The location was good, very central. Hotel had a cosy feel and felt homely. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was adequate with a fairly good choice, Had good access to the upper town with the steps at the rear of the hotel and also the funicular just round the corner. Rear of the hotel very pretty with Christmas lights and decorations. Overall a good stay.

Although the room was spotless when we arrived, the first days housekeeping left a lot to be desired, bed not properly made, bins not emptied etc As the Christmas market started during our stay there was fairly loud music, we did have a room on the upper floor but could still hear it and people noise. Reception told us it would be over by 11 on the Saturday and 10 on the other days which was correct, just something to bear in mind when booking in the run up to Christmas.

Perfect location , cozy rooms! I’m the classy person , that’s why for me this hotel is amazing! The terrace outside is also beautiful. I would love to go back one day! ❤️

a small selection of breakfast, totally for European people who drink coffee with some croissant I recommend you to add some flakes, sausages , for example but anyway , this is not the worst breakfast I’ve had 😅 coffee is yammy!

The location of the hotel is absolutely unbeatable; it cannot get any more central. Walking through the arcade to reach the hotel entrance feels simply magical. Our room was super cozy and quiet despite overlooking the inner courtyard. Breakfast was adequate, offering a decent variety of hot and cold dishes. The secured parking area is located only a few minutes walk from the hotel and is free of charge. The highlight of our stay was the staff, who were all incredibly friendly, helpful, accommodating, and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. We will certainly be back.

The sink in our bathroom was a bit on the higher side, which might be uncomfortable for individuals under 165 cm in height.

First of all, a huge ‘thank you’ to Magdalena, who works the front desk! Not only did she look after all my needs throughout my stay at Hotel Jagerhorn, but she totally save the day for me regarding a Viator ‘all day tour’ I had to the Plitvicka National Water Park. She creatively figured out how to get the information regarding the directions to where I was to catch the tour van…. I already had my e-ticket for the tour, but Viator locked me out of my booking detail which included directions to the meetup spot to catch the tour van. Beyond that, the hotel was everything and more than I had imagined it to be!

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property!!!!

Nice hotel in the heart of the City center (right on the main shopping street with a lot of bars and restaurants around) Very nice breakfast facilities on the terrace, tasty breakfast. Good communication and service. Clean comfortable rooms. our room was quiet during the night. free parking in the closed yard - 5 minute walking.

not a big problem, just to mention for others: - stairs (no lift) - no parking right at the facility but 5 min. walking distance (but we knew it in advance) - yes, A/C is working centrally with no possibility to turn it of, but we had no problem to sleep (it was not so loud and not blowing cold air on us directly - the temperature could be set manually) - our room was under the attick, so it looked very small (no problem for us for one night)

Super central location close to the main square. They arranged taxis to and fro for me at a reasonable rate and billed directly to my hotel account. Staff was extra friendlly. I had to leave before breakfast so they packed a ‘to go’ bag for me. Helped me with my suitcases and brought me an iron and board when I requested one.

Room was super small photo definitely make it look bigger. Over-priced compared to upscale apts in Zagreb. Although it’s advertised as renovated it looks in need of renovations. Hallways. Stairs looked dodgy - historic hotel without the ambience. No restaurant or coffee shop or snack bar. Had 1 pillow - asked for extra and was told they had no extra pillows? Weird for a hotel.

Good location, in heart of old town, short walk to markets old sites. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed eating outside. The wait-staff was attentive. The room was 'as expected' for Euro standards in an old town, but more accessible outlets would have been helpful. It was clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

The stairs to get to our room were long and steep and it would have been helpful for a staff person to help me carry my luggage upstairs. (I did not ask for assistance and would have appreciated an offer from them.)

Fantastic Hotel in Central Zagreb. Lovely Staff, so very friendly. Great breakfast with good coffee. A lovely cafe lounge is situated in the Hotel. It is so warm and cosy, a perfect place to have a Mulled wine. The hotel is situated up an alley/walkway which has some shops and has bar stalls which open in the afternoon. There are heaters and music and of course there are so many Christmas lights to set a wonderful atmosphere. All closes up at 10pm sharp so you won't be disturbed.

Location is superb, great breakfast and coffee! We had a triple room which was comfortable with a huge king bed and single. Staff gave us great suggestions for dinner and places to visit as we were only in Zagreb for 24 hours! Lovely staff.

The air con could not be turned off during the night and it was very nosy, like being on an aircraft. Slept with earplugs. We were on the top attic floor and it was 33 degrees during the day so was thankful for air con. We didn’t speak to the staff about this so they may have been able to turn it off for the night time.

- A marvelous location — exactly the center of the city, close to Jelacic square and just next door to the upper city funicular, yet on some distance from Ilica street and thus, quiet; - Helpful staff guided us with our questions; - Breakfast with orange juice, omelette, nice coffee and pastries.

- I suspect, the room was a bit smaller than 20 meters, so not too much space, but for us it was OK, as we had only hand luggage; - A bit sad that such a lovely place offers only breakfast and bar, we would’ve been happy to have a dinner there as well.
