Good beds, location, break-out room, quiet rooms, breakfast excellent.

The hotel room that had a phone, and could not make outside local calls, properly. I went back and forth between my room and the receptionist about 4 times to "learn" how to property make outside calls. After 4-5 attempts to make an outside call with the given directions, the receptionist said I could make the call from the front desk. It would have been better for the staff to know how to make outside call from the room. Otherwise the stay was very good.

Fantastic hotel in central Ostrava. Housed in a historic building. Rooms are huge and nicely decorated - opt for a Privilege room if you want even more space and a free minibar, for an only slightly higher price. Location is unbeatable, 8 minutes by tram and 30 minutes walking from the main train station, centrally located, 4 minutes walk from Stodolni Street. Tons of dining options near the hotel, plus for self catering an Albert Supermarket (open long hours 7 days a week) a 3 minutes walk away. Staff very nice and helpful. Wifi fast. Mercure is usually solid, but this one certainly exceeds expectations.

Great location, very central and easy to reach. The hotel was clean, elegant and the room was big and comfy. Personel were polite and generally efficient. The room was cleaned every day.

Nothing too bad but not sure I would rate it as good value for price, breakfast was decent but nothing special. It's a bit on the expensive side for a non-touristic city (I went in November as well). The window in the room wasn't the thickest so you can hear street sounds. It wasn't too loud but this was during a quiet winter weekend so I assume it's noisier in summer.

Breakfast - Tasty with a large selection of food and bavarages, nice and helpful staff at the front desk and restaurant, good location with lots of possibilities to visit a restaurant

The room - small (in comparison with the bathroom :)) with a bed right behind the doors, without smart TV, in the bathroom, it is impossible to hang a towel near the shower.

Location is good close to the town centre. Hotel has great facilities, and very clean and decor excellent. Rooms very good. Breakfast very good. Bar and evening food very good

Would have been nice to have UK news program on the TV, but this is a minor point

The location was excellent as it was very handy to access all of Ostrava from. There's a tram and bus stop nearby as well as it being within walking distance to the centre and the river. The breakfast ha plenty to offer and the staff were helpful.

The property is centrally located. Rooms are large. Building has been well converted into a hotel facility and still retains some of its old features. Staircase is one of them. The town hall, river side and city centre are all 10 mins walking distance. Don’t waste money calling for a taxi. Excellent gym.

lovely ambience and welcoming atmosphere. very well situated to allow easy visits to local cathedral. we were able to support also our granddaughter who represented Australia in the world championships of Sports Aerobics in Ostrava

The hotel delivered as promised. Room was great, spacious, modern, well furnished. The shower was spacious and modern as well. Breakfast was amazing.

The hotel parking was limited and the lot was extremely crowded as the hotel couldn’t accommodate all the parking needs.

Nice and clean hotel, in the city centre, very comfy bed, nice shower. Reception was pleasant and when I asked for an extra pillow, it was delivered within next 5 mins. And, I jave to say, try the breakfast! Huge selection, everything very fresh.
