purchase locally without cash, as all locals buy food and goods using we chat, which requires a local address and contact details. Staff kindly showed where foreign accessable atm was, 5 minute walk away. All other banks locally did not accept visa or mastercard.

Minor issues for host to look at improving: Shuttle driver found hotel easily but hotel position on google maps showed the hotel a couple of blocks away from its exact position. The shower does overflow at the door. Not much provided for utensils, just the basic- no sharp knives. More tea bags and milk at arrival would have been good for foreign visitor. At arrival the staff said breakfast provided as part of the room (as declared and booked on the website) was for only one person per double bedroom - bit weird since there were two of us booked. The staff kindly supplied enough coupons for both of us. Air conditioning was superb and ample but ground level and first floor systems not coordinated.

The room is comfortable, double bed is comfortable but just a bit snug as it’s a queen bed. Spacious and modern suitable for families. Noise of construction truck woke me up on the first night. I asked the staff about it and they immediately move me to the other side of the building.

I didn’t try any facilities so can’t comment on it

very near to MRT station langao road exit 5, walk out and turn right, you can see renaisance and modena the family room is good

It's really close to Line 7 Langao Road metro station. The price is affordable (compared to other hotels of same level) for a family with two kids (under 14 years old) to stay, if the kids can sleep together in one of the two double beds. Breakfast buffet is full of option, both western and Chinese, and quite good.

The air heating in the room could be improved. During winter the upper area of the room gets very hot, while the lower level stays much colder. This is because the central heating pushes the warm air up. During the Chinese New Year the hotel was packed with people, and during breakfast the staff had some problems in refilling everything, from food to drinks and kitchenware.

The apartment was not totally set up for self catering Small things like no tea towels or dish washing items, no sharp knives or scissors for food packaging A toaster would also have been nice but we realise that is a western thing This is being very picky though as we like to cater for ourselves, especially for breakfast Most people do not do this so overall our week in the apartment was great

Room - is comfy and neat for business traveler. Have washing machine which is very convenient for long stays. Location - is very convenient with Line 7 train station nearby and surrounded by supermarket, eateries and shops. Clean - Daily housekeeping cleaning which is great. Staffs - Friendly, helpful and excellent services.

The only thing I dislike is the pillow. The pillow is quite flat and soft compare to other International brand of hotels that I normally stayed.

i booked the loft with 2 queen sized beds and there was enough space. it was cozy and equipped with a fully functioning small kitchenette, full sized fridge as well as a microwave. facilities like the gym were very clean and well maintained! the property is situated in a nice small area that is not too noisy or densely populated, with 24/7 convenience stores just 2-3 mins walk away.

it is abit far from the city centre and attractions. but if you do not mind the distance, the train station is fairly nearby and it takes about 40 mins to reach shanghai city centre by train since you do have to change lines.

The staff in Reception & night gate👌 so helpful. Quiet area , big supper market but underground beside the right side of the hotel . Microwave & stove

It’s crazy gave a room beside & next door a renovation room full of workers & Noisy . ( I hate it) because I select quite area and they bring the noice on my walls.. they couldn’t stop working ..👎🏽 lack of management and guest’s care skills. Under the bed very dirty , never be cleaned!! Room is small even it’s 2 levels. Bathroom doors transparent and not locking .

The room was huge (a mini-duplex) and fully equipped. The location is excellent - a few steps away from a metro station, and yet in a very calm, clean, quiet area. Plenty of restaurants / cafes in the subway station and around the hotel. Excellent breakfast, with plenty of options for all possible tastes and diets.

The mini-fridge in the room was quite noisy, but we unplugged it and didn't use it. The corridors seem to wake up for good at around 8:00-8:30, so a bit different to sleep in.
