We stayed at Casa Pizzaro for 5 nights and wished we could have stayed for longer. It was a stunning oasis in the midst of the busy and hot streets of Getsemani. The pool was out of this world, not huge for swimming but a proper jungle oasis surrounded by greenery and plants, an ideal place to relax and cool off after sunbathing on the rooftop. The rooftop was a wonderful place to relax, read, catch the sun and eat a lovely breakfast. The staff were so warm and friendly, it felt like a family vibe with many members of staff taking turns in different roles. The cleaning lady was always around keeping the place spotless, providing towels at the pool, and generally being a warm smiling face. The hotel arranged a trip to an island for us, and offered to help us with arrangements to another beach we wanted to visit, which we decided not to in the end and instead spent another day relaxing in the hotel. The Getsemani neighbourhood was wonderful, SO many restaurants and bars nearby, made it so easy to grab a bite anytime. The old town was only a 10min walk away so we were basically near to everything. The place felt very secure too as there was always someone to lock and unlock the front door, day or night. They also arranged a transfer to the airport for us.

We had the big room, and on Saturday night it was noisy, but it stopped around 2am, and during the week it wasn't a problem. Generally it felt very quiet. It's quite pricey for Colombia, but Cartagena is much more touristic, and after staying here I'd definitely come back as it was worth it.

location is great! right in Getsemani but still quiet. I had a problem on the first night with my door as the key wouldn’t come out but they send a locksmith to fix it sttaight away. don’t think its worth what you pay (for Colombian standards) but compared to European prices it is. the roof top is nice to sunbathe, the pool is nice to cool off but it is small so don’t expect laps of swimming. the staff are friendly and helpful

i ordered eggs without ham, and after telling them 3 times (in spanish) that I wanted it without meat, the eggs came w ham.. I had to catch my bus so didnt have time for breakfast anymore. overall this is a problem in Colombia: they don’t understand if you are vegetarian and just put meat in everything anyway 😃

A small and friendly hotel in a great location in Getsemani, lots of restaurants, bars, nightlife, beautiful streets all within 5 minutes walk whilst still being on a street quiet enough for good quality sleep. Room was clean and comfortable, with both aircon and a fan, staff were friendly and a lovely rooftop spot for a freshly cooked breakfast every morning. The pool was small but really refreshing after a sweaty day exploring Cartagena.

The standard room is pretty small and as two friends in twin beds with two suitcases, it was quite cramped, also as it was a ground floor room, the only window looks out onto the corridor/pool so not much privacy if you want it open, although that didn't bother us too much.

- The hotel is really beautiful, located in an old colonial house with a pool in the middle, very appreciated after a stroll under the heat of the city. Our room was on ground level but still very quiet, and clean. - The location is perfect, in the heart of Getsemani but sufficiently far away from the main streets so you’re not bothered at night. 10min walk to the old town. - Breakfast was very nice and large, served on the rooftop. - Staff was friendly, especially the guy serving breakfast.

It might be a bit loud, door-to-door. We had to wake up our neighbours because they came back very late and drunk, and they couldn't hear their alarm clock, which was ringing for hours. We could hear it in our room and couldn't sleep. The staff didn't want to knock on their door (so I had to, sorry). Another point is breakfast, which comes down to one option.

Originally booked the larger room with balcony without knowing it faced the streets and people drink and play music until 6.30am. After an awful night we asked to move rooms and not only did the hotel accommodate us but they refunded the difference in price. After we moved to a quieter room there were no more issues and we hugely enjoyed the rest of our stay here. Try the hotel lunch, its great. 10/10 (but don't book the larger room)

This is a stunning small boutique hotel, excellent location, so close to many good bars & restaurants. The rooftop breakfast spot is lovely & the breakfast wonderful. The pool although small, is effective at the end of the day.

It is about 15 minute walk to the old town which is manageable but some may think far. The street below can be noisy and annoy some.

The pool is fabulous, and so is the roof top terrace. Breakfast is Very good. In a walkable neighborhood with lots of pretty sights, shops and restaurants. Is lively at night.

The staff lock the door a lot and you have to wait For them to unlock it, to not only enter but also to leave. So if you’re trying to make it somewhere on time it could take a few mins just to leave. Beds were hard. Water smelled a little funny. If you need breakfast give yourself up to an hour. only 1 or 2 people cooking and one person serving breakfast. My first day I missed breakfast because I sat down and got up because I didn’t have time. Rooms are Not sound proof. You hear everyone and everything.

We had a lovely stay for two nights. I would say this is more in the quiet area of Getsemani; in other other words, the first time, we did not fall asleep listening to music. Much appreciated! Other than that excellent breakfast, friendly staff, and clean rooms. Big plus that they had a fan as well! So we could choose between air-conditioning and a fan.

The beds are hard, personally, for I prefer medium beds; other than that, everything was excellent!

Beautiful pool and decor, great breakfast. The staff was super helpful and did their best to help us solve our problem with the credit card. The room ( we had the superior room) was beautiful and spacious, we had a balcony with a view on the pool. Great location, a few steps away from Plaza Trinidad but a bit more quiet .

Everything was great. The regular rooms however only have a pool view so if you want some sunlight, there’s not much privacy in the room and whoever passes by can see you. Keep it in mind. Otherwise- we had a fabulous stay!
