Staying at this family-run hotel was an absolute delight! The standout feature for us was undoubtedly the warmth and hospitality of the owners. They were not only friendly but incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. The rooms were comfortable and the atmosphere was welcoming and inclusive. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming and friendly place to stay.

The room was very clean. Also, when we arrived, Pablo (staff) was super friendly and helpful with all kinds of information (paid tours, free walks, places to eat, etc). 5 stars to his professionalism.

We reserved breakfast for the 1st morning. Nobody informed us in the previous night that the kitchen closed at 9am. Then on the day, a WhatsApp was sent at 8:30am informing about the kitchen closing time, but we only saw it at 9am. We arrived at the breakfast area at 9:05 and they mentioned the kitchen was closed and the breakfast couldn’t be served anymore. That’s a shame as we expected a bit more flexibility.

It was very good value for money. The host was AMAZING, she spoke perfect English, helped book taxis, book tours and did our laundry when requested in under 12 hours. The site is well kept and the room was sparkling. It was next to a supermarket, the best burger van and only a 20 min walk into the main town. Absolutely nothing bad to report! Thank you for having us !

The Guy running the hotel is very knowledgable about moteverde and gave us great advice and recommendations on where to go. He also took us to the center as we did not have a car. Overall he was very approachable and was able to help with various things. He even called the police to make sure that the guy which bothered us at the ficus tree could not get us in trouble(he tried to scam us and then threatened to call the police)… For the price we payed the service was extraordinary. We stayed in various hotels and hostels and this was easily the most comfortable we felt when engaging with staff.

The rooms are not that great. The building is not well insulated so it is loud throughout the day especially in the rooms close to the street. BUT at night the roads are empty and you can sleep perfectly as the beds are good.

Pablo was really helpful. He treated us as if we were really close friends. He gave us a lots of tips for everything. It’s well located, out of the rush of Monteverde, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The common kitchen has all the equipment needed to cook whatever you want.

It is really good located. Rooms are nice and the kitchen and leisure area is great. The best thing are the hosts, so friendly and helpful, they organized all the activities for us and gave us really good recommendations.

El Nido Lodge is a great hotel! The hosts Pablo and Susana are very friendly and warm! And give you good tips for activities! The restaurant is also very good! I always had excellent food there! Very uncomplicated communication via WhatsApp! I can highly recommend the hotel!

Good location if you come by car. Rooms are clean and spacious enough. Kitchen is sufficiently equipped.

Rooms are next to the street, can get noisy and streets lamps and car headlights shine through the window all night long. Mattress was not comfortable.

The El Nido Lodge was a lottery jackpot, we can just recommend this Lodge to all of you. The guys here were open minded, friendly, helpful and so nice. The room and the breakfast were also really nice and good. At the last evening we also got opportunity for a campire. Also they helped us booking some Trips and have suggestions what we can Do. It was an great experience staying here. Thanks for this awesome time ☀️

They have a really nice garden and a great outdoors area with hammocks. The vibe of the place is really good. When we arrived they were having a campfire outside. The room was small for 3 but clean and they had a warm shower. Pablo and his girlfriend (the hosts) were really nice and really helpful! they took they took the time to explain to us everything you could do in the area, the tours and including all the free stuff. Pablo had done most of the tours himself so he could tell you why he liked them and why not. He was honest! The day we left he told us to go to the colibri gallery, so we went. Up there we got a flat tire. We called Pablo to ask if he knew somebody who could help us. Even tough we weren’t guest anymore he drove all the way up there to come and help us. When the tire was changed he drove us to a local shop who fixed our tire.
