First impressions, right? This Hotel was the icing with cherry on my cake for my Zagreb stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Also no frills & quick check in and check out (which I deem important). Room and hotel very pleasant from a practical point of view and also from the design (I loved its aesthetics) perspective. Parking right below the hotel was so immensly practical. Gym A+. I also enjoyed the variations provided for breakfast. Nice meeting rooms (didn't use them but had a quick peek). Shower head. Yes, it's the details. They do have a proper German (sorry rest of the world, but your shower heads are junk) shower head. And proper water pressure. Yay! They obviously care for keeping a clean hotel and clean rooms, standards here are high and left this spoiled guy not much left to be desired (that being said, there were some spider webs on the emergency exit sign in the gym, lol).

Room doors slam loudly. This robbed me of my sleep as soon as other guests left early in the morning (and I already slept with ear plugs). While this is a general problem it also should be an easy fix. Some high-level criticism: I didn't care so much for the hair dryer. It works but also is loud and the cable is too short. Also an easy fix :-) I didn't see them or they don't provide hotel slippers.

We had the most fantastic experience during our stay at this remarkable hotel! From the moment we stepped into the room, we were captivated by its super stylish design. The interiors were tastefully decorated, creating a chic and inviting ambiance. But it wasn't just the aesthetics that impressed us, the hotel's staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their genuine hospitality and attention to detail truly set this place apart. One of the highlights for us was the amazing parking facilities. With ample space and easy access, parking was a breeze, ensuring a stress-free arrival and departure. As a pet owner, I was thrilled to find out that this hotel is pet-friendly, making our stay absolutely delightful. In summary, this hotel offers a perfect blend of exceptional design, warm and attentive staff, convenient parking, and a welcoming environment for pets. I cannot wait to return and enjoy their hospitality again. Highly recommended!

The pet fee of 29€ in comparison to other hotels is a bit expensive.

Food was great and the hotel in general lives up to its four star rating. It was great to be able to open the windows, this is uncommon these days in a high rating hotel.

There is noise from the neighboring railway tracks so even the window can open, they cannot be kept open for long. This is why taking a room on the back for anyone who enjoys opening the window for fresh air (as opposed to the one from AC) is not a good idea. The noise is not audible if the window is closed, though.

We liked pretty much everything without exception. Staff were very friendly, car park is underneath the building so secured parking with easy access to the rooms. Rooms are very modern with comfortable bed, great coffee and the location is so close to the motorway so easy access. The breakfast was excellent too and the guys working in the restaurant were very friendly and professional too. Highly recommend Movenpick and we will be staying at Movenpick where available on our next trip.

If someone dislike something, ignore it as what you get for the money is much more than what we’ve expected so our expectations were well exceeded.

The availability of parking lot. The tidiness and cleanness of the room.

The transparent walls of the bath room. Not suitable for a family with kids from my point of view. It could be fine for parents who don't have anything against exposing their naked bodies in front of the children. One had to rely on the lights coming from outside the bath room to make him/herself invisible to some extent from inside the bath room. The weak isolated walls. One could hear how the neighbour in next room is coughing.

Staff were very kind and helpful, underground parking available which means the car is not in the sun all day. The interior of the hotel is beautifully decorated although the bathroom is a little too dark but was not an issue.

Breakfast was way to expensive at €18 per person per day, as breakfast was not included in our booking, Although the room was cleaned well everyday a lot of dust built up throughout the day. We were told this was due to the ventilation/AC which is a design fault. Also the dark interior made the dust standout.

The breakfast was absolutely perfect. I could find everything I was used to eat at home and even more. The fitness room was what you need to keep fit during a journey.

The size of a fridge. I understand what the refrigerator is in a hotel for but it was too small in any case. The second failure was an absence of sockets for computer and phones near the desktop. I had a very long wire for my MacBook and it helped me connect my laptop from the socket which was near my bedside table. So it is important for every traveler to take very long cable for computer with you. That is it.

the hotel is very modern, clean comfortable. breakfast was great, kitchen staff was great as well however the concierge staff was not , it was horrifying to me speaking in Croatian about me thinking I don’t understand the language as I’m American. I responded to them in Croatian and than they went silent. in addition I got there earlier than 3 pm check in time they refused to let me check in until the time, I was so tired and ended up waiting in the lobby . I will not go again only because of concierge staff, sad because the hotel is nice and all other staff are great.

This hotel is a gem in Zagreb. Superb service, modern, well-appointed rooms, private, secure garage with electric car chargers, great breakfast. It is accessible without any hassle of a downtown traffic jam, yet the center of the city is maximum 15 min drive from Movenpick. We are becoming regulars at this hotel. Also, here is a shout for great man Goran, an amazing staff of Movenpick.

Good overnight stay to catch a flight . We stayed for some hours and it was good value for the price

The air conditioning in our room didn’t work and the staff couldn’t help much as it was Sunday night. They were very nice and offered another room but as we had an early morning flight the next day and our daughter was asleep , we didn’t move . Check the air conditioning in your room 😀
