location, nighttime silence

arrival procedure / no response to calls, no response when asking for gate opening to access hotel plaza. took 20 mins of waiting time and multiple calls just to pass the gate by car. bike depot not directly in the hotel but in the house 3mins walk, no room, just yard, not under supervision / multiple keys held by too many people

Beautiful room, spacious and a very comfortable bed. Lovely view from the shower. The location at the top of Groznjan looking out over the hillsides is exceptional, so where you can sit for drinks and food is gorgeous. The staff were all brilliant, very friendly and really looked after us during our stay.

Nothing it was all wonderful, although would have liked a kettle in the room

in the lobby staff was playing classic rock loud from the early morning. I found it very inappropriate for the overall mood of the place

Excellent breakfast. Staff friendly and so helpful. Comfy beds and bedding. Fantastic bathroom. Quality toiletries. Bar outside in perfect location. Good access to drop off and pick up luggage.

The location on property is great. When we come the staff gave us the pass to come with car to the hotel and helped us bring our luggage.

Very nice, newly renovated rooms. Beautiful view onto the green hills and sea to one side and onto the small piazza with the cafe on the other side of the room. Quiet rooms with comfortable beds. Good location to explore Groznjan and the surroundings. Friendly and attentive staff.

The freshly made scrambled eggs for breakfast were good, but the bread selection was not great and some bread was clearly not fresh.

The place is amazing! The rooms are very comfortable. We staid in number 6. The en-suite wet room was amazing. The only issue was the drainage was not optimal. The bed was super comfortable and it was so quiet, we slept very well and needed an alarm clock to ensure we were up for breakfast (7 to 10am). Breakfast was good too. Fantastic location. The drainage in the bathroom and the shower rail was coming off the wall, but easy fixed. Pillows were big. We could have done with leaner ones. That said, our stay was great and this is truly minor points. The water pressure was great and we used one of the covers as pillow. Really nice stay!

The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Grožnjan/Grisignana. From our room we had a beautiful view of northwest Istria, including the Adriatic Sea, as well as the piazza along the church. The room itself was smartly designed, as was the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (although they were under constant stress because they also served the guests of the nice café in front of the hotel). All in all, Grožnjan/Grisignana is a quiet place most of the day (it is mostly only visited by day tourists). It is an ideal hub for cycling and MTB tours in the region (the Parenzana trail is just one of the many possibilities). The hotel also offers an interesting storage space for the bikes. Breakfast was great, the small dining room was also perfect for evening snacks with local prosciutto and wine in the café.

Wonderful staff helped me check in and store my bike. Great breakfast and restaurant downstairs, amazing views. Perfect place to stay in Motovun, I would stay again!

We loved the location, the quiet and peaceful nature of the place, the accommodating staff--it's a little gem in a lovely little village. The buffet breakfast was quite good; the room was nicely appointed, and everything felt new.
