I had two concerns after reading reviews and before arriving. They were location and breakfast choices. The other comments from other reviewers are accurate. The place is in a great location of Escazu- close to San Jose and major shopping areas. While breakfast was good but basic you have to pay extra for omelets and pancakes. Great staff, location and value for money. Complimentary airport shuttle also provided.

Breakfast was good but basic. Upgrades taking place but it should not affect you if you’re out most of the day.

My husband and I were travelling with his sister and we loved that we could all stay together in a two bedroom/two bathroom. Also, loved that there were laundry facilities onsite. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. We also took advantage of the small onsite convenience store to buy a couple of needed items. There are a few awesome restaurants a short walk from the property. We especially recommend Zonna Gastrobar. We took a couple of Uber rides to various sites in the city and they were pretty inexpensive.

The staff is very accommodating and, all speak English quite well......The breakfast is a great welcome treat, although the selection is generally the same from day to day, nonetheless the entire staff are all friendly and helpful.

One observation that I would like to mention, is that the Pool are needs a re-vamp (modernization). The furniture is very dated, and in need of replacement. Additionally, the sauna pool has 8 jets, but only two are functional, and those two are not powerful at all..... It would be nice if some better landscaping could be done to make the area more appealing.

The property is well secured and patrolled. It has a lovely pool and hot tub that are a popular amenity. The rooms are very large. The breakfasts are good with attentive staff. The location was very good with plenty of nearby restaurants, banking, and shopping.

The property is on an extremely busy road. The traffic was constant, early in the morning to late at night. Ask for a room that does not front the road. The beds are very small. A large double is smaller than queen size even though the room can easily accommodate a king bed. Some furniture upgrading would seem appropriate.

Comfortable, clean and location was great for me. Staff friendly and competent. 2 pools, laundry facilities and large workout facility. I have stayed here 3 separate visits and it is very consistent. Well stocked kitchens. Breakfast included, coffee and water always available in the lobby. They have added a limited bar menu in the evenings, which I didn't try. Many restaurants in walking distance.

Breakfast is a nice variety of selections. My suggestion is to offer real butter :)

This was in a nice area. The apartment was very spacious and accommodating for a family of 5.

The decor was a bit outdated and could use upgrading. We seemed to have a termite or some other wood burrowing bug problem in our apartment. Dust from the wood in the ceiling kept appearing on the floor after we’d wipe it up which appeared to be indicative of a termite issue.

Breakfast was sufficient But nice to have the option to add-on omelet's eggs or pancakes loved the cappuccino and the frugliness of the staff

Cannot blame the staff or the people that clean the room but I found one huge cockroach in the bathroom and then the day we checked out I found a small 1 under the bed and I told the front desk they were very concerned and upset and they said they were going to black the room and call an exterminator

It was a wonderful combination of amenities and services for my large party - from the heated pool and hot tub, to the well equipped kitchen, airport transportation, spacious rooms, included breakfast, and convenient location. Except for one person at reception, every single member of the staff we interacted with was extremely attentive, friendly, kind, helpful in addressing our family’s needs during our stay.

Once they have working elevators, it will be great for the mobility impaired, but until then - even the first floor suites require traversing through long and in some cases steep ramps. Earlier communication about the elevator situation would also have been better especially when I had made a point in my reservation about how important that was for my party. It caused quite a bit of stress and required time to figure out how I would fit everyone in my party for the accessible rooms available. Fortunately we were able to work things out.

Free breakfast was nice, but we eat clean so very few options for that. Rooms were nice and had everything we needed.

Our living room couch was a love seat so for the only seating for two people who were recovering from dental surgery it wasn't enough. Next time we will upgrade to a superior room with full seating.

This hotel goes above and beyond in cleanness. From the grounds to the rooms, someone is ALWAYS cleaning. Felt secure and safe. The pool and hot tub were SPARKLING clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly.

Nothing they can do about this however the road next to the hotel is VERY VERY Busy. Jake breaks, horns honking, loud motor bikes going at all hours. Keep the windows closed if you do not want to listen to these things. This is my only complaint. The road noise really got on my last nerve though cause I wanted to open the windows but couldn't deal with it.
