The staff was exceptionally nice. The breakfast staff even remembered how we like our coffee by the second day. The breakfast buffet and fruit choice was amazing, very varied with something for everyone. The beds were very, very comfortable with good pillows, and I'm picky in that regard. The shower pressure was great with nice, hot water. The room had all facilities and kits you would need. We required a different room, and the reception staff was also very accommodating. Laundry service was also great! I know Bogotá, so for me the location is perfect for what I needed. It's not central per se, but it's a safe and quiet neighbourhood with a great mall on front and lots of nice little vendors and shops around.

I'm personally not a fan of carpeted floors, but seeing as there is no heating anywhere in Bogota and nights get cold, maybe it's not so bad.

I didn't like that Booking.com didn't do the right process for booking. I requested full payment at the time of booking according to the Booking.com app. Booking.com did not notify me that I had not been charged in full. The day my sister checked one day before me, she found that the room had not been paid for. Fortunately, the hotel had a great understanding with us loyal customers and agreed to process the payment the next day when I arrived. Very disappointed to put my sister in that situation.

The Sonesta Hotel Bogota is now our go to hotel when we travel to Bogota. We were so happy with our stay there. The room was spotless with clean drum tight bed made every day for us. The shower was wonderful with nice soaps and toiletries. One of the nicest things we loved was the breakfast that came with the booking. It included made to order eggs/omelets and a splendid buffet that changed every morning, plus coffee bar included. Buffet included fresh cut fruits, cheeses, lots of breads, pastries, different little cracker appetizers things and homemade Colombian fruit marmalades. Wow! It was a great way to start each day. A remarkable observation was that every staff member in the restaurant and hotel always wore a beautiful welcoming smile and promptly serve you if you need it anything. We felt spoiled! When you enter the hotel there is a free coffee/tea machine and fruit marinated water dispenser there all day. An example of their service was when we informed them that the shower door had a small part that seemed loose, we went to the buffet breakfast and by time we returned to the room it was already fixed like new. How can you beat that? On top of that it’s across the street from a nice mall with 24 hour grocery store and loads of shops/restaurants Thank you Sonesta Bogota you will see us again 😊

Friendly reception staff, and the small bald guy, forgot his name Eugenio maybe?! was fantastic, so much attention to detail, great service and very attentive. The orange or banana cake at breakfast was divine!

The Porterhouse menu gets boring after 6 days but the baby beef is highly recommended! Shame there is no outside area to sit in at the hotel. For a 4* hotel, for foreign guests I would expect bottled water daily not just on entry and daily coffee in room machine you don't have to pay for.

Sometimes you could hear the noise from the conference level from lots of people or even parties late at night. Nothing too much but you could feel the base vibrations from the 5th floor we were at.

The staff was wonderful. They were professional, friendly, and always aiming to make our stay an excellent one. The breakfast was excellent, with many different choices. Cooks Porterhouse, the hotel restaurant, was excellent, with great food quality, excellent service and very good prices. Location was excellent with some of the best restaurants in Bogota close by and a nice shopping mall across the street.

The location is great and the staff are really friendly!! Our room was very clean and comfortable! The breakfast is one of the best around and the staff go way above normal to make sure you are completely satisfied with your meal!! We would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a great place to stay!!

The staff in general, their commitment to service is remarkable. The hotel is very clean, spacious and elegant. The breakfast was a buffet and it was delicious, my daughter loved it as well as the 24 hour room service.

It doesn’t have smart tv, so we needed to connect an hdmi cable from the laptop to the tv.

The hotel's location is excellent, situated just across the street from the Unicentro Mall. It offers a modern and comfortable atmosphere. The rooms are spotless and cozy, ensuring a restful stay. The staff is exceptionally accommodating and always ready to assist. The breakfast is very good, providing a great start to the day.

I wasn’t told I needed to bring my passport to check in, just a picture ID, which I presented. I was told that could not check in nor stay at the hotel without my passport physically present; and that they would not accept the docs picture, and would further need to see my legal entry stamp into the country. I told them that I have recently stayed at several national and international hotel chains without having to provide this info, which they claimed was a mandatory immigration requirement. Since I was unaware that hotel chain front desks handled Colombia’s immigration processes, I was unable to provide a physical copy of my passport. After much discussion, the supervisor allowed my check in with a pix of my passport, 30 mins later.
