I was traveling through the Central Valley when I tripped and broke my ankle. I needed a place to stay after seeing the doctor for my first consultation My Dr. recommended Vista Canyon Inn and what a fabulous recommendation that was. They arranged for transportation to the Dr.s Office and then to the hospital for my out patient surgery. and picked me up after surgery. Thrilled they had room for me the next night. This place is Heaven on Earth. The staff, rooms, facilities, and breakfast were fabulous. Plus, they arranged for me to have a lovely room that was easily accessible on the first floor close to the dining area and Lobby.

The breakfast was excellent but there was only one meal to choose from. Lots of fresh fruit always. The pool and gardens were lovely and spotless. The rooms were very comfortable and clean.

The location and the parking. Neighbors dogs barked day & night. The off street parking was very difficult to get our SUV in and out of. When we arrived in afternoon no staff was there to meet us. The manager was taking guests to dental appointments in San Jose 30 minutes away. We were met by another guest who knew little except what rooms we had. After 1pm there was no one in the office at all.

I had an accident while in CR and broke my ankle. I had planned on staying just one night. However, do to the additional visits to the Dr. after having surgery. I added 2 nights to my trip. Amazing tropical oasis in the middle of the city. disappointed I didn't use the pool or hot tub. Can't wait to come back to enjoy the experience

that I couldn't use the pool or jacuzzi and that I had to leave.

When we walked in and saw the beautiful view, it was so unexpected. Pictures don’t do it justice. We were greeted by Brenda. She was so lovely and even helped us order dinner in that night. Everyone was so kind and made us feel special. Breakfast was prepared every morning. They set the table for us on the patio. The grounds are beautiful. It was a perfect end to our trip in Costa Rica.

My husband wasn't feeling well when we arrived so we didn't get to enjoy much of the property, but the heated swimming pool looked amazing and the view was stunning. The owners were so kind. They said if my husband wasn't feeling better the next day we could stay, no problem. They found a Kindle charger for me when I lost mine. They even have wine you can sign out for purchase!

We chose the Vista Canyon Inn because of its close situation to the airport, as we had a flight back on August 6th. We were amazed by the very comfortable and tastefully equipped facilities and the very personal and friendly host and stuff. Everything was perfect. The owner even got up at 4am to give us some breakfast bags, help us getting the car out und say farewell. Thanks a lot for the short, but very nice stay.

What was there not to like about Vista Canyon Inn The location, property, room, delicious breakfasts, But most of all the amazing and caring Staff Paola the manager and Brenda the evening receptionist were great and available to help with anything I needed. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely family run hotel. The owners and staff are wonderful. We have stayed here twice. The first time we came with cats and everyone was very accommodating of our needs traveling with children and pets. We came back a second time on a shopping trip to San Jose. Paola, who works at the front desk, was extremely helpful and kind. She is pure sunshine! We live several hours away from San Jose, but we will always stay here when we need to visit the city. The breakfast is very good and we really enjoyed the open lounge area with filtered water, hot tea and drinks available all day long. The pool and hot tub are lovely too. This small hotel feels very cozy and inviting.

staff were great, small but cosy room with a comfortable bed and the breakfast was lovely also..... the hottub and the pool were heated and nice and warm with great views

Splendid property with lovely staff, amazing views, tasty breakfast, and great value! Would definitely recommend for ANYONE interested in visiting the San Jose area!!!!
