Amazing hotel from top to bottom. Very family friendly. Very clean and updated rooms with beauitful paint , recessed and updated lighting. Bathrooms remodeled with walk in showers , beauitful tiles and vanity. In room fridge stocked with juices,soda,beer and wine. The staff went out out their way to make us comfortable without us even having to ask anything , from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. The complimentary breakfast is exceptional with amazing food choiced while being hosted in a beauitful high ceiling hall/ball room with 6 beautiful chandeliers setting a very vibrant and happy morning breakfast. The hostesses and chefs present and breakfast always had a smile on their face and were more than happy to make our stay pleasant. You will not be dissatisfied choosing this hotel. It is also in a location where the Lungomare beach and boardwalk/ restaurants are right across the street. For parking we parked at city parking which is located in a lot to the left of the hotel. It cost us about $70 for 4 days but it is worth it due to convenience. You can download app to pay with CC - It will be zone 0

Everything was great!

This was one of the best stays of my life. The hotel was very clean, staff incredibly attentive and helpful, and the food amazing. Thanks so much to Ivan, Vlado, Duško and other people I couldn’t catch their names, you made our stay truly memorable. We came with a dog and he was also treated in the best possible way! We will come back for sure some day as both the hotel and Opatija have a special place in our hearts now.

Just a small thing, but I would really appreciate if there was an iron in the room. Even though there is a cleaning/ironing service available, having an iron in the room would be very convenient.

Service in this hotel is outstanding. You forget how much you miss it when you stay in apartments and have to do everything on your own. After we spent the night, we wanted to explore the city for a few hours before heading to our next destination. No problem or extra charge for leaving our car in the small hotel parking lot. We left our luggage near the front desk, no charge. When we returned, the front desk clerk went to the parking lot up the hill and brought our car down to the front door! He helped us load our luggage and we tipped him, of course. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the elegant dining room, a former ballroom. Both meals were buffet style, with excellent choices. Helpful staff in the dining room. Quiet, comfortable bed and room. Beautiful old hotel, nicely renovated. Great location right on the seaside promenade.

Hotel staff, location, breakfast, cleanliness, spacious room, the view, all these things were excellent. Wellness was also really good.

Please change the pillows, they are incredibly bad, or at least buy 10 ergonomic pillows and offer these as an option. I lost sleep over the pillow. Second, I know this is a safety regulation, but my God, the blinking light from the fire alarm is blinding at night. I wasn't able to sleep because of it. Perhaps, if possible, rotate the fire alarm encasing, so the LED light faces the wall, instead of th bed. And too bad that otherwise excellent wellness doesn't have a pool, I would perhaps put a pull where the jacuzzi are, and put the jacuzzis where the relaxing sofas are.

Very helpfull & kind stuff. Very spacious rooms. Hotel has payed parking & it’s in the centre, nice views around & from seaside rooms. One of the best breakfast I saw lately, keep it like this please. Huge spread on display & variety of food, drinks etc. Nice bar & terrace outside. Excellent helpdesk at hotel chain reservations as I was not sure which day I will visit hotel out of 3 days in a row. Reception can keep luggage after checkout & car can be left at hotel parking all day after checkout.

Maybe little bit small bathroom at room, but that is not really a minus, as room was huge, more than enough space for 4 persons in general. Not sure is it because it’s heritage site & not allowed to be touched without architects, but some part of building fasade and ballroom areas need attention.

Great staff, always ready to help and meet you all the way when needed. Great food, service, accommodation. After pointing out some minor things, we've got properly acknowledged and taken care of. In the center, close to the sea and the Lungomare, walking wherever you wish. Positive things outweigh the negative ones, which were in the end, minor.

The room under the roof, while charming, was not the best fit for three people. Poor air circulation due to roof windows which automatically closed in rain, an unsuitable third bed, the amenities provided were also limited for a group of three. There were only toiletries and cups set for two people. The room's proximity to a ventilation system caused some noise disturbance, affecting our sleep quality. However, the staff's prompt resolution to these issues, including appropriate compensation, made our stay enjoyable and left us with a desire to return.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the center of Opatija, just a few minutes from supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, and the beach. The hotel has its own parking, which cannot be reserved, which might be a problem, especially during the season. However, there is a public parking lot right next to the hotel that you can use if the hotel parking is full. The room was comfortable, cozy, just like in the pictures. The staff is extremely friendly, and overall, there is a good value for money. We didn't use the breakfast/dinner services and the spa, but we saw the facilities, and everything looks great. We liked it. Recommended.

Super good: bed is huge and comfy, room is spacious, bathroom of a nice size, room is quiet and clean. Unobstructed sea view from the room (booked a sea-view room) . Classic style, high ceilings, nice little balcony. Great breakfast. Super friendly staff - they saw at the check in that my husband will have a birthday while we are in the hotel and they brought us a free bottle of a sparkling wine! So nice! Hotel has own parking, but also a nice parking place just 10 meters from the hotel. Price is quite the same (5 eur less for 2 days at a hotel). Location is super - short walk to everything in Opatija.

I'm very gratefull that I could spend romantic weekend with my husband in Heritage Hotel Imperial because everything was so perfect and we really manage to get away from busy daily life and just relax and enjoy! Staff: everyone was very polite, but not in a way that they were pretending but they are all trully nice people. They care that everything is perfectly arranged, so that guests can relax and enjoy without worries. Room and bathroom: clean, big, cozy, great mattress and many pillows. Food: nobody can stay hungry in this hotel! Big selection of tasty continental and meditteranean dishes. Spa: thank You Katarina for Your kindness and thank You Tomislav for best massages ever! Great space with whirpools, saunas and large area to relax. Parking is behind the hotel, Lungomare promenade starts one minute from the hotel, everything is in walking distance, stores, pharmacy etc. Also Imperial caffee in front of the hotel has beautiful terrace and great coffee and cocktails. Hope we'll come back again!

We were welcomed warmly by a receptionist. Although the building could stand some classy restauration, you can still feel the majesty of the place from imperial times. Our room was on the small side, but impeccably clean, nice and with comfortable mattresses. We didn’t regret to take a dinner at hotel but we enjoyed variety and quality of food served at breakfast buffet a lot. Breakfast is something you really shouldn’t miss if staying there.

Might be that we are a little clumsy, but we couldn’t find a bottle of complimentary water granted at check-in. We were a little bit surprised by the surcharge for our dog (29€), which we consider exaggerated, especially as there is no service for the dog included, like a dog bed and a bowl for water, as it is practice in many hotels which charge for a pet. Extra charges like this should be made clear at the time of booking.
