The hotel has a nice view to the sea and it is few walking minutes to the beach. It has terrace on the front where on some nights they had live music. Breakfast is various and rich. The personal was very nice too.

Parking…well parking is an issue from what i saw everywhere in Opatija. The hotel has a parking place in an abandoned yard or something. The place looked a little suspicious, but they have video surveillance, and it s safe to leave your car there. Parking is not free, it costs @20e/day which is a good price for Opatija, but to be honest I was expecting to have the parking included in the room price, or at least to be mentioned somewehere on the hotel description

The staff at the check-in/reception and at the restaurant was very kind, helpful, attentive, and friendly. The room was spacious, with a very comfy bed and a clean and nice bathroom with a bathtub. The minibar was nicely and fully filled. The cleaning service was super. The location of the hotel is central and it has the "K.u.K-Flair", which is anyway typical of Opatija. Park Angiolina is just accross the street and so is the Lido -if you can afford EUR 70 per day for 2 sunbeds, 2 towels and a bottle of mineral water plus a fruit bowl. If your budget is more limited, Plaza Slatina is also close-by, max 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel Bristol has a nice bar with a terrace.

The central location is a bit of a disadvantage from parking point of view: the hotel has a parking place but it´s an open courtyard cca 5 minutes away from the hotel. Unfortunately there´s no gym or any other recreational facilities (sauna, spa).

Very nicely renovated 1906 Building with high ceilings throughout. The old grandeur is definitely alive and well here. The architects of the extensive recent renovation have resisted squeezing in more rooms and extra floors keeping the rooms very spacious. Public parking is 50 meters away. The sea view is truly unobstructed from the higher floors.

Lobby is designed for summer use with open access to the terrace, it is somewhat restricted in winter.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Allowed me to have a very early check in and went out of their way to be helpful (Luka). Luka’s help in particular is the reason for high score. The room was large and clean. The shower was amazing… very powerful. I loved the way the hotel had kept and worked around the original features such as the window shutters

Would have given full scores across the board if there had been a kettle in the room. This was certainly missed!

Superb hotel in the old style in the centre of Opatija. Evrythibg was just perfect, the rooms are lovely, food is great and the stuff is realy nice. The only hotel which was really dog friendly and we were awaited with a dog bed, a water bowl and a goody.

Friendly staff (reception guy recommended to visit Chestnut festival in Lovran and we went- it was great!), good comfortable bed, large sized room with a great sea view, great location, very good variety and quality of food at breakfast.

Sorry that hotel does not have inner swimming pool and wellness massages are expensive (compared to similar at Slovenian hotels wellnesses, but similar in the same hotel chain in Warsaw).

The staff members are very kind and friendly. The breakfast is very good. Everything offered for that repast is of an excellent quality. The hotel is very well situated, in front of the Angiolina Park. The rooms are very nice and well furnished. The desk table is very adequate for the purpose for which it's been conceived and comfortable

In the first evening of my stay at the hotel there was a very loud and disturbing music until 11 o'clock, audible in the room even with closed windows. I couldn't find out if it was at the hotel itself or if it came from somewhere else. The mattresses are not tough enough, For health purposes they should be tougher. The parking is too far away from the hotel building and too expensive.

Hotel is in fantastic position near the town and sea. Also, the open air theatre is very close by - we were going to a concert. Room was very large with dual aspect windows overlooking sea and towards town. Our only negative was the breakfast (lack of coffee to order, just from a machine) and the room it was served in - no views out when the hotel is in a lovely location. The cafe area would have been much nicer. Reception staff were all very friendly and efficient.

It’s located pretty much very close to everything you might need or think off

Rooms are clean, bright. Stuff is welcoming and helpful, it was rainy day and our bus supposed to be later than check out and we felt really welcomed at lobby too after hour check out

For breakfast it was a bit poor selection, very bad coffee and water used for drinks (juice, etc...) was filled from plastic bucket for watering flowers, even in font of the guests :( Location is perfect and rooms quite comfortable, but with very loud air condition device.

Very hospitable staff and great location. We also really enjoyed the evening music.
