fantastic location right in the centre of Dubrovnik

lovely room, but it was not clear when booking that the only windows were in the ceiling, so we were not able to look out the window.

Our visit to Dubrovnik was long planned and we had very high expectations. Our stay at the Pucic Palace Hotel easily exceeded those expectations. It's location is the very best you can get in the Old Town. Our corner room balcony opened on to the square below - we were transported back in history and felt like the noblemen that once enjoyed the town. This is a small boutique hotel, and the room was elegantly and stylishly furnished - high ceilings, paintings on the wall and the tall drapes added to its character. The large bathroom with period-style tub as well as modern shower was perfect - we also appreciated the Bvlgari amenities! Full housekeeping service twice a day kept the room fresh and in character. Our trip would not have been the same without the ladies at Reception - Marijana and Sania. They gave us the feeling that we were close friends and their only goal was to ensure we had a great time in Dubrovnik. Their local knowledge and suggestions gave us the edge to make our trip superb. We especially appreciated their recommendations. for instance, wed would never have discovered the Yacht Club, known primarily to the locals, as one of the most scenic lunch spots where we had a memorable meal. Breakfast was included for hotel guests and was amazing. When breakfast is included at a hotel, we usually expect a self-service buffet. Not at Pucic Palace! We were invited to order anything from the exciting menu for a chef-prepared breakfast each morning. A great way to start the day. Knowing that this hotel is in the pedestrian-only zone of the city, we were a little apprehensive about how we would carry our luggage after being dropped off at the city gate and find our way to the hotel in a new place. But no fear - the taxi driver called the hotel when we were approaching, and we had a staff member waiting for us to help with our luggage and escort us to the property - and we got the same service on our way back. We miss Pucic Palace!

- Grand building steeped in history and grandeur - room comes with a balcony overlooking old town market square - Sania was an amazing hostess and helped organise a surprise birthday celebration for my wife. - breakfast was delicious and the staff very attentive. - location in old town was the best possible place to stay in Dubrovnik. - Housekeeping cleaned and inspected the rooms twice a day to ensure the room was immaculate throughout

nothing. this is one of the rare occasions I could not fault the property.

The most beautiful historic hotel within old town. Extremely well done and authentic. Staff were extremely helpful and warm (especially Sanja). Abundance of options for breakfast, amazing location, gorgeous rooms, professional staff all around.

Some room amenities could be improved. The bathroom floor floods very easily, the air conditioning was faulty (it was always warm in the room), loud noises could be heard from my room (main kitchen vent).

Great location; lovely staff; historic building; lovely breakfast served at the table.

in a pedestrian zone which can be a bit awkward for getting luggage from the gate to the hotel. Nothing else really. There are no public rooms - but we were out and about all the time anyhow. it was expensive, but I gather all hotels in Dubrovnik are expensive.

Loved everything from the moment we walked in. Staff was so helpful & friendly. We were treated like family and the location was awesome. Our balcony overlooked the plaza and the restaurant was on the ground floor with amazing food and friendly people.

Liked everything.

The location is perfect for your 1st stop in Dubrovnik. Directly in the inner city palace old Town area. There's a lovely fresh market next door on square and access to views, the walls was perfect. Old world style decor makes you feel part of the day when it was built. Clean and attentive staff. Wonderful outdoor space for breakfast.

The hotel is right in the middle of the old town and couldn’t be better placed. The hotel is actually is an old palace which makes decor and design unique. The bedroom and bathroom are a good size for a hotel in an old town. My wife was unwell whilst we were staying and the staff couldn’t have been more caring which was a massive help. The hotel also has the Cafe Royal restaurant which is in the best location for eating outside situated in a square unlike most of the others that are squeezed into narrow streets.

I can’t say it’s really a full 5 star hotel like you would find in Paris or London but it’s close.

Absolutely perfect location in the heart of everything. Alan was incredibly helpful and made some wonderful recommendations for food and sightseeing that made my vacation even better. I’ve never slept so well at a hotel before. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Nothing-the stay was perfect.

Incredible breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly. Beautiful hotel with an amazing location. I highly recommend. Restaurant food was also excellent.

Hard to fault it. The only issue is that you can;t drive into the old town but thats the same issue for all hotels in the old town.
