The hotel is absolutely ok. Nothing fancy, a little bit old, but really clean and nice. The staff was nice too. The room was ok, the bed is comfortable. The location is not perfect, but the center is only 15-20 min on foot, so it is not so challenging and there is a tram stop too close to the hotel. The breakfast is included in price and it is a pretty good continental breakfast. So, we were satisfied.

There is nothing wrong with this place. Only the location is not perfect. The neighborhood is not fancy and not close to the center, but ok.

The property is located very close to the city center and in the walking distance of the Mendel Square. The hotel is located on the river bank with close proximity to hospital, few restaurants and grocery shops. The hotel itself is nice with nice and helpful staff. My room was quite simple but it was enough for 2 nights. The price of the room was very nice (low), which was great due to the last minute trip to Brno.

The hotel seems a bit outdated with rooms. My room for example didn’t have AC. In addition, I was missing the shower curtain in the bathroom. I had to shower sitting in the tub not to make too much mess. There is a rooftop restaurant where breakfast is served (with a very nice view) but it is closed after the breakfast. The breakfast itself also seemed a bit poor. There was bread, eggs, some cheese and ham and coffee, tea or juice.

My room looked better in real life than in the pictures. It's very close to a tram stop, so getting there was pretty easy. The view from the restaurant was pretty nice. Staff were nice and understanding.

I thought the opening hours of the restaurant (for breakfast) were a bit restrictive. (The food options for breakfast are also a bit limited). Sometimes I could hear my neighbors, especially from the bathroom.

Overall the hotel was very satisfactory. Nothing too special but gets the job done and the staff are treating the guests very nicely. The variety of foods at breakfast was exceptional.

The beds were rather stiff (you could feel the springs), and depending on which person will be refilling your breakfast they might be really good or leave the tomato plate empty after the first plate.

I liked that the interior seemed to have a timeless vibe, without the nowadays fashionable abstract art and transparent/plastic pieces of furniture. The room had a nice view to some cosy gardens and residential buildings of a semi-suburban area. The breakfast space is simply amazing, with a nice view. I also like the naming of the rooms based on characters/families from the hotel's namesake battle.

The faucet had a squealing sound sometimes.

Comfy large rooms. Mini fridge and a good breakfast

Proximity to major road junction. Recommended non castle view rooms. On our stay major roads works outside our window starting at 7am 7 days a week.

value for money on a Saturday. cereal for breakfast was ok. despite being on the landing infront of the lift it was quiet and we slept well.

beds were hard and you can feel the springs. bathroom was clean, bath was clean but the sink had some hairs.

Good breakfast, clean rooms and mainly the perfect location if you want to explore Brno. It has nice view to Spilberk castle and the Svratka river. Breakfast is served in the higher floors, so you can fully enjoy the view.

The room was big and well-equipped (big screen television, chairs and desks). The breakfast was good (lots of vegetables and cold dishes).

The bathroom style is a little bit old-fashioned.

The bad was very comfortable, the room is big. The breakfast was excellent. The room was equipped with a quite large TV.

We had to wait 2-3 minutes for the warm water :)
