I had two concerns after reading reviews and before arriving. They were location and breakfast choices. The other comments from other reviewers are accurate. The place is in a great location of Escazu- close to San Jose and major shopping areas. While breakfast was good but basic you have to pay extra for omelets and pancakes. Great staff, location and value for money. Complimentary airport shuttle also provided.

Breakfast was good but basic. Upgrades taking place but it should not affect you if you’re out most of the day.

It was a wonderful combination of amenities and services for my large party - from the heated pool and hot tub, to the well equipped kitchen, airport transportation, spacious rooms, included breakfast, and convenient location. Except for one person at reception, every single member of the staff we interacted with was extremely attentive, friendly, kind, helpful in addressing our family’s needs during our stay.

Once they have working elevators, it will be great for the mobility impaired, but until then - even the first floor suites require traversing through long and in some cases steep ramps. Earlier communication about the elevator situation would also have been better especially when I had made a point in my reservation about how important that was for my party. It caused quite a bit of stress and required time to figure out how I would fit everyone in my party for the accessible rooms available. Fortunately we were able to work things out.

This hotel goes above and beyond in cleanness. From the grounds to the rooms, someone is ALWAYS cleaning. Felt secure and safe. The pool and hot tub were SPARKLING clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly.

Nothing they can do about this however the road next to the hotel is VERY VERY Busy. Jake breaks, horns honking, loud motor bikes going at all hours. Keep the windows closed if you do not want to listen to these things. This is my only complaint. The road noise really got on my last nerve though cause I wanted to open the windows but couldn't deal with it.

We had a wedding near by, so the location was perfect. They gave me a discount in the hairsalon next to it, so I took advantage of it (10% of discount). The pool was warm, perfect for the chilly weather in december. The apartment was nice, a little bit old but everything worked well. It has two bathrooms and a nice kitchen. The rooms were soundproof. The breakfast was nice. It had Gallo Pinto, scrambled eggs, fruits, bread and nice coffee. The staff was nice. We used the gym and it has dumbells and some machine (mainly for upper body) a little bit old, but functional.

The bed was very simple and quite small (queen size), but nothing extremely bad. I missed sour cream for the Gallo Pinto, but it was ok with the fresh cheese. The location is perfect and it felt very secure.

Nice hotel in a good area. There are two pools ( one heated) and a small jakuzzi. The breakfast is nice and plenty. The layout of the apartment was nice.

Travelling regularly with small kids, we book places where we have a kitchen. It was the first place where there was no washing detergent provided in the kitchen and also no salt, pepper, sugar. These are basics that should come with an apartment. This was our most expensive stay in our 2 weeks Costa Rica stay and the only one where I couldn`t clean the bottles of my daughter.

Breakfast: OK, Pool, Jacuzzi: Excellent, Romm: Excellent, Staff: Outstanding, entertainment (TV): OK, Airport shuttle: Excellent I have stayed at your property 4 times already, and my experience have been awesome every time. Overall, Iam very satisfy with everything. Thank you very much.

the grounds are beautifully landscaped, full gated and safe. the staff was very kind and accommodating. breakfast a good typical CR breakfast with fresh made eggs. rice and beans, fresh fruit and great coffee made to order with fresh frothy milk.

The rooms are a bit dated and the beds are stiff. The pull out couch bed was fine for my 12 year old who can sleep anywhere but I would not suggest it for adults. we did appreciate that the pull out couch had it’s our “room” with accordion style doors so we could close it as a bedroom for our child. we were a bit disappointed that they only TV in the apartment was in the bedroom so we could not watch TV in the living room.

You feel like you're away at the beach, not in the middle of the city. Great staff, very friendly setting. I used to stay here all the time when I was little and it was so nice to see that many things hadn't changes.

I think breakfast could be much better variety wise. A little interior design renovation would definitely increase your clientele, as many young people would probably prefer more modern places.

Breakfast was good and the Pool and hot tub were Really Nice. I really like the apartment. Made it nice to be able to buy our own food and make supper and breakfast, Tea and Coffee.

The pull out bed was for little kids and the adult bed is pretty hard. The property is situated on a very busy street.

Enjoyed the breakfast and the service of the staff. Appreciated the mini-market on the property. In general the staff was very responsive and helpful.

Issues with WiFi in the room. Finally reported it and it was seemingly corrected. Hope it's long term. Was able to shorten my stay to 4 nights and that resulted in come confusion at the front desk since I'd booked 6 nights through Booking.com. Little weird that there was a half bath just off the kitchen.
