This place is excellent, from the booking process (check-in is done remotely to ease arrival), to the friendliness and professionalism of the multilingual staff who finish the check-in process, to the exceptional cleanliness, to the location (if arriving by train Ostrava střed is nearer than Ostrava hlavní nádraží).

Should I write something here? It does feel a bit institutional on arrival. Of course, as it’s a university halls of residence in term time) then that's the way things are. But this is only a very, very minor criticism. It would be unfair to say that it was a dislike.

Excellent location in the very center of the city. Friendly staff. Room was not very big, for 2 people, but I was alone. Bathroom and small kitchen are shared with second room, but it was also empty. Everything was clean. In general, good value for the price.

WiFi router in my room was broken (its plug), and in the evening administrators could not help, just asked to wait the morning, but as I stayed for 1 night, I checked out without exchange of router. One of the chairs was worn.

this is most likely used during year as student accommodation and during summer this is available for public. I was based in small apartment with two rooms and shared bathroom and shared kitchen however I was there on my own therefore this was very nice and comfortable.

I was based in extended part of building so was a bit confusion to navigate around but got use to it which elevator to use for breakfast area and which to exist building via reception. Due to my room location there was still one fleet of stairs I got to walk with my suitcase but doable but it is good to mind that not all rooms are accessible without few stairs. Stuff is not proactively monitoring to refill breakfast table offer however they will jump in if you ask them.

Compact, convenient and clean accommodation. Close to everything. A high-quality student room, with separate bathroom. Room had a kettle and small sink, hob, microwave and fridge. Very good value. Note that there isn't air conditioning in the room, but the windows can be opened.

The room was big, nicely decorated and clean. I liked the little kitchen that allowed me to make myself coffee in the morning. Bed was nice and comfortable.

The electricity went out before my check out, but it maybe wasn't the hotel's fault.

I was looking for a quick overnight option in Ostrava during a longer trip and found Kampus Palace as the best price option in the location. Didn't notice that it was a student dormitory, but if all dorms would be of this quality - I would be a happy student :)

It was a very hot day, no A/C, but a fan option would be great. Thick building walls provided some cover thou.

Location is great. Very near to the centre of the town. Easy walk to the Karolina Shopping Complex. Tram network close by gives very good access to the rest of the city. Clothes washing facilities are great, bed changed every week by staff. Lift to every floor. Staff who speak good English are very welcoming and helpful

Access to the internet was variable. No air conditioning. Travellers that book Kampus Palace must realise that this is principally student accommodation. Which it states clearly in the advertisement. I wish that my student accommodation had been as good as this.

It is a modern hotel in a student accommodation facility. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was varied and superb and the room itself contained everything needed for a pleasant stay. The bathroom was spacious and everything was clean. The hotel is right in the city center just a short walk from a major shopping mall and the central bus station. I enjoyed my stay and can recommend it.

Nice and clean place, big space, located in the center. Available towels, small shower gel, coffee. Free parking close to the apartment, better to ask for directions before arrival. Receptionist speaks good English.

We had a reservation for three people, but bed linen was prepared only for two. Luckily additional bedclothes were in the wardrobe.

Everything was so much better than expected, it's hard to know where to start, but the staff were fantastic. Friendly, helpful, accommodating. Very professional, and knowledgeable about the area, helping me to get around and get things I needed. Room was very large, super clean, and beautifully decorated. I felt just like being at home. Beds were comfy and bathroom was clean and modern. Nice small kitchenette with fridge and all the stuff you need to make snacks or small meals. Location was perfect, very close to shopping, bus station, and tram lines to train stations. A block from downtown. Both a vegetarian restaurant, and standard regular restaurant, are right next door and were excellent. Room was quiet and easily accessible by elevator, and had plenty of windows for light. Two workdesks provided, couch, etc. I could go on but this is the nicest place I've stayed in Ostrava in years. After this, you're paying twice the price for old school hotels, or even more for boutique places that have no reception, as this did 24/7. Couldn't be happier, and I only hope that I can find a room here every time I come to Ostrava.

Absolutely everything was perfect, especially considering that everything in Ostrava (and Brno) is overpriced. Great value, great staff, great room.
