The location was excellent. Right on the street that divides the upper and lower cities with tram stops right outside, yet set back in a courtyard, so it is still quiet. The breakfast was a nice mix of items and staff made sure it was well stocked. The room was pleasant, with a nice big bathroom.

Nothing. However, just be aware that the entrance isn't very obvious from the street - watch out for a big blue and white "parking" sign.

Very comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. Parking was convenient and only 10euro/night. Location is fabulous for visiting upper and lower town.

Front desk staff were less than helpful. We asked how to make an outside call from our room and they couldn't tell us. We also asked for help calling a beauty salon, and they said there was no way they would have any availability. We ended up calling from our cell phone and they did indeed have availability immediately. Lucky maybe, but the staff was not very helpful to us.

The hotel has the best location: close to the tram stop, the famous funicular, the central square, all the museums, the botanical garden, etc. I really liked the extreme responsiveness of the staff, I have not met better anywhere yet. Also a good breakfast, quite varied and filling. The room has a huge bathroom. Cleaning is done every day.

I didn't like the slightly shabby state of the furniture in the room, the shabby upholstery. It wasn't quiet in the room, there was always some kind of noise in the morning and evening, someone was walking and stomping, slamming doors. This is not very critical, but still.

Great location: this hotel is on the main street that runs through Zagreb with lots of shops nearby. It is a small to medium size hotel, which I found quite nice. We were greeted with a glass of bubbly - lovely touch! There are cookies/biscuits and candies at the check in counter. Aida at reception was fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is only open for breakfast as far as we could tell, but there is a bar at the reception desk so we were able to order drinks and relax before going up to our room. We had to leave early so we missed breakfast but they offered to pack up some baked goods to take away. Pay parking on site is very convenient. Our room was spacious, modern, and comfortable with a nice new bathroom.

An extra blanket in the room would have been a nice touch. There is not much bad to say about this place - we loved it! We are sorry we couldn't stay a little longer:)

The location is great. Right in the middle of the town. The tram station is just outside the hotel and there are plenty of shops around. The hotel was clean and cozy and the staff was excellent. Good variety for breakfast too.

The housekeeping was surprising. They seemed to have only replenished the toiletries but didn't change the bed sheet or towels. So, that was strange.

Pros: -Hotel is very close the the center of the city -Room was clean, spacious enough and quiet -Breakfast was good and varied, so even if it was the same every day, you had a few things to try -Parking was right in the inside courtyard of the hotel -Internet was good and covered the entire room -Receptionist was very welcoming and friendly

Cons: -Breakfast was advertised to be from 7:00 - 10:00. However, if you went there at 9:30 you would not find certain varieties of foods as they would be finished and the staff would not replenish those -We stayed 2 days and did not need cleaning so we set the room to Do Not Disturb. Even so, the cleaning leady came in while we were out on the city and did some cleaning in the room. That is not really admissible, especially given we were not made aware that the cleaning staff would ignore the room status! -Given the location and size of the hotel, you do not have rooms with a view, at all. Best view you can have is of the main street, but then you would also get the noise of the trams and cars

Very good location, easy access to the old town. Great breakfast with loads of choice. Comfortable beds. Nice big bathroom and shower. We had a room at the front of the hotel (looking out over the trams etc), and while the double windows filtered a lot of the sound away, I found that ear plugs were needed (though I'm self-admittedly a very light sleeper). Plenty of parking at the back of the hotel.

Parking was expensive but that's probably to be expected in the middle of town. When we showered, water ran out of the cubicle and spilled onto the bathroom floor, leaving a watery mess (the cubicle door didn't close properly). But the latter was only a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things :)

This is truly a hidden gem! Literally hidden! Thankfully I had a taxi bring me from the airport to the hotel because there is no big sign on the Ilica Street to advertise the hotel (there is a small mention on the parking sign on the street) and I’d likely still be looking! The hotel is quite charming – my room 312 on the top floor didn’t have a fantastic view, but was big and light with windows in the bedroom and bathroom that opened to let in plenty of fresh air. This was welcomed, given the warm weather in Zagreb during my stay! The bedroom was spacious with an area for my suitcase and a desk area, the bed comfortable and plenty of hanging and storage space in the wardrobe. The bathroom offered plenty of room, though the shower was a little small. The only products offered were soap and a shower cap, but on the final day, shampoo, body wash and body lotion were also available. This would have been better given when I first arrived! Breakfast was included in the nightly rate and consisted of cereal, fruit, a hot selection (bacon, sausages and eggs) and cold selection (meats, cheese and salad), bread and fresh pastries, juice and tea/coffee. This was served each morning from 7am and provided a good start to each day! The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance from many of the important Zagreb landmarks - Ban Jelačić Square, cathedral, markets, the Upper Town (easily walkable, though also accessible via the funicular), Tkalčićeva Street, Stone Gate, plenty of shops and many, many restaurants and eating places. This location was perfect! A special thanks to the girls at Reception, particularly Anamaria and Katarina who were so super helpful in providing directions, suggestions for things to do, arranging a breakfast bag for my early check out on my last day and also giving me a tram ticket to the train station. I was appreciative of their help throughout the three days of my stay.

As mentioned, the bathroom products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc) would have been appreciated earlier but didn't detract from the quality of my stay!

Extremely kind, responsive and smiling staff. They greet you with a smile and a welcome glass of prosecco. They gave us information about everything related to our stay in Zagreb and tourist maps of the city. The hotel is in a prime location, 5-10 minutes from the old town and with very convenient tram connections to the rest of the more distant parts of the city. For those traveling by car - there is paid parking. We had 4 night stayin and were a standard double room with normal equipment. It was very well soundproofed, there is a kettle for coffee and tea, a mini fridge. Every day they cleaned the room and changed the towels. The breakfast was excellent and with a lot of variety. On our next stay in Zagreb, we would choose this hotel again.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. There is a car park right on the property, and they offer discounts to hotel guests. This worked well for us. I'm picky about my room type, and I didn't love the room I was assigned. The employee was very patient with me and allowed me to look at another room to make sure it was acceptable. The breakfast was amazing! There are so many options and some authentic Croatian foods. Make sure you have the palačinkes!

I didn't like that they allow smoking inside in the small bar area. However, I understand this is the norm in Croatia.
